There's no need for a risk assessment. The PM has said...there will be no floods on his watch...

Darwinism at its best. Long may it continue. My thoughts are with those on the train.

I admit to voting undecided. I own nothing here. Nothing in My name, but live in a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom so the floor house in the middle of nowhere in Isaan all owned by the wife.
If it all goes tits up, nothing to pack, no fees, no selling...hotel first then back to where I was born, or perhaps northern Italy, Cyprus is nice too. Skiing in the Troodos mountains then sunbathing on the beach....
I would, however, be interested in people's reasoning behind their vote. A condo building full of non-native Thais, or 49/51 split...

Why keep money here, not working for you, when the money can be kept elsewhere, working, and have a good rate of return.
It's not just the 400,000 or 800,000 baht, it's money in addition to this too, for at least 5 months. If you use it, you still have to top it up.
How you comply with the financial regulations is up to you. But calling people meanies, when they don't want to do the money in bank system, is not right, and you should apologise.

That's why you should always print off your Wise receipts and take them along too. You can match both outgoing funds to Wise and Wise to incoming funds to the Thai bank. Highlight them all. I ring mine with blue pen and sign them all. I have never needed them yet, but then I'm an ex Boy Scout....3 weeks.

The over-riding cause of these accidents however must surely be due to lack of adequate training.
Drink... My bil died Thursday morning. On a motorbike with side car. Drove away from a 5 minute visit to our house sponging for money, <deleted> on white whiskey. Never got in the house, wife sent him packing.
Apparently what happened was, he was approaching a sharp left corner, on a narrow concrete road, just after a small village. Another biker was coming the other way, they swerved to avoid each other and bil ran off the road. No one saw the accident. The 'other' biker didn't stop. But this is what appears to have happened, by all reports of those who may or may not have been there, or may have seen it but are keeping quiet, or not so quiet.
No power poles, no trees, no missing 300,000 baht. Oh, and this was around 08:30...am.

Thai netizens fierily debate Pfizer vaccine for students as anti-vaxxers emerge...
is there such a word as fierily?

Even if they're saying that a vaccine is dangerous and "genocide" with no evidence?
Evidence..schmevidence. People believe what they want to believe. Take a look at ivermectin.

Perhaps If you wait long enough, you won't have to worry about long term affects...

Must be some really smart guys in the Royal Thai Navy! Hopefully they don't have to fight a war in the future.
To be used as water cannon at the next protest...
And next Year, there will be yet another drought. Joined up thinking.. No chance.

Of course they would drop the charges. It never happened. Trust me. Just like the Red Bull Boss thing, never happened. No corruption to see, move on.

Good grief. He orders that the copper is looked after?
showboating at the highest level.
let us know the calibre of the bullet recovered from the copper's skull/brain. You never know where it may have come from. Blue on blue, or friendly fire is not unheard of.

Don't be so sure...you may consider that you are irreplaceable, but, believe me, you are most certainly not.
In my view, any school that fails to take appropriate measures to safeguard the health and welfare of staff and children in their care should be closed immediately.

This is not about death rates or infection rates. This is about counting people. How many people in Phuket?
467,587 or 547,584...?
79,997 people found...? Hmm, I know someone somewhere else who would have been happy to have found that number of people last year...

So, the neighbour's houses were not affected, but they still attacked the occupant of the house that burned down. I am afraid this accurately reflects what I have seen over the years. No excuses needed to get <deleted> at any time of day, and there is always underlying violence, waiting for a hint of an excuse to break out.
It is reported it was a burning cigarette, but it could easily have been a gas cooker left on, or an open fire, or candle, as I have seen in some of these hovels. Fire traps, one and all.

<deleted> all to do with me, boys, but just to let you know, you'll be flooded out soon. Especially as we are building high walls around historic sites to send the excess water your way.
Oh, by the way.. We won't be building levees and walls along the rivers to protect you, any time soon.

More <deleted> donations? What is wrong with this government? No shame? 3rd world underdeveloped country? No, it has its own Pharma businesses.. What are they doing?
100,000 and 346,100 doses are a spit in the ocean on what is needed. Give the doses to those countries who have no pharmacy industry, Shame the government here.
Could, should double vaccination become an entry visa and renewal requirement
in COVID-19 Coronavirus
Posted
There is no requirement to show proof of vaccination for measels, mumps, polio, rubella or any other vaccinations I had as a child. There is also no requirement for proof of a flu vaccine, Hep A or B, pneumococal, HPV.
Requiring proof of covid vaccination will be burdensome on all sides, and there will likely be limitations on the vaccination brand and country in which it was given. If only the world had one single standard and accepted all vaccinations approved, temporarily or not, but the World Health Organisation.
