  1. And you don't realize that those "men" who have mi noi's aren't men but boys that haven't grown up enough to recognize the value of a woman? That they have children and don't do much if anything at all as far as teaching them the same values? Brainwashed by treating women right? As in feminism. Do you not understand woman's equality? What's tragic is that you actually believe your own bulls*it. And sadly, some others here do also. As far as Thai males thinking those that take care of children are jokes, it's them that are the real jokes. A man that doesn't lend a hand to help raise his own children is a complete wasted life. A woman cannot make a man out of a boy, and an absent father can't either. One reason so many treat women like they're some kind of inferior object is not having fathers that were men. They leaned it from their own useless fathers and generations here are affected by this illness. Women make the worse mistake of their lives having sex with these losers, and their kids suffer because of it.
  2. I met one online, a doctor, and came here to meet her. She told me to stay in a certain hotel, and guess who worked there? You look at a women that's very pretty, and speaks English also, and sometimes things happen. I should have stayed with the original girl. My mistake, but I created a beautiful child, and she's why I'm still here, until we can leave that is.
  3. And you are? Wait, you don't care either way, as long as you get yours right? I'm what's called an empath, meaning I care, and that gets you in trouble when you put your trust in women that turn out to be narcissists or very damaged in childhood.
  4. Along with the thousands that are still married, and working in restaurants they opened with their husband's help. I know of 7 personally in the San Antonio area who own restaurants that are doing extremely well. I've talked with many, both men and women, and they've told me they will never move back here because of the better living conditions in the US. There are some that might have scammed men into moving there and because prostitutes or just weren't good wives then were dumped, so they had to make do. Hard to tell if you don't actually know people personally, as most don't.
  5. Nothing to do with the little head but trusting the wrong woman. It wasn't a scam. She still lives in the same village but I'm in the house because I paid 100% for it. She wants to come back but I have no interest because when trust is gone, so am I.
  6. Obesity is catching up fast here for exactly that reason, and there are hundreds of thousands of great restaurants with food from all corners of the world there. Another thing you won't know unless you visit, or live there.
  7. I left to build a house for my now ex and our daughter. Being used, along with lied to etc, is why I'll be leaving asap with my daughter. I made a mistake moving here but she didn't want to leave her family, most of whom she can't stand.
  8. Better life, more opportunities, better pay, more things to do, treated better by men, not looked at as inferior. I never contradict myself.
  9. No one is used unless they allow this themselves. You've never been married, so how can you comment on what a relationship more than a few weeks means?
  10. You sound a lot ignorant, or you've never actually been to America, much less lived there for 62 years like i did. It isn't all millionaires. That's what Thais think. Wrong. Most people are just getting bay there also. It has great food, more variety of food, great beaches, mountains, lakes, resorts and a lot more to do than sitting inside hiding from the heat and sun. It's cheaper here, and that's about it. Isaan is about the most boring place on earth, and that takes in lot of Thailand. Yes, there are good things here, but a multitude more in the US.
  11. How many Thai women are actually happily married? In case you don't know a simple fact, most women will never know a true, real love in their lives, and almost no one will get it twice. Thai women do prefer their own kind, as shows in marriage statistics, but they aren't happy like you think they are. The Thai divorce rate has been climbing yearly, almost to 45% now. This means a lot stay unhappy also, just like everywhere else. A good man can understand any women if he wants to, even with the language barrier. Marrying someone that speaks none of your language isn't a smart idea, but anyone can learn if they want, although it is a barrier to a relationship, seeing communication is one of the most important things. It's true that most Thai men don't single women in bars. It's also true most Thai men don't want anyone who's had kids before them. Farangs are okay with this, as we think differently about children than they do here.
  12. Thai men left them because they could. The justice system doesn't make them pay for the children they make. Buddhists religion looks at women as inferior, something the men take to heart, especially if they've learned this false thinking all their lives. I never liked barmaids, preferring to find women (2) here in Isaan that were normal workers. They both worked, one in a hotel and the other in a tesaban. You, like you said, like to move on after you're had your fill, not wanting to get to know them better as humans but only using them for their bodies. I prefer a relationship that grows, and hopefully lasts.
  13. What's better? Anything they have here all other countries have, without the death rate on the roads, the inferiority thinking of women, climates where it doesn't rain for 5 months straight then dry for 5. What's to enjoy in Isaan besides drinking? The beaches are nice if you live near them, but that's also most everywhere that has beaches.
  14. I myself watch daily news, from here and all over the world, and my girlfriend does translate to me the daily Thai news . She also tells me how the men are here, what her girlfriends say, what her three girlfriends tell her about the US and Sweden, where they moved. She tells me how her friends here are treated, both by the locals and some by farangs. Look at the lakorns and you'll see a lot of what goes on here towards women, without the heroes installed in the shows.
  15. Yes, some do, and to live a better lifestyle.
  16. I'm for helping out decent women, and if you prefer to call it rescuing, so be it, because that's pretty much what we are doing if we're taking better care of them than they previously knew. And I'm thinking you don't know a thing about the US besides the bad news you hear, from not even going there. Facts are, almost all of the Thais that move there, and it's quite a lot, never come back here. There are reasons for that, and it's not all about money.
