  1. I don't have one particular favourite and there's just too many to name. Sonny Landreth
  2. I remember in the '90s Buddy Guy played at the Hard Rock Cafe in Bangkok. For one number he plugged in an extended guitar lead and went walkabout around Siam Square. I only read about it a few days after I left Bangkok and went back to Nakhon Phanom. I would've loved to have been there had I known about it.
  3. Saw him in a rock club in early '80's. Afterwards me and mates met him outside where a van was waiting to whisk him away somewhere But a mate stopped and asked him about his playing technique. While he was explaining the van driver twice shouted to him to hurry up but Wilko got annoyed and ignored him and kept explaining to me mate. A true gent he is. The following week after watching a local band, Rory Gallagher turned up after his gig at the city polytechnic and jammed with the band some rock n roll numbers.
  4. Youtube has several videos. This one wraps everything up in about 30 mins. This murder case (no pun intended) is probably the easiest one to solve that you'll ever see in your life. The murderer had almost everything he did caught on CCTV.
  5. Thanks for photo. Link is useless for those who do not have a facebook accnt.
  6. The Janes 2022 101 mins. Fmovies and elsewhere. 'The Janes' tells the revelatory story of a group of unlikely outlaws. Defying the state legislature that outlawed abortion, the Catholic Church that condemned it, and the Chicago Mob that was profiting from it, the members of “Jane” risked their personal and professional lives to support women with unwanted pregnancies in the pre-Roe v. Wade era. Premieres June 8 on HBO Max.'
  7. 'Simone Lamsma (violin) - Davida Scheffers (cor anglais) Watch til the end, emotion guaranteed... Davida Scheffers has lived her dream in winning a contest and the opportunity to play with the dutch Orchestra. Davida suffers from an extremely painful neuromuscular condition that derailed her career, and she thought she would never get to play in a professional orchestra again... The young blond lady is her daughter and was 18 years old that day.'
  8. One portion (about size of large KFC/McD fries) of frozen frenchies takes 10 mins to reach golden brown. About 5 min mark open the fryer and shake fries for even cooking (not really necessary though).
  9. I'd like to reply to this topic but I'm somewhat busy. My Personal Assistant will reply in my place when she has the time.
  10. Roy Rogers, master of the slide guitar and producer of John Lee Hooker's album 'The Healer'.
  11. If you ever watch 'Honky Tonk Man' by Clint set during the during the 1929-37 great depression, watch out for the scene where he's in a flop house lying in bed. Next to him on a bedside cabinet is a bottle of Southern Comfort with a barcode on the label in plain sight. This one also directed by him was great to watch.
  12. I've got most episodes of all 14 Seasons of the first series. Episodes are around 23-25 mins each so handy to watch one while waiting for Mrs to get ready to go with me to pop out to the local supermarket.
  13. Talking about Amy Schumer, I saw this a while back and was pleasantly surprised to find that I enjoyed the movie. Plus, it was good to see Goldie Hawn is still with us.
  14. From 'Oh Mercy'. In 1990 I took a week off work and decided to go to Sweden. Had no idea where I was going to go or do when I got there, so on arrival I rented a Ford Fiesta and drove all over Sweden and Norway enjoying the scenery. I didn't prepare much for the trip so I had no music with me. Pulled into the first petrol station I came across and selected 'Oh Mercy' cassette from their meagre selection. These tracks got hammered alot with their driving beat.
  15. Probably my fave Dylan track. Every now and then I find myself singing a few verses.
  16. Two Shallow Graves. 2022 7 episodes. 'The McStay family was missing for three years before their remains were discovered in the desert. The prosecution says evidence proves Chase Merritt is the killer, but Merritt insists he is innocent and the facts are being misinterpreted.'
