Woman assaulted in Bangkok gym after rejecting man’s advances (video)
fredwiggy replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
No, most activity here is teenagers who aren't drunk but were never taught respect for life, and that you don't attack another person 5, or more, against 1. It isn't disconnected because all of this involves anger. I just made an example of anger not involving drugs, which a lot of it is. Some, again, said this was about a man on steroids, which no one knows. Anger doesn't need steroids and that's my point. People get angry everywhere, all day, every day, since time began, for many reasons, most of which are not justified but related to jealousy, greed or unrealistic expectations. Many get angrier because of steroid, drug or alcohol use. "Certainly people can get angry without drugs of any type but that isn't the typical angry reaction of someone that's just mad." I'm guessing what you mean by this is that his action wasn't because he's just mad. Of course it could be. I've seen people go haywire not under any influence but because of past experiences that fueled that anger. Most people have reason to have anger in their lives from their past history. Most people have been treated bad in their lives by someone. How they react when someone pushes them to their limits is what matters. Some can turn the other cheek most every time someone hurts them. Fact is, anyone can be pushed to a limit where they use violence to stop another. This man? We don't know the story. He might have had his girlfriend tell him they're through. He might have had a family member die or get real sick. Someone might have poisoned his dog the day before. He might be using steroids and this might have been the edge that made him lose control. Or, he might be a loose cannon that is also a narcissist, who has a short fuse and loves to hurt others because he was hurt as a child, and likes to vent that anger on anyone who would dare cross him, for any reason. In any event, what he did was wrong, assault, and he should be arrested. -

Only one God, the rest are graven images and false gods people thought about because they were also missing something in their lives. Buddha was a man, and people praying to him are breaking commandment's one and two. Buddha himself didn't discredit there might be a God, he just didn't have any use for him, although he created everything, including the lineage that led to his parents. Buddha also has followers, who also don't believe in God because Buddha, a man ,said there wasn't a need for one. Just as Hitler, Stalin, Lenin, Putin, Kim Jong and others have followers that listen and believe every word, we as Christians follow our God. Some are making grave mistakes, and all will find out when they die. -

How do you know about Jesus teachings if you think there isn't a God? Grew up being taught and lost faith along the way because? By the way, God is real and you will meet him,as we all will someday. -

Yes, but God doesn't want us to be victims and knows we have to defend ourselves, just like the Jews did against the Amalekites, with his blessing. I would never hurt an innocent person, especially intentionally, but would not hesitate if it was my family. Millions of people think exactly like i do, but keep it to themselves or haven't been caught. I know what Jesus taught, and it's all right, but evil must be eliminated. If it wasn't, again, we would be under Nazi or Japanese, or Taliban reign. Free will, narcissism, bad or absent parenting, and mental illness make this an unsafe world. People don't like an unsafe world. -

Okay, to settle this. No man hits a woman for any reason besides defending a life. If anyone is in the act of hurting a child, you use any force necessary to stop them, including deadly if it comes to that. Anyone who intentionally kills a child, meaning planned murder, and is proven guilty, deserves to lose their freedom, permanently. Anyone who traffics children, hooks them on drugs and or fear, for sex slavery with human animals, deserves to die, if proven guilty. All those employed by him, the same, as it's for profit and people aren't slaves to anyone. Simple enough? Some people should not be on earth, just like the perp who recently shot a 10 year old girl here. Find them, public hanging. Public intimidation and execution will stop a lot of crime.. Yes, as Christians we are not supposed to judge, but this world is far from normal and safe, and only be eliminating the evil will the innocent prosper. -

And like the previous poster said, "Intimidate by shooting at a group of young children??? If intimidation was the intention, he could have shot into the air. He knew what he was doing. String the POS up". Very easy to understand this. If you are trying to scare people, you shoot into the ground or air, the ground being the only safe method because bullets into the air have to come down somewhere, and people die every year from revelers doing this. And again, you stick up for locals, no matter what they do. -

Earlier someone had said he must be on steroids. I sad, you don't have to be on steroids to have rage, and gave the example, look at the people here that are ganging up 5 against 1, armed with sticks, and they aren't on steroids. Of course I meant that it doesn't take using steroids to have anger, and all humans are capable of violence if pushed too far, or just by their nature will be violent against others. I wasn't deflecting but giving an example of anger without drugs. -

You cannot tell if a person of his size is doing steroids. I was about his size, and more muscular, meaning ripped, and I never took any. You cannot really understand what weight lifting does if you aren't into it, because a lot of people assume people who have big muscles are on something. Yes, we do have pictures from the past, when I was just starting training, people like Arnold, Frank Zane, Franco Columbo, who all took performance enhancing drugs. If you're referring to Steve Reeves time, yes, they were smaller and didn't use steroids.I had 6% body fat from age 20 to around 55. Now it's a little higher because I don't, for now, work out like I did before, and eat too much rice here. I could get back to that body fat percentage easily but I couldn't have the muscle size I had before because I'm 67 and it isn't possible without using at least HGH. I personally know many people that never used and who are as big as him, and more ripped. -

You said, "what if you couldn't stop her without hurting her". I said earlier violence isn't necessary against a woman. I'm guessing you don't have any children because to protect them, and any other innocent people in the world, sometimes, as wars have proven, violence is necessary. I guess you didn't understand, like the other fellow, that I meant in any other situation besides saving a child, a woman does not have to be hurt but deflected in a self defense way if she's coming at you. She still doesn't have to be hurt if she doesn't keep coming at that child . To save a child, if a woman is bent on hurting them, and you can't deflect her away, you can call it violence if she has to be shoved to the ground so you can walk away with that child. I would call it necessary to do whatever you have to because a child's safety is more important than someone bent on hurting them. -

