  1. In 2011 I was 300m away on the wrong side of big bag barricade in Don Meuang. I hope they don't try that again.
  2. The only parasites that gets under my skin are the Thai governmental type.
  3. And basically used as a swinging cradle for babies, to tie 2 items together, as a towel, for carrying small items in, for. . . . . I used to pack one with me when travelling somewhere. I used it as a towel, quick drying and sometimes better than hotel-supplied towels.
  4. I don't particularly like Pattaya, but I like it as it is too. A least it has it's own identity and doesn't look just like most other Thai towns that look like the next town that looks just like another town that looks more or less like the town 100kms away that looks exactly like. . . . . . . ????
  5. These got a fair bit of publicity around the late 70's in the UK. Bought their first album and then didn't hear much about them since then.
  6. What!!!! They couldn't sell enough puff pastries? It seemed such a good idea at the time. ????
  7. First saw GT on the Old Grey Whistle Test and later bought the first three of his albums. Then saw him doing this number for the Live Aid event and thought he was the best ass-kickingly act of the whole event.
  8. If you have to wear something on your head then why not wear something decent. Like a quality mc helmet.
  9. Like Thai Airways afew years ago. Farang got them back into the Black then said Bye-Bye to him. Now TA are in deep do-do again.
  10. And the plantation owners employed the very same Thais that were once duped to picked oranges in Sweden back in the '90's. ????
  11. Quick!!! Somebody call Carabao. We urgently need an uplifting song to raise the spirits of those affected.
  12. I did that when I had a Harley. Whenever I changed to a new tyre I'd replace the inner tube as well and keep the old one as spare. There came a time when I had to use a spare tube because the 'spray 'n' inflate' stuff didn't work because the nail causing the puncture had ripped the tube to shreds. For really big tyres it's best taking it to a car repair shop. They'll have the tyre levers big enough. Small bike shops will struggle with spoons or 6 inch levers. You just have to watch that what comes off the bike goes back on the same way. If you've only got space for one spare under your seat, have one for the rear. It's always rear isn't it.????
