  1. I bought a BKK-CNX ticket on them once. Was not able to contact their customer service by any know means of communication. Ended up no-showing for the flight. Can’t remember why. After the Sandbox quarantine
  2. Is transfer of tickets allowed?
  3. Good for you. I always heard they were red. How should I know what colour they are really I would never overstay on purpose. The worlds’ jails are full of people who thought they could get away with clear wrongdoing. A limitation of the criminal mind. So, will you blithely overstay in Japan too? Having overstay stamps in one’s passport is a negative. Good luck.
  4. Even if foreigners can use electronic gates, which sounds unlikely Every country that deploy them has agents nearby monitoring the process, and dealing with the issues that arise So of course it will be "manned", and womaned
  5. No, but you fool yourself if they, the consular staff and Immigration officers of various countries are not trained to identify the meaning of red stamps and then fax it to someone who does "read Thai". Yes FAX, as in "Japan" The mind boggles.
  6. How do you think the embassies, consulates or airport immigration officers of other countries you may apply for visa to or visit will feel about your Thailand overstay stamp? You might be in for a surprise the attitude other countries take towards overstay. Unless one applies for the Thailand Elite programme it does not appear Thailand Immigration really cares about short overstays. I would never overstay on purpose. How about changing your flight and leaving two days early?
  7. It is 2024, no more sexual objectivization can be tolerated by these female chauvinist pigs. Take back the night!
  8. Many gropings and what of the thousands of “hello handsome man” catcalls I have endured ?
  9. I'm sure that fact has cured any remaining antisemitism that once existed among the Emirati population Now I have met people who had worked at Emirates and I told them the story about the application. There have been a lot of American expat pilots for years in the Gulf and supposedly even one of the chief pilots there, which is an elite management position, was a Jewish American guy and "everyone knew". So basically it was OK, if living as a closet case. Do you understand how odious that sounded?
  10. 20 plus years ago I filled out the online pilot application to Emirates based in the so-called "tolerant" UAE. In the personal details section there was a drop down window to select one's religion. I don't remember if it had none or atheism, probably not, but the drop down included every religion I have ever heard of to select. From Buddhism to Christianity to literally Zoroastrianism. Every Single Religion. Except one.
  11. Do notpost online reviews in Thailand unless they are very positive If you do not like the food you get for lunch pay and go somewhere else How broke are you? For Buddha sake you risk would risk legal actions and jail to get another Trip Advisor rating? The mind boggles
  12. Fake passport, or jumped off a Yacht?
  13. That’s called prohibited work. Follow the rules-no problems
  14. Makes even less sense than those who wish to sell their condo then buy another using the funds. Since you worked 9 years one should have proof of wage slips and tax returns
  15. I hear many CMU girls lez out during college for above stated reasons. Then after graduation employment seek out more conventional relationship with possibility of marriage.
  16. Open the “boarders” and provide a clear path to permanent residence and citizenship.
  17. I haven’t argued with you I’m in complete agreement. If you want a debate please arouse my pedantry with another subject Call it what you want but understand your limitations such as you permit to stay clearly marked in the passport I can’t help people however who think a month is the same as 30 days. Thus then book their return flight on the last day of stay validity (something I would never do) from getting a nasty surprise when they get back to BKK airport.
  18. What is your bod like? I would start on a strict diet myself and then to a gym or sports activity twice a day
  19. I did not know they work in pairs. Sounds like a variant of the “you have a lucky face” Indian fakir. I have been approached by them many time on lower Suk, and once in Hong Kong. I just laughed I think it is a hazard to talk to them they may be skilled at hypnosis and thus talk you out of your monies.
  20. After I were to have the 90 day Non-O in my passport would it be possible to get a re-entry permit, leave Thailand by air for 14-16 days then re-enter and apply for the 12 month extension at the appropriate time? Thank you. Chiang Mai immigration is known to make up their own rules in certain areas of interpretation, example TM30.
  21. The 19th hole is the most scintillating.
  22. I rarely have reason to leave the layover hotel, at all.
  23. The staff would be lucky to get a suspended termination warning from the Hospital based on several months of sensitivity training! Now however when I go pick up a burrito or sandwich from the deli near here in the US the counterman call me Senor and even ask "para llevar"? Then when I answer in my broken Spanglish they go back to English
