Other than an overstay your only option would be to go out for a new non-ed visa which might not be easy to get now.
Alright, what if I do a border-run at Mae Sai? Or will I lose my ED visa then?

Hello people! I’m not sure what I can do, but my 3 month ED visa will expire on 21 August, my school have already sent the documents to the ministry of education, it was sent 2 July, and my school still haven’t get them back, the school will need them so I can extend my visa with 3 months at the immigration so I can continue study.
i talked with my teacher and she told me that if we don’t receive the documents before 21 August when my visa expires then I will need to overstay until they got the documents, the school will pay the overstay fine, but now there are 11 days left until my visa expire so what are my options? I really don’t want to overstay.
Thank you

Maybe the school should tell them(moe) to hurry up since it have been taking so long time.
Any agents in Chiang Mai that can help me ?
