Buying up land and property is about the best way to make money, especially if you have money to burn,and 14 million plus is money to burn, especially seeing most land and property investments pay off, some significantly. Like I said, why are there so many thousands of counselors psychologists and psychiatrists the majority of men are good to their partners? Why are there so many problems worldwide? The answer is, it starts at home. People learn most about how the world operates from age 0 to 5. After this, what they've learned becomes facts to them. Sheep to follow and conform but not to ask why, just to obey. Democracy surely helps, if it's in place. Some places people can vote, but the person is not put in. Control by narcissistic predecessors that don't want to lose the money flow. These as history shows, have mostly been men. men who's fathers didn't teach them right from wrong but only control to get the job done. The real truth about couples is only leaked out through what these psychologists, et al say, or by word of mouth, something we can't always trust. They try to get people to relate better, but more often than not, people slip back to their own characters and change becomes hard. Many men want to be better husbands, but were never taught how. Ask yourself, what do women mostly complain about. More money, more time spent with them and not watching sports on TV, more time spent with the children, a vacation every year and other places to go on weekends, a man that puts them first and doesn't look to other women for sex, doesn't hit them when they get angry, call them names, downgrading them. Do you actually think most men are good to anything? If they were, the world wouldn't have this much turmoil, with wars just around the corner is a handful of countries all the time. Dictators killing their own people. People making migrants slaves and sex workers for profit. This is a sick world that needs people to get together and get rid of the violence in society. This means electing leaders with a proven rack record and not just because they are handsome or rich. Having a government that doesn't have infighting, and getting rid of the corruption by jailing those into it. Harsher punishment for human traffickers, rapists and those that hurt children. Better education about sex for children so they don't have kids with morons that won't contribute. A court system that makes fathers responsible for the children they make, like the US and most other countries has. Enforcement of laws already on the book instead of looking the other way for a bribe. Again, this all starts at home, with responsible parents, and fathers that do the job, which many don't. There is plenty of evidence that fathers, and also mothers, aren't doing their jobs. Look around at the world.

I communicate very well in fact, and this I learned from childhood, being treated well by both parents who taught me love and respect for humans and animals. I also learned more by all that reading I've done over the years. If you can't see what's around you, then you can't blame me because you turn a blind eye to reality. You still don't understand that people can hide what they do out of your sight, as you don't live with anyone all the time besides your own family. I think, like I said, you nitpick what I write and concentrate on just one thing instead of looking at the whole post. Like the Thai men don't laugh, they just don't marry one that's been around. You don't realize this is a fact. They usually will not waste their time with a woman who's been married or has children, unlike foreigners. It doesn't mean never, but most of the time. Not good can mean many things. Not doing their share of the work around the house, not looking at them as an equal partner, putting their friends and hobbies in front of their wives, hitting them, abusive language, cheating, lying, not helping with the children, not providing for the family etc etc. There are levels of good and bad if you didn't realize this.

Thailand is not near a nanny state. It's quite the opposite in many ways. There are laws here that aren't enforced, and people die every day because of it. That's not caring. I didn't say the majority of men are abusive to women. You, along with many others, need to read the whole thing written, not nitpick, AND comprehend before you reply. i highly doubt you have read many of the authors of the books I have. It's usually women who are the readers, hoping they can somehow "change" their partners thinking. You can't. It's up to them. From birth to age 5 is the most important time of a persons life, where they learn most of what is really needed in life, and not having parents to do this is why we have so many people and not just men, hurting others intentionally. People get used to being taken for granted by their partners and think it's normal. Men think they are doing a good job because they pay for everything, all the while their wife complains you never spend any time with me. Why do you think there are thousands of psychiatrists and psychologists worldwide? Because the world is not a pleasant, loving, caring place where everyone gets along. It's a place where most people only look out for themselves and not care about others unless it somehow helps them. There are many people who are good, and they are treated bad by others, and it makes them jaded. I've read over 65 books and countless articles from many of the main psychologists, psychiatrists and counselors, Aaron Beck, Gary Smalley, Dr. Dobson, John Gray, Dr. Laura etc etc etc, people who have interviewed hundreds of thousands of couples in their practices, then wrote books on the subjects of marriage, relationships, depression, narcissism, how men and women relate etc. This is where , along with personal experience and listening to others, that I get my information from. I know how they are here and a country that allows men to get away with making babies and not paying for them much of the time is a country that's failing it's families and women. I know exactly what exists, but I think you have a blind eye to what happens around you. You think all of the men around you are good. Statistics say different. Many women hide what goes on in their homes so not to lose face. Your next door neighbor can be a serial killer, child molester or wife beater and you'd never know. They all have neighbors that think otherwise. It's true the majority of people around you might be okay, but what's okay? 5-6 out of 10 men cheat, maybe 3 out of 10 abuse, 5 out of 10 neglect their families in some way. That doesn't add up to what you say is around you. They don't have to be evil incarnate to be bad.Again, I have no disdain for anyone besides those that hurt women and children intentionally. The rich, who are the ones mostly responsible for climate change, cutting down millions of trees, are all making money on doing things which are hurting the environment. This has been happening for a very long time and our earth's had enough of it. If there were more like here, of course doing everything they can not to break the law, more people would be interested and get behind her to make changes. A lot of people just a decade or two back said there isn't any climate change but I saw this coming as soon as they started on the Amazon Basin. Besides this, over harvesting and wasting a lot of species of fish just to get a select few is hurting the ocean, and when that runs out, we're in deep doodoo. They're still hunting whales, which is an abominable practice by ignorants who only care about profit, and not what they're doing to the ecosystem. The protests here in this country are always shut down to stop talk about democracy. the rich elite want control, just as dictators do, and will kill to get those that protest quieted. They are scared of anyone who resists what they stand for. "When a leader speaks, that leader dies". a line from the Cult of Personality song. The government surely killed John Kennedy and may have been involved in others. The rich want to stay rich, along with their friends, and there's only a couple of ways to stop them from ruining the earth for the rest of us, although one way is quite radical. We only have one earth, and if they're allowed to continue the rape, it won't be here for our grandchildren. I think what she's doing, although it might come with some problems, is commendable. People are scared of her because they aren't wanting to change their way of living.

