Same with Thai women in taxis. Tells driver to stop at a busy junction. Taxi holds up traffic. Thai woman looks at meter and then searches for money (exact if possible). Hands over fare then proceeds to chit-chat with driver as to where he is from. Or, jumps into taxi in likes of Samut Prakarn and then tells the driver the name of her mooban in Pathum Thani expecting the driver to know the names of every little village in the Bangkok metropolis.

Always remember this gospel song from Dylan from the 'Saved' album and his '81 tour. I was hitching around Europe and had to go back to England because I had a ticket to see him at Birmingham NEC. Arrived at the NEC and a tout outside asked if I had a ticket. I had bought one via mail and cost 6.50 quid. He asked me where I was sitting and told him that according to the seat plan on the reverse side of the ticket, I was at the very back in the corner. He asked me how would I like to have a seat near the front. I said 'How near?'. He replied 2 rows from the front center. 'How much?' He said give me your ticket and a fiver (about 200baht). And that's how I almost got a front row seat to hear Dylan sing. (Shel had to go through a lot more to get his front seat to see Johnny but I was just as happy with my 2nd row seat to see Bobby)

Maybe if you paid some attention to what's around you by using your rear view/wing mirrors you won't be taken by surprise. Seems you shouldn't be on the roads at all if you're that jumpy. "I don't like Harleys but. . . . . . . " ????

Therein lies perhaps why some riders choose to have louder than stock pipes. With cars becoming more and more sound-proofed against environmental and traffic noise, are drivers becoming less aware of what is around them?

Have to agree. Season 4 doesn't seem as good as previous seasons. Episode 2 got a bit wokey when a new character had to announce she was a lesbian. Would've been nice if they'd had a review of what had happened previously.
