As for flow reduced shower heads and faucets there are as I have several in the US in my house and they work fine, I replaced them 2 years ago. That only works if there are US mfr making exportable goods the world wants at a price they can afford. Today's service economy in the US doesn't support that scenario very well and it will take quite a long time, if ever to rebuild the infrastructure in mfr to think about being competitive on the global stage. The cost of labor alone in the US is prohibitive to global mfr.