Again, i say it's impossible for you, or anyone else alive here, to not know "about", to clarify what I meant all along, any irresponsible local men. This means we see what they do, or others have told us the same. People we trust not to exaggerate greatly. I know many people aren't social and many rarely leave the house, listen or watch the news, have any friends, so that would explain someone who hasn't seen or heard about men who act badly. Many years before I even thought about moving here I knew how they act. Thais have told me, others who visited or lived here told me, and still do. A man a year ahead of me in high school used to live here, and after we re connected on FB, we talked about life here, and it's exactly like I mention. After I moved here, I saw this for myself. Again, I don't show a disdain for Thai men. I show disdain for bad men who act like I said. Certain nationalities are worse around children and women, and I mentioned these earlier. This is so, and not my opinion. I lived next to San Antonio for 32 years, and knew (know) many Mexicans. I know personally a few that are very good to their families, and I also know quite a few that I've seen treat women and kids harsh. This I heard about before I moved there, and I saw for myself afterwards. This again doesn't mean all but a majority. Most everyone knows about how certain Middle Eastern countries treat and look at their women. This again is truth. In those countries, I'm sure there are men that are good to their women but a culture raises you a certain way, and like here, where Buddhism looks at women as inferior, it is in their thinking, and will only change when other cultures are mixed for many years. I ask you again, you do not know any men here that are harsh to their women and children? Only those that are good? You've only heard stories? Then okay, you aren't associated with anywhere near the amount of people I am, because in all of my life, around and in many big and smaller cities and the country, I have friends and family who aren't the greatest dads or husbands, and everyone alive can say this, unless they are anti social and never leave the house. I have run across, known, and heard about many who are as I say, and none were my friends nor in my circles. Friends of friends, friends of family, co workers of same etc etc. Seeing that the average person associates with around 80,000 people in their lifetime, it's hard to think you only have heard about some of these., and none personally or through close family and friends.

Foreigners standing by foreigners only helps us. If a foreigner does wrong, no normal foreigner wants to see this because it makes us all look bad, to some narrow minded prejudiced types that only see us as a whole. The more we feed them, the more they think about it. I hate to see foreigners do anything wrong just for this reason.

It actually does apply to most men, in all countries, but again, I didn't say all men. It happens more here than most other countries because of the lack of enforcement of child support here. Men who think they can make babies all over and not pay for them lets them believe they can bed as many as they want and not pay the piper. Not just here but here, like I said, more children are raised by grandparents than any other country worldwide, and there's a good reason for that that I mentioned. You had said you lived here over 25 years and didn't see things like I mentioned. That to me was impossible because of course you see this happening. It's just that you don't associate with those types. neither do I, so our communication went sideways. No problem.

Corruption here far outweighs that in the US. Many cops in the US are power hungry narcissists that shouldn't be in their positions, just like all over, but corruption there is punished by internal affairs, because it gives police a bad name. Here they seem to not care, because even high ranking officials are involved, as we've seen for many years. Human trafficking gets away with it because officials are paid to look the other way. This isn't happening in the states because if it was, they would be penalized with extreme prejudice.

I'm not paranoid. I see things as they are. I abide by the laws, treated my ex right, and also my girlfriend now, and spend most of my money here, so they should be glad I and others like me are here. Talk is damaging, sometimes more than actions, and your, and others, continuous trashing of farangs isn't falling on deaf ears. This is a public forum, and only a moron would laugh at what you say, because it affects all of us. They have a hard enough time knowing what to do with farangs that break the laws, but letting that anger pass to the innocents is wrong. Think for awhile how many trash foreigners here. Thais read this forum. Then they tell others, who tell others, who might have connections to officials. They themselves see that farangs trash each other, so they must all be no good. I'm surprised this is getting by someone who's most likely at least in their 50's. It's bad enough they have someone like this who is prejudiced against foreigners, and doesn't realize the foreigners he hates, who live and visit here, have thousands of friends and relatives who might be thinking about visiting here, AND spending tourist money, that they will now slowly be losing. The more word is spread around how we are treated here, the more they lose, and the more Thais are targeted in those countries.

Bills get passed around all day long, and most of the people who receive them are innocents who received a bogus bill from someone and just passed it down the line.
