How do you think the embassies, consulates or airport immigration officers of other countries you may apply for visa to or visit will feel about your Thailand overstay stamp? You might be in for a surprise the attitude other countries take towards overstay. Unless one applies for the Thailand Elite programme it does not appear Thailand Immigration really cares about short overstays. I would never overstay on purpose. How about changing your flight and leaving two days early?

20 plus years ago I filled out the online pilot application to Emirates based in the so-called "tolerant" UAE. In the personal details section there was a drop down window to select one's religion. I don't remember if it had none or atheism, probably not, but the drop down included every religion I have ever heard of to select. From Buddhism to Christianity to literally Zoroastrianism. Every Single Religion. Except one.