  17. And you and your clueless "friends" are making a mountain out of a molehill, because it isn't happening that much by farangs but daily by locals. I miss no points and see lies and made up stories for what they are. Brown nosing or farang bashing, especially towards nationalities other than your own. How do "we" all know about the high rates of farang alkies hitting their Thai hookers? Where is this news coming from? Again, 4 farangs hit women here, and of course it's newsworthy, but a few hundred locals doing the same to their hookers, girlfriends or wives and you'll see one on the news that might have killed her. I\ll never stick up for anyone hitting, abusing or taking advantage of a woman, and they need to be punished, but that also includes the majority of the male population that gets away with it daily.
  18. What you don't see, by your posts, is that at least some of us are taking care of Thai women here, while you go from one to another to another, using them and only seeing them as meat.A woman that's been with a Thai man that's left is the norm, and not a whore because she wants a chance at a better life with a farang, who usually has more money, is a better provider, the chance to leave a third world country for one that's better in almost all ways, a father figure for her children instead of a local who only stayed for the sex and didn't provide for the child he made, the chance for better schooling, and seeing their mom treated better has a more positive effect on their future than a dad that was never there. As far as your ridiculous post, as others have attested, daily abuse, rape, neglect and beatings happen to Thai women nationwide. Farangs get news because we are a tiny percentage of the population. You see it daily on the news, a tiny fraction of what goes on all over. For every story about a farang hitting his woman, there are a hundred about locals. You'll never see this on local news because there are only a few networks here and most of the news is about snakes, gold thefts, traffic accidents and people ganging up 5 against 1 hitting him with sticks . And not all farangs are old and fat. Some take up with women 35 years their junior and that's all about money, and it happens all over the world. Many are less than a 20 year difference and a lot of farangs take care of themselves and aren't all drunks. By now everyone on here knows what you think of women, and looking like you are somehow sticking up for them isn't what you're all about. Using women one after another is also abuse, and it lasts longer.
  19. Isaan lawyers have an English speaking attorney, along with translators. Based out of Korat but will travel, extra costs of course. There are many lawyers around. Siam is another. You and her will need to go to the amphur to sign. I'm thinking there are process servers here. If she doesn't agree on split 50/50 of marital assets, you'll need to see a judge, and having a lawyer helps. The house will go to her unless you fight for it and want to live in it meaning if you paid 100%, otherwise you could sell and split the profit. No kids no problem. I'm guessing your son is from a previous and since he lives alone that doesn't matter anyway. If you divorce and want to stay in Thailand, you'll need a retirement visa or work visa. Do you have any of her family that could give her your thoughts?

  21. Manufacturers know full well how addictive sugar and salt is, so they put as much as they can get away with without the food tasting cloying or too salty. People get addicted and then it's hard for them to stay away from the sugar. Sugars in the body need to be burned before stored body fat can be burned. That's why the keto works so well, at least as far as losing weight fast is. It's not a healthy diet long term as some think it is. Here, it's the extreme amount of rice they eat, along with the slowing down of metabolism as they age, the less work they do on the farm, the more sugar laden drinks they consume, along with the snacks. Kids here are given snacks like they are meals. The same happens in the US, where obesity has exploded this last century. here it will continue to rise, as it has been, and Thailand will be closing the gap on western countries where obesity and overweight people abound. I have to tell my ex wife and her family to stop giving my daughter so much crap, because she doesn't get but a smidgen here, and they know nothing of nutrition. Snacks are to appease the children if they complain about what you feed them, and it becomes a habit they win at. Parents give in too much. People can have a propensity to be overweight by genetics, but it's environment in those homes that ruins their chances of being a lean adult. They eat what their parents who are fat give them, setting them up for a lifetime of bad choices in food. My parents parents were from Poland and Ireland, and my parents cooked that food, which is rather heavy on calories. But we also ate healthy lean food. My dad gained weight over the years but mom didn't, preferring fish over meat a lot of the time. I started weight training at 17, just as I was starting to gain fat. Then studying nutrition along with the weights taught me what to eat, and I stayed very lean for the next 45 years, until I moved here and didn't have a gym handy until recently. Eating more rice here hasn't helped, so I've had to cut down to stay lean. I know many that I've met in gyms that are lean who have fat parents. Just takes will power and a desire to sty lean. Diet is most of what you look like. I can turn to a keto (kinda) diet and get ripped in a matter of weeks because I keep my body fat manageable. I love pasta, potatoes, rice, sweet potatoes and bread but don't eat too much because the waist starts to thicken. Salads help to fill you up so you eat less starches for dinner.
  22. When a woman feels loved, she will do whatever she can to make her man happy. If she's not a person who was fatter earlier in life, and only gained recently, she does not like how she is so that's when that positive feedback will work. Women know their bodies, as well as men, but they usually think they aren't as good as they really are. Many men think they are better than they actually are. Negative never works, and can make matters a whole lot worse.
  23. He's actually right about positive feedback. You tell a woman she's beautiful, looks great, sexy etc, and she'll do her best to stay that way. You tell her she's getting fat and she'll hate your words, never forget them, withdraw from you and maybe self sabotage herself by eating more.
  24. What do women deserve?
  25. How you live your life, putting in diet, exercise, amount of time in the sun, and stress can mean a lot more than genetics. I've seen many women and men who grew up looking a little like their parents, but in much better shape at the age I saw their parents at earlier.
