I am sure many would support Trump to negotiate an end to this war if they thought he would do so in good faith and to support the western standpoint BUT he has displayed an amazing empathy for the invading Russians and total betrayal of the opinions of other western powers supporting Ukraine. I read an interesting article that Turkey has reached out to both Russia and Ukraine to attempt to solve this matter. Turkey has shown total independence throughout this war by supplying arms to Ukraine while still maintaining a relationship with Russia, quite a unique scenario. He does not appear fazed by Trump, his DEI appointment Hegseth who displayed his brilliance prior to the first meeting held in an arab state and that excluded Ukranian representation.

This fentanyl issue raised by the US is a smoke screen. The previous trade pacts were negotiated by Trump with both Mexico and Canada. At the time Trump bragged how wonderful these trade pacts were obviously negotiated by a masterful tactician like himself. The only way for these trade pacts can be altered is by declaring a state of emergency and hence the master negotiater Mr Trump did this by accusing both Mexico and Canada of these being so evil as to create criminal activity in the USA. I am sure that both requirements apply only to Thai. A thai must show tax returns for last three years and pay B5,000. A non thai will have to show passport I would think. Be like queuing at immigration at the airport, bizzare.

I am sure this would have been in checked in luggage, quite bulky for carry on and open to much more scrutiny via transit through Singapore. Her check in luggage would have been picked up at final destination and at best in Singapore maybe only an explosive trace test. Check in luggage is analysed by xray machine and only if outside parameters preset in xray machine would it come up for further scrutiny by security staff. It is highly unlikely her bag would have been scrutinised if it only held clothes, sheets and drugs in Bangkok. However at final destination could have undergone secondary screening and dogs prior to going on luggage carousel and she could have been chosen for inspection exiting immigration area.

Yes, be very aware when buying through Lazada. I supposedly bought a Lenovo Thinkpad that had been reduced in price and then advised there was a short delay as had to come direct from Lenovo factory. Result was I got some crap no brand laptop that I replaced by going to a local vendor and buying the genuine article. I am aware I could have returned laptop through Lazada but while it was in transit I needed to make an urgent trip overseas for several weeks and they would not do so after my return. Lesson learnt will never buy larger ticket item through Lazada as in reality this was total deception by the vendor.

The 100ml liquid container size was implemented several years ago when a group of muslim terrorists located in I think London booked airtickets on five seperate flights to the USA. Their strategy was to get drink containers and they drilled a hole in the bottom of the container so as not to tamper with the seal at neck of bottle which they were then going to refill with an explosive mix. They were at a very advanced stage in their planning and this was only thwarted at a very late stage. They would obviously carry the other required items like power source and timers seperate from the drink container and assemble at a later stage. Olmate you appear to have a very prejudiced view of NZ - Aust travel. It has been many many years since a reciprocal agreement of travel by either country did not require a passport. Australia did deport some NZ criminals some of whom had lived and grown up in Aust. nearly all their life (501`s I think called). NZ did not deport criminal australians and there are a lot more australians living in NZ than you would think. It was reported on AN some time ago police had raided an accountants / solicitors office in Patong (cannot remember which) investigating similar and is within time frame of date on documents produced in this instance. It is my belief that Thai Immigration do not enforce incoming traveller to have six months remaining on there pp. Could anyone endorse this fact for me. I recently received my new Non O renewal that coincided with the expiry date of my pp and I was aware of this fact and it was only a difference of ten days so did not concern me. It is my intention to renew this pp in the near future but would be more convenient to do this at a later date because of current overseas travel plans. I am aware of issues with airline check-in staff overseas.

I am not american and do not vote in their elections but I am appalled that this man can be eligible to be elected to the POTUS. I do not think I have ever seen or heard of such a despicable character to be considered eligible for such a position. To me the barometer for Trump in his term as POTUS was the people he employed to support his term in office but to be then discarded in the most offensive terms. But you then read the comment of very senior people that were part of his inner circle and very seasoned diplomats and of two I recollect describe him as totally unworthy and incapable of being an effective POTUS. Being the holder of a passport from two different countries and having used both to enter Thailand due to being in either country at different times and wanting to apply for a visa to enter Thailand. On the assumption that gran had more than one child and your partner is not the only grandchild but she (you both) is giving B2,000 then gran must be living a very good life assuming there are other daughters, sons, grandchildren who have left school if all contributing a minimum of B2,000.