That isn't overweight by anything besides a height and weight scale, which like all the others besides one that takes into account body fat percentage, isn't accurate. -

No, you figure that out, unless of course you don't have any children, because people who don't , don't get it. -

That isn't a logical comparison because it wouldn't happen. Killing isn't cool by any means, but it's necessary to protect the innocent. Thinking otherwise means you favor the predator. Take the movies Taken and Last Blood for example. This kind of thing happens every day in a lot of countries, girls and boys being kidnapped for sex slavery. If this happened to any child, I would retaliate if I could. If it happened to my child, no one would walk away. Simple, as they aren't humans anyway and have no purpose on earth, and extermination is necessary to protect the innocents. Mai pen rai doesn't work in those situations. -

You need to read all of my posts to respond the right way . I'm not deflecting. I responded to someone who said this was a man on steroids having rage. I said it doesn't take steroids to make a person have rage, as I mentioned about people who gang up 5 against 1 being one example. If you read what I wrote, you'll see I'm against violence against women, using self defense if necessary to stop a situation from escalating. I know this man was an idiot. -
This from medical news is probably the best response........... Depression is a lifelong condition, as there is no cure. However, this does not necessarily mean that it will affect a person every day of their life. With the right treatment plan, remission is possible. The treatment plan may need adjusting throughout a person’s life. Depression is one of the most treatable mental health conditions. Between 80% and 90% of people with depression respond well to treatment, meaning that they see an improvement in their symptoms or the symptoms disappear. This means medicine can help treat the symptoms, although depression is a lifelong disease which can go into remission, as I have seen it happen many times with many people I personally know.

Then she would have to be hurt, but this isn't the same as hitting a woman because you're just pissed off at her or something. Self defense is justifiable anywhere. If not, who cares, because to save a child you do anything you need to. That means taking out anyone on earth with no regrets. -

This line is where you keep burying yourself,"At least for me there is no rule that whatever women do, guys can never ever react with violence". Violence is never necessary, and if you can do it by just pushing the woman away or bringing her to the ground without hurting her, that's self defense. If a woman was hurting my child, I would make sure she was stopped, but that still doesn't mean you have to slug her. You can control a situation unless of course the woman is stronger than you. In that case, you walk away or just block and move, and don't let her get her hands on you, as there are some really strong women out there. It's rarely a strong woman that gets into fights. It's usually the big mouth beatches that are also narcissistic, unstable and drunk that are the ones into fighting, so you avoid them. -

Bodybuilders aren't unattractive until they go overboard. Even then it's better than being overweight but they are doing it for their own reasons. Weight training is the best way to get into shape and being strong, along with swimming and cycling because they're resistance exercises. -

This is mainly due to the lack of fathers in households. A father missing and a boy doesn't have a role model besides his dopey friends, who are much in the same predicament. You see this when 5 go against 1 armed with sticks. This is a cowardly action because they cannot fight without being armed, in groups or kicking, and these aren't Muay Thai fighters. they kick because they don't want to hurt their hands. And, if a girl has no father present, or an abusive or neglectful one, she has only bad experiences to learn about how a man should act. And getting pregnant by a jerkoff that's going to leave is usually what happens here. No one is teaching them how to act like men or ladies. -

I've noticed many times you stick up for women being hit in a round about way. They lie, they aren't always the victim, let them be equal everywhere, etc, kinda like they deserve getting hit if they hit you. I agree that a woman who hurts a man or child deserves punishment, but jail is a better place to learn. Also the loss of money. But hitting them back is still the act of a coward and not a man. Believe me, my ex deserved something for what she did to me but I'm hoping karma does it's job. I see women fighting and they can get evil, but leave it to them. Whatever this woman said, it didn't warrant him throwing her to the ground. No matter what the story was, no. If she hurt his child physically, still better to see her in jail, because it's a good place for a child abuser to end up, for there is justice served. -

Many take them without doing a doctor visit and re evaluation periodically, and that spells dangerous. This is why I didn't think of it. I wanted to be as strong as possible without drugs. I was as strong as many of the steroid users, although they were bigger. I didn't want to think of the side effects many were getting, so I didn't do them. I have enough joint problems because of the extreme weights, I didn't need more. -

Veins close to the surface means low body fat. Everyone has the same type of body as everyone else, but those who work out have muscles that have responded to stress, which makes them grow bigger and stronger if proper nutrition and rest are also there. Everyone has a six pack but most aren't seen because of extra fat . I've had veins in my arms all the time, a little less now because the gym near me doesn't open until 2 PM and it's a little inconvenient, for now, but the veins come from exercise and low body fat, as you can see many skinny farmers here that are mostly muscle because of the long days, not a lot of food, and a lot of sun. I always get on my daughters and son about the tattoos, but they like them. -

Some go too far for the chance at a trophy, for being the most muscular. Of course this takes steroid use to compete, and that's their deal. Most bodybuilders don't compete. It has nothing to do with brain size or intelligence but desire to win. Just like athletes that use drugs for football, soccer, running or cycling. I lifted very heavy weights, especially for my frame, and am now paying the price with sore joints, but I still work out to stay strong and healthy, along with diet, which is 75% of what you look like. It isn't disfiguring your body to be muscular, as the opposite of this is obesity. Going too far is not needed. As far as tattoos, everyone in my family has them besides me and my 7 year old daughter. Even my dad had one. I don't know why they do, but it's up to them. It's not the same with women back in the US as it is here. Here, mostly bar girl types have them.
