  1. No, you will not get 5 year ban for few days overstay..
  2. Airlines should have the information on their website, if there is any doubt you can contact them directly and just ask.
  3. I think I answered that question. Test can be required by either destination country, transit country, airlines. So you need to check all three. Usually the test is not required by the airlines but it is not always the case.
  4. The situation is constantly changing so you will need to check the requirements of destination country and every transit country. Also it can be a requirement of the airlines but usually it is not. I was flying 3 months ago with Emirates and I didn't need the test.
  5. That is not true. Only some hospitals are doing the tests which are listed on those two lists you can see through the QR code you received. Actually even some listed hospitals are refusing to do the tests like Pattaya City Hospital.
  6. As far as I remember the window was the same for COE and it was supposed to be only after the initial date and not before. And also for COE there was a requirement that it was only acceptable if airlines cancelled/rescheduled the flight, it wasn't acceptable for flight changes done by the traveler.
  7. Results should be next day but it is quite complicated to check the results. You can do it only trough MOPH application through Line and you have to give them access to your profile and some other things. I will not try to check it myself. If I would be positive they would surely contact me. No need to check.
  8. It was the same building but this time it was not the right side like shown on your photo but they were doing the tests on the left side of the building. There was no queue though, everyone was in one big crowd because it was only place with shadow. And they were shouting numbers all the time and calling people by the numbers (everyone had number on their registration form).
  9. So I was today at Banglamung hospital and thank god I got this over with. I arrived around 9:20am and there were exactly 200 people before me. First you had to fill in some paper with your details and then wait in first queue for registration (passport + pink slip needed). Then you wait for the vial and then you wait for the test. I had the test done at 11:30, so I was waiting for about two hours. What was not nice there was no distancing, people everywhere around you. And worst thing was that there were whole Russian families with small kids who didn't have face masks and were coughing a lot all over the place.
  10. When I see the picture I really don't know if I will go there. I would probably get covid after tomorrow's testing. Not sure what to do now.
  11. That is insane. So what will you do? Go to Banglamung again or is some other hospital doing the test? I haven't seen any other hospital from Pattaya on the list..
  12. To be honest I would like to know as well. I called my hotel when it happened and they told me that maybe I can self-test my self using ATK test. But I don't want to risk it because I signed a paper that I will get tested using PCR test. If you will go to Banglamung hospital note that they test only for 2 hours from 9am till 11am. And they are basically only hospital doing the free PCR tests for whole Pattaya. It will be fun tomorrow.
  13. Did you apply for Phuket Sandbox or TEST & GO scheme?
  14. So the Pattaya City Hospital is just refusing to do the PCR tests even though they are on the list of government hospitals which are supposed to do the testing! They just send everyone to Banglamung hospital. Basically just a single hospital doing the free test for whole Pattaya. Amazing Thailand.
  15. I think it can be done in Pattaya City Hospital. I will go there tomorrow.
  16. When I was travelling to Phuket I booked taxi myself and I used Vecay Phuket taxi. You can find them using Google. They have quite good prices as well but I am not sure if they are SHA+ certified. Not sure if that matters though, probably no one will check.
  17. I cannot help you much with your topic, just a note that AirBnB is illegal in Thailand for short term rentals (less than 30 days). Only rentals over 30 days are legal in Thailand. Be careful about that.
  18. The reason for the free test was that they changed conditions for those two schemes but people who were already approved with the previous conditions shouldn't pay more for additional PCR test. For Phuket Sandbox they were not changing conditions so no reason for the Thai government to pay for the test. You can see it here for example: https://www.tatnews.org/2021/12/thailand-reopening-living-in-the-blue-zone-17-sandbox-destinations/ For the Bangkok Sandbox they mention that 2nd PCR test is without additional cost. They don't mention it for Phuket Sandbox.
  19. My understanding was that the free test paid by the government applies for Test & Go scheme and Living In The Blue Zone scheme (Bangkok Sandbox) and not Phuket Sandbox. But maybe I am wrong.
  20. I have the booking already. Fully paid with confirmation letter as well. I will just not send them the documents via e-mail.
  21. Definitely safer. It is not stored digitally, cannot be hacked, cannot be intercepted during transfer, cannot be forwarded to other parties etc. You seem like you don't care about sensitive private information at all. If I don't mail them a copy what will they do? I will have Thailand Pass already and all the documents so I am coming to Thailand. Can they revoke my Thailand Pass?
  22. Exactly, showing ID, not sending them a copy via e-mail. I haven't seen that yet. I don't have a problem showing them my passport. No hotel had just my passport number and I was tested at the airport before checking-in to the hotel. They didn't have my passport.
  23. Showing a passport is totally different thing than sending the passport via unsecured and unencrypted email so it will be stored on their mail server (for how long? forever?). I don't have a problem showing them physical copy on site.
