What happened when one of the world's richest men bought the 2020 election?
Musk wasn't there then... Oh, you mean Mr Trump. He's a pawper in comparison to Musk.

I've always found Thailand to be very uptight about alcohol consumption. Binge drinking is not a normal way of life like it is in western countries. Yes there are people getting drunk at bars on weekends, but society is far less alcohol oriented here than in the west. Tourist areas revolve around alcohol, and Thai people who hang around in tourist/expat areas, are often drinkers. But in normal Thai towns it isn't the norm, and being drunk is quite taboo here.
You want to come and look around the village in which I stay. Drunkenness is not a taboo here, it's an expectation...

Where is the logic in that? Thankfully it's GLOBAL norms they're looking at.
There are no global norms.

Constitutional Amendment:
In the 1886 case Ex parte Garland, the (US Supreme) Court referred to the President’s authority to pardon as unlimited except in cases of impeachment, extending to every offence known to the law and able to be exercised either before legal proceedings are taken, or during their pendency, or after conviction and judgment.

Yeah, but that's case law, or 1 interpretation of a clause in the constitution. It all depends on the color of the court, as can be seen in recent years.

He knows how to butter up. Nothing if not flexible and the inevitability of being targeted seems to have focussed Meta's strategy going forward. All for the greater good, of course...

You understand nothing of what a landlord can and can not do in the uk.
So no, not a valid question. just a stupid assumption by you.
Come on then, what can a landlord do in this situation , given the length of the tenancy and time frame of the
incident.
Come on, lets hear it.
As for spelling and grammar. up yours.
I know exactly what a landlord can and cannot do in the UK.
As for your final comment, I need say nothing.

Well I suppose so, he has made an awful lot of money (much of it off the American government) and has used it to buy himself into a place in the American government.

Ok, I was right. your not a landlord in the uk and never have been.
it was you who, mentioned the landlord.
As a landlord, in the uk, if the tenant pays the rent and looks after the property
There's not much you can do. about anything.
What rules of the tenancy have they broken in your view ?
And what should a landlord about it, in your view. ?
This was you below.
Ok, we won't get into spelling and grammar and the abuse of the English language at this point.
You make an assumption about whether or not I'm a landlord. Perhaps I am, perhaps I'm a tenant or house owner. I consider the question as valid.
Checking the renting checklist: Be considerate to the neighbours. Antisocial behaviour may be a reason for your landlord to evict you.
Does that not make the question valid?

The Hamas terrorists who attacked the festival goers and the kibbuzim wanted to do their hateful acts to hurt and kill some Israelis , because they hate all Israelis .
That was never meant to be an attack on the state of Israel itself .
You know Hamas' intent? You can state without equivocation that this was not an attack on the State of Israel? I
Hate all Israelis means the State of Israel... Does it not?
If representatives or members of a foreign terrorist organisation killed a relative or friend of mine in my country, I would expect the government of my country to strike back so that said organisation could never do such a thing again. But that's just my opinion...

Perhaps Mr Starmer should try a couple of shifts in McDonald's, get a glimpse of the work they do there.

Where was the landlord in all this? What visas were these people on? Is this an example of keeping your friends close and your enemies closer?
You're not in China now, Toto....

I agree with your objection to 'workplace bullying' and with your last statement, but what should we do about people who wear a USA flag pin on their lapel or a cross or Star of David on a necklace in the workplace? Where do you draw the line?
A flag pin of the person's nationality is fine, religious symbolism, within reason is fine. The workplace has the authority to dictate dress standards, though, as long as there is no perceived discrimination.
a friend of mine is Sikh and wears the kara, the metal bangles. He has to take them off for work, or make them invisible to others at work by tucking them up the sleeves of his sweater...

As long as the wearing of the Palestinian flag colors by the BBC is just an ENCOURAGEMENT, I see nothing wrong with this. If, however, there is some attempt to PERSUADE or ORDER their employees to wear these colors, I am against it. Employees should be allowed to express their own political opinions on matters like these but should not be compelled to do anything like this by their employers.
Outside of the work environment, yes. Freedom of expression and all that. Whilst at work, no.
Political opinions have no place at work, unless that's what you're paid for.

Correct. Are you saying that Harold should be referred to as being Anglo-Saxon, not English. If you are I don't agree.
England, I suppose, didn't exist before the Angles arrived. Hence the name. Everywhere I look, Harold is referred to as Anglo-Saxon... Perhaps English is Anglo-Saxon and complaints about the monarchy being of 'German' origin comes under the heading of, who cares. All English are German...

Use your common sense and go look at the internet and see how the Civil List is funded. Compare the Civil List funding to a salary.
Household staff will carry out his cleaning requirements. Charles pays the household staff from the Civil List and they buy stuff from the high street where VAT is charged. Therefore Charles pays VAT!
Sovereign Grant Act 2011 superseded the Civil List Act 1837 and it all gets way too complicated for me.

.
One does not need to fight in wars when one serves.
In fact, the armed forces should not need to fight, just be prepared to if it comes to it. But that's a philosophical viewpoint, away from award of medals. From the King flows all honours. He is the Sovereign.
