  1. No, I just post facts. Opinions mean nothing, and if you don't believe medical journals, then live your life on opinions. Fear mongering? STD's happen, daily, and here a very high amount happen. People die from them, and get things they can't get rid of. Could happen with anyone. First time, fifteenth time, but eventually you will get at least one if you're buying women. As far as everyone you know not having something, people lie, exaggerate and avoid. That's what they do.
  2. How many people in Thailand do you know that don't?
  3. You don't have to pay anything more than taking care of them after you're married. Extortion only works if you let it happen. It's still a choice we make if you fall in love. And it's still a choice if you want to stay with anyone who's manipulating you. No woman alive is worth anything unless they are a faithful, loving, caring, and trustworthy partner. The rest just give the others a bad name.
  4. Mai pen rai is how so many get away with so much here, yet it's used daily with everything under the sun. It will never happen to me is how so many get sick with diseases also.
  5. You really don't understand do you? If you did more research and didn't post on topics you don't know anything about, you would not look like you do.
  6. All Buddhist. Guess you don't get out much
  7. Guess you also forgot her nickname, Hanoi Jane, and why she got it. Kamala is a proven entity and would be a good president, and her being elected would get Trump and his disturbed thinking out for good.
  8. Posted a clip online of assault against her mother is enough to arrest and prosecute. I hear about this happening a lot, and not much is ever done until it escalates and someones dead. Disrespect for women here runs rampant and it's glorified on daily lakorns. It's a fathers job, if he's actually around, to teach respect for women, but in a culture that looks at women as inferior, this point will never get across and this will go on and on.
  9. Denial is the easiest way for people to let bad things happen..........https://www.webmd.com/sexual-conditions/antibiotic-resistant-std-faq.
  10. Exactly, and many are carriers of especially genital herpes, which doesn't go away and 1 in 4 have it............https://www.lumahealth.com/sexually-transmitted-infections-sti-and-sexual-health/
  11. A few, as have many of my acquaintances, who have told the same stories. All over the US, and never have I seen anyone pointing at anyone calling them Asian, African, German, Brit, etc etc etc. There are prejudiced people everywhere, but that pointing out at foreigners and calling them "foreigner", I've never heard of anywhere else besides here. Point is, we have been here for those decades, so we aren't foreign to anyone here unless they have never left their village and don't know we have lived here for a long time. It isn't only the children, who I understand are just repeating what they've been taught, but adults who walk by and make comments. I live near a big city , where at least 100 foreigners live in or near, so we are seen on a daily basis, and have been for all those years. I walk past, and they just have to say "farang". Ignorance, period. I lived near NYC for 30 years, and have never seen anyone point at any other person of any nationality and call them foreigner. If you live here, you're a resident, even if it's considered temporary because of visa issues. We still live here, year after year. Thais are foreigners to me, even though I'm living in their country, but I don't point at them and call them foreigner, neither ere or when I'm back home in the US. It's a matter of respect that's not taught.
  12. It isn't racist but ignorant, pointing at foreigners as if they've never seen us before like some kind of alien. Seems to only happen here.
  13. With a genius level IQ I'm pretty sure they weren't that ignorant. Yours on the other hand are suspect, as most of your replies are pretty close to ignorant or just plain stupid, which shows you didn't learn restraint nor respect as a child. Seeing you completely missed the point is also habitual.
  14. Very annoying and disrespectful. A day doesn't go by when picking up my daughter from school that I don't hear "farang," "farang" from the kids there. Their ignorant parents taught them this. This after foreigners have been here since the Vietnam war era. Thais are foreigners to us but we don't go around pointing at them yelling "farang", nor do we do it when we see Asians in America.
  15. You'll find the same here in increasing quantities. And also find women tight as a drum that have had children in America. Here, most older men go after much younger women. Women in their 20's look good in every country. Difference here is that many here will go with older men because of their assets, whereas in the west they are more independent and not feel the need to go with older men to take care of them. Subtracting the gold diggers of course.
  16. Yes, in science there is always a doubt. In reality, there are things that are proven facts.
  17. Yes, some people have their own opinions and are prone to argue what are proven facts, but that's their deal. A person can grow up in a situation where all they hear is certain music being played, and might like it, but since they haven't been exposed to other types of music, this is all they know. When they grow up being surrounded by all kinds of music , like I and millions of others have growing up in developed countries, we are attracted to what we like, and don't go by what others say. There will always be sheep that follow others for one reason or another, but with all the media available these days, there will always be more options to listen to, and more things to be attracted to. I have friends from way back in the early 70's that still like what they listened to back then, while I have searched out a lot of other music all these years and have become very eclectic. They weren't influenced by culture but by personal preference, along with everyone else I've known all my life. People like things they are exposed to because they like them, are attracted to them, or like how they look or taste. Thinking people like things because they are part of a particular culture is narrow minded. People might be exposed to a certain culture, like Thai, and like it because they took part in some of it, like the women, food or music. It's still attraction after the fact.
