How about the funny insurance scheme that has less than 1% of premiums payed out for treatment? Must be a good business...

Who's actually pocketing that money?
There still going to make money at 8000.00 baht.
Thais are always trying to rob you blind. It doesn't matter if you're a foreigner or a Thai.
So greedy!
Thats why Phuket was declining even before COVID-19.
Last Saturday my condo was hosting rapid antigen testing for all residents at 250 baht per person. So I'd safely say these tests being applied to incoming tourists are (subsidy or not) WAY OVER PRICED!!!

Curious why you'd go on holiday to the Philippines, the beaches perhaps, or the food?
A fews reasons...
1) The beaches
2) I had never been there before
3) My hotel and airfare were free (as most of my travel is)

Really? Do you really want to invest here? This country is and always has been run by scammers, liars and thieves. We all see the daily flip-flops and corruption. What makes you think for one minute that somewhere down the road the rules around this (like everything else) won't change and you will literally be screwed? All decisions here are made on some military general's whim and there's absolutely nothing and I mean nothing you can do about it.
What's the next major world-wide crises that will have all the borders closed and you are stuck outside of the country? I had just returned to Thailand from holiday in The Philippines when all the doors around the world were slammed shut. I live in Thailand, rent a condo and have money (not all) in a Thai bank. So many people were and still can't get back to their homes in Thailand yet.
Personally it's not the right choice for me, but for other's it is the right choice for them. All I am trying to say is that it would be wise to think long and hard before making any decision one way or the other.

The only downside is the resolution, looks OK on a phone, tablet, meh on a larger PC screen and unwatchable on a large screen TV.
I'm using an LG 43 inch smart TV and the resolution is really great! Anything larger than that I can't say for sure.

Agreed, have no idea what possesses someone to do such a thing, it just seems so stupid and petty and shortsighted. First of all, you kill someone, or in this case two persons, which is a horrible crime in and of itself. Plus you ruin your own life, when you get caught you go to prison for a very long time.
Just walk away and find another girlfriend, how hard can that be?Spot on!!!

You can go here https://ustvgo.tv/ and watch for free, many of the 94 channels don't require a VPN. I watched the Monday Night football game (Ravens @ Raiders) for free (no VPN) on ABC this morning ????

I honestly don't understand why... I have broken up with every Thai woman I have ever dated or lived with for a variety of reason, and happy to be rid of them and move on to the next. I would never waste my time hunting them down for any what-so-ever because there are so many other Thai women to move on to ????

... the vaccination rate in Europe is 70-80%, Thailand 15%.
To play in Thailand as a foreigner, you must be fully vaccinated and have a negative PCR test before your trip.
Is this not enough? Would fully vaccinated foreigners further aggravate the infection? Absolutely NOT!
The tourists are fully vaccinated to 100%, Thais in the tourist areas to 70% (I have my doubts).
Which group is most at risk of spreading the infection? The answer is simple, Thais.
The tourists do not contribute to spreading the infection. If you are fully vaccinated you do not pose a problem. If fully vaccinated were a problem, the world would never be able to open up.
AND drop the stupid $100,00 USD scam Covid-19 insurance!!!

My God I love this stuff!!! I have looked for it too in Bangkok but I am unable to find it as well. I know Foodland periodically gets items such as this imported, but nothing is ever regularly stocked. Personally I like the red beet horseradish which goes great with ham or polish sausage and hard boiled eggs ????

What's a negative nelly? I know what facetiousness is even without using Google. I know what Google is, I started using it before 95% of the world knew about it.
There was nothing negative about what I said at all - I was merely stating a fact in response to your implication that everyone should get vaccinated (please forgive me if that is not what you were trying to imply). I happen to disagree, but I do feel it is a matter of choice - not your choice - whether I or anyone should get vaccinated or not. I'm fully capable of making that decision and of living with the consequences of it.
I don't consider myself an anti-vaxxer per se, I believe it should be a person's choice to vaccinate or not vaccinate - I do not intend to in the foreseeable future, but that doesn't mean I won't change my mind at some point.
It's your choice to drink too much, just as it is mine (I do sometimes). Perhaps I'll even do so this afternoon, that's my choice also. If I do, I promise I'll do my best to not go on TVF and say something inflammatory to someone I might deem to be an idiot - BTW, I'm not implying that you are one.
Whether you think I'm being facetious or not, I'll leave that up to you.
Nothing but useless babble on your part over something that was meant to be funny and taken that way by everyone BUT you. You have some serious issues... 555

All in one glass - gotta try that!
Back in the early 70's we called it "jungle juice". And believe me, when you chugged a 12 ounce glass it came back up quicker than it went down!!!

And…it’s our choice to do so or not, isn’t it?
Are you being a negative nelly or do you not realize when someone is speaking facetiously? If you don't know what that means, try using Google...

It was then pointed out to you by myself and others that this forum is tailored to expats and foreigners with an interest in Thailand and other ASEAN nations.
So if there's anyone with a reading comprehension issue it's you BobinBKK, not us.
And yes, this site is going stale. People ask questions and everyone has different points of view. Then miserable hacks like you come along and start arguments because people think differently than you.

I know what the question was and I know what I asked. If you fail to comprehend that, it's not my problem. You can spin it all you want and it still doesn't change the question, period!!!

So tell me... Just how do they plan on telling us "white folk" and "every other ethnic group" apart that actually live here on the various 1 year extensions available from the "actual tourists"?
