  1. Why? According to Putin Russia is not at war, its just a special operation. what about Ukrainians are they being given the same dispensation, after all it was there country that is under siege
  2. Israel are renowned for taking decisive military action against any and all perceived threats to its sovereignty or citizens, what did Hamas expect to happen? Ok they encroached onto Israeli territory caused panic and devastation for a few hours but what kind of victory have they achieved. All that is going to happen is condemnation from the rest of the world, and either the total destruction of Gazza or its occupation and annexation by Israel, and they can do it with the rest of the world thinking that Hamas brought it upon themselves
  3. The guy who screwed up the cannabis regulations now giving directions on the gun laws …. God help us
  4. Too sick for detention but prime minister has already stated that he wants him as an adviser to his office, to sick for prison but healthy enough to return to politics
  5. Question 1. How many other convicted and sentenced prisoners have been treated in the Police hospital in recent years, how many of those were flown by helicopter and how many got to stay in a private room? ( i ask because a guy i know was allowed to die in the hospital wing of the prison without and special treatment) question 2. If his sentence has been cut because he is old and seriously ill why is the prime minister already talking about him having a place as a government adviser, surely if he is too sick and old to serve his sentence then he is definitely to frail to be involved in politics question 3. How is a politician who fled the country and was later convicted and sentenced on various corruption charges allowed to legally have anything to do with politics again? question 3. Why was his sentence cut? Why not let him be released under house arrest with monitoring bracelet?
  6. Should be placed in house arrest on an ankle bracelet for the full term of the 8 year imprisonment if he is so ill, bet a few days after his release he’ll be out living the high life. Thailand keep insisting that there is justice for all but still we see that rich and poor receive very different treatment
  7. Dumb as bricks, the senate will have the vote to decide on there premier choice, red shirts are even less likely to gain the votes than the move forward candidate.
  8. Hmmm and i wonder what happens while this vote is postponed indefinitely…. The general and the guy who gave the senators there jobs will remain in charge…..
  9. He created the mess yet hopes for a peaceful resolution
  10. Just make sure those selling have a business license and are paying the relevant taxes, prohibit smoking in public places, limit the amount allowed to be carried, public warning labels same as cigarettes warning of the effects of intoxication so not getting people running to emergency room thinking they are dying people need a stress relief from the daily rigors this government has priced a good time with a few beers out for most minimum wage Thais, there is a war on meth but a yaba pill can be bought for as little as 2 baht a bottle of beer comes in at 65 baht, cannabis could be used as a buffer between the two if handled correctly
  11. What bull! Police taking the suspect to apologize, that’s to protect the image of thai people nothing to do with actual remorse. He will now be eligible for a lesser sentence as will claim he has shown remorse and is forgiven by the foreigner. Old guy needs to make sure he writes in his statement that he does not forgive the Thai for running a red light and nearly killing him while on a pedestrian crossing, then leaving him to potentially die in the gutter
  12. Are these offenses committed with video evidence or on the say so of the Brown mafia, more power to extort, I was pulled over in Bangkok yesterday accused of running a red light, when in reality I passed while green but traffic was slowed as I crossed the junction due a traffic cop approaching traffic in search of another victim, told wife the fine was 1000 baht, thought from September 1st it was 4000 baht, I demanded he issue me a ticket 3 times, at which point he told the wife to step out of the vehicle away from the dash camera.. she returned 2 minutes later after being extorted out of 300 baht… Message to Big Joke you still have a long way to go
  13. Does Australian government allow retirement pensions to be claimed by those not living in the country for certain amount of time each year?
  14. War on drugs? Monopolize the beer industry and tax it like crazy so drugs become a much cheaper option
  15. Problem number 1 is government have raised the taxes on beer making it expensive, this causes people to either drink cheaper higher percentage spirits or buy meth which is now cheaper than a bottle of beer
  16. Anutin fled the country and has been found guilty in absentia several times over the last few years, I don’t understand how he couldn’t have been charged and prosecuted through the courts, then be given the opportunity to return and appeal
  17. So much for their pre covid promises to end dual pricing for expats with the issue of a special Id card, not only have they not done this now after helping to feed Thai citizens who were affected by covid when the government left them to rot, traveling more during covid to keep local tourism operating, now we also have this to contend with Going to be interesting to see if any of the hotel booking sites allow this, they will likely be banned from operating within Europe and many other countries
  18. Either it’s legal or it isn’t, you just announced release of prisoners convicted of cannabis offenses, it was a crime when they were arrested and unless it had less than 0.2% thc then under this clear as mud policy it’s likely still illegal now then you announced that tones 9f confiscated cannabis will be returned to those arrested, these new laws are a cluster from start to finish,
  19. I don’t have a problem with tax funded attractions charging a premium for foreign visitors (not residents) what boils my blood is when private attractions follow the same policy, similar to the private hospitals charging foreigners much higher fees when receiving treatment think tourists should keep all the receipts for food and beverage purchased on their trip then when leaving go to the vat desk and demand all the vat back, “I haven’t been to the toilet so I’m leaving the country with all the food and beverages on these bills”
  20. Of course not, as soon as they announce it as endemic then the state of emergency is rescinded and the total power of the prime minister comes to an end, while covid is a pandemic anutin still has a relevance in thai politics, as soon as it’s an endemic he returns to obscurity with zero relevance
  21. We’re now open for business! Unless you want to enjoy the nightlife then we are closed for business, unless you want to visit a restaurant with no kitchen and unable to serve food then we’re open for business, but we’re only open for business until midnight, so you’ll be well rested for your journey home. but don’t worry we have many tourists attractions! But you will have to pay 10 times the entrance fee of locals for the privilege