  18. Again, culture has nothing to do with a person's choices. Personal preference is what people go by. Women as an example. I think Thai women are among the most beautiful worldwide, but there are Blacks, Whites, Filipinas, Latinas, Irish, Hawaiian, Italian, and mixes of these that are as beautiful. The same with music. The best musicians and bands are definitely from America, Germany, Scotland, England, and Canada, although there are some from other countries and no one bases their preferences on location but the music itself. Culture is man made. Attractions aren't choices but just happen. As far as Erin Burnett, she is pretty but hardly at the top. I've dated better looking women many times. Some of the prettiest have already been mentioned, but there are women I've seen in villages here that would give them a run for their money, and without the makeup many celebrities use.
  19. Actually an exact answer. The majority of chickens countrywide are free running, meaning they go wherever they want. This is also true of the dogs countrywide, which is a major problem and is being dealt with by spaying and neutering many of them. Only problem is that this has to be funded by the government and stepped up on a major scale to do some good, as people here rarely care about their animals and allow them to roam freely everywhere, without having them fixed. I don't blame dogs for being dogs. If there were actual laws like they have back in the US, dogs wouldn't be allowed to roam in many places and must be kept in the yards. This will never happen here because again, not many care. This is also not like the country areas in the states, where people do keep many of the poultry in houses at night because of the coyotes, and are a lot more likely to train their own dogs to not kill the birds. A sling shot might chase a dog away, but he'll be back when you aren't there, which means at night.
  20. As do brown nosers, the prejudiced and those who's only agenda is arguing just for the sake of.
  21. All depends on what you're training for. For strength and muscle building, you use moderate to heavy weights 8-10 reps upper body, 12-15 lower. For endurance you can go to 12-15 and 15-25. Tone will come from all weight training, or resistance exercises as long as your body fat is low. My mistake is I lifted too heavy for too long, and hurt my joints. If I knew what was coming, I wouldn't have lifted so much weight and instead just stayed with the 8-10 and 12-15 reps routine. No matter the routine, you need days off to just walk and rest. Working out too much leads to stress and some get sick by lowering their resistance. I can't tell you how many times I saw many bodybuilders with colds and coughing because they were in the gyms everyday.
  22. Music choice is personal preference, no matter the culture. I like Mexican music, Flamenco, African and World music and others. I base my friendships on what I listed, and it has nothing to do with where they come from or nationality. America is the same as it ever was in most ways. Media brings news to us a lot more than before. Your culture is American, and you cannot escape that. Aliens are people, like you, that move to other countries. I am looking forward to moving back to the US, as it has everything anyone could want, from everywhere on earth.
  23. Higher reps build endurance and hardness of the muscles. Lower reps, higher weight builds muscle and more strength. Working out too much or everyday that way will break down muscle and you'll look like long distance runners. Body needs rest plus intensity.
  24. This means you can't be friends unless they think just like you. That if they like music other than what you like, they aren't worthy of being your friend. I like most all music, besides rap, hardcore and most soulless pop. This has nothing to do with what my friends like, as they have their own minds and desires, which have nothing to do with me. They are my friends because we can relate of one topic or another, or share some common interests. Some don't like some of my music and that's okay. I'm turning my girlfriend here onto music she would never be able to enjoy otherwise because of my eclectic tastes and the amount of music I have. She likes Thai music and I really don't, seeing that they try and copy western pop and their language doesn't correspond well with a lot of western style instrumentation. I do like some Thai music, mostly instrumental. I grew up near NYC and heard old R&B all that time, and still love it now. It's much better than modern day R&B. Yes, I can be close friends with anyone who listens to music other than what I like, if we have other things in common.
  25. Tell them, during their driving tests, that they will be fined if they break the laws.Maybe they will think about this, knowing if they break any laws, their money will be taken from them. This might get through to those who aren't well off and don't care about breaking the driving laws, that they might not have enough money for food. This is a lesson learned. If we wear helmets, don't speed, drink while driving, cut people off in traffic, have a license to drive, and not let under aged children drive, we will be able to eat our meals and live to enjoy them.
