"Biden has said he would not issue new permits for fracking on federal lands but would allow existing operations to continue. That position has earned him detractors among climate activist groups."   https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2020/10/08/fact-checking-vice-presidential-debate-between-pence-harris/

If you care to read the entire link (I know you won't) you'll see that Pence stretched the truth five times as often as Harris.

Due to Biden's current vegetative condition amidst his rotting cognitive decline and his general, overall buffoonery I s'pose we can issue a pass on his lies as he may not know what he said and certainly does not know what he's talking about, whats on his website and is not on the same page as Kamala.

refer to the following for a clearer understanding:

WALLACE: “You propose $2 trillion in green jobs, you talk about new limits, not abolishing, but new limits on fracking. Ending the use of fossil fuels to generate electricity by 2035 and zero net emission of greenhouse gases by 2050. The President says a lot of these things would tank the economy and cost millions of jobs.” BIDEN: “He is absolutely wrong.”

FACT: Biden’s energy plan would cost trillions of dollars and hundreds of thousands of jobs.

    ·         Biden admitted he would willingly “sacrifice” “hundreds of thousands” of fossil fuel jobs in pursuit of his anti-energy agenda.
    ·         Biden has made clear – he wants to “end” fossil fuels, saying they would have “no place” in a Biden presidency.
    ·         Biden has said he would “love to make sure we can’t use any oil or gas, period” and that he would “make sure” fossil fuels and fracking are “eliminated.”
    ·         Over 10.3 million American jobs are supported by the oil and gas industry.
    ·         Biden has vowed that there would be no place for fracking in a Biden Administration, saying it would be “eliminated.”
    ·         Biden’s plan to ban new energy permitting on federal lands alone would threaten an estimated 268,000 jobs.
    ·         Completely banning fracking would destroy anywhere from 1 million to 19 million jobs.
    ·         Biden has proposed completely eliminating oil, gas, and coal from the U.S. power grid by 2035.

    ·         Prior estimates show eliminating oil, gas, and coal from the U.S. energy grid would cost anywhere from $4.5 trillion to $5.7 trillion, with an average cost of $35,000 per household.

BIDEN: “That is not my plan. The Green New Deal is not my plan.”

FACT: Joe Biden has embraced the Green New Deal in all but name.

    ·         Biden’s own climate plan on his website cites the Green New Deal as a “crucial framework for meeting the climate challenges we face.”
    ·         The Washington Post: “Joe Biden is embracing the framework of the Green New Deal in his bid for the White House…”
    ·         Inside Climate News: “In embracing it, he proclaimed his support for the central principles … of the Green New Deal.”

And these two lying catastrophe's want to run the country? LoL, RIIIIGGGGHHHHT!

  2. Harris started the VP debate, with a rehearsed but very effective answer about the Trump administration’s failures to handle the coronavirus outbreak the way she and Biden would, BUT when pressed for details on what she’d do differently, she began to struggle and never quite regained a strong footing stepping all over her dangling tongue from that point forward and made a fool of herself AGAIN, much like the her laughable primary debacle.

After getting annihilated on virtually every other point, happy Harris walked away as the clear-cut winner in the category of “unlikeable.” in which she scored a perfect ten.

What a donkey! Pense ripped her a new hoop and wiped that evil grin off her ugly smug mug in a magnificently executed evisceration of poor pathetic Kamala.

I had to laugh again about the fracking lies, especially knowing AOC is wetting her knickers over this delightful green deal Dem hypocrisy cock-up.

Not sure who is more embarrassing to the left: her or Pelosi, lol with this flash of brilliance-- "25th application" "tomorrow". This is left wing insanity/lunacy at it's finest. Nothing to worry about, with the massive lead in the fake polls, why all this desperation Nancy?

Quite fun watching the VP debate and EVERYTHING democratic as of late as was watching the bears win over Buccs.

Apparently you didn't see the video. Next?

Didn't see no torture except the application of police approved restraint of an out of control felonious junkie.

Read the toxicology reports that corrupt hennepin prosecutors sat on for 3 months showing 3 times the lethal OD dose of fentanyl in floyds blood samples. George Floyd killed George Floyd, now all accused have bonded out and filed for dismissals.

  4.  Harris claimed that President Donald Trump called soldiers “suckers” and “losers.”

This is totally false, AND despicable. That claim by The Atlantic has never been corroborated and has been widely disputed.

Yet, why didn't Pence very plainly say that she was outright lying, ask her for her source, and note that anyone can make up anything and then anyone can repeat it, but it's meaningless without evidence. Fox News could have said Kamala is a serial kiIler with a preference for lesbian teenagers, and Pence could have repeated it, but how can you get away with that on a national debate, when your claim is based 100% on hearsay, when Kamala is a former prosecutor, and knows that such a claim would be prohibited in a court, as inadmissible, because it is baseless and there is no corroboration for it of any kind, and the party doing the slandering has an enormous motive to lie?

I, for one, am very, very disappointed that these lies were not refuted and dissected when we had the chance, and that the courtroom/deceptive-and-rule-breaking-prosecutor analogy was never made.

This woman is poison, she has no business in our gov't. She will say and do ANYTHING. She is pus from an oozing infection. Such a phony hypocrite who believed all allegations against her sexual deviant saint joe until she didn't, called him a racist but now he's her knight in shining armor ticket to the white house. Unbelievably poor excuse for a human being. Joe pulled a mega boner selecting this loser.

  5. Harris did prove once again how disliked she is, same as Hillary was and again put on display her persistent pathological lying and hypocrisy. Count the lies she made in 90 minutes. Y'all think trump is the only liar.

But then, she's sharing the ticket with a world class corrupt lying buffoon who will answer all your questions and tell you EVERYTHING after the election. What a rotting farcical gong show these two have devolved to. Amateur hour and the laughing stock of the world for all the non liberty lovers here that don't belong but carnival bark nonstop.

For many of us Brits, Thailand is our home.

It is where we live with our Thai families.

You are resident in Thailand, without official residency status?

If so, what are the options available aside from PR application to articulate this, if any.

Be nice to see some updated immigration policies addressing the long stay non-resident conundrum. Make a lot less headaches for many.

  7. "But when Donald Trump—the U.S. president whose administration separates children from their families to deter asylum-seekers—says there is much to be learned from Australia’s immigration policies, it’s a fresh reminder of just how bad things have become.

Australia’s asylum policies—which see asylum-seekers languishing for years under inhumane conditions in offshore detention centers in Papua New Guinea and Nauru—are already a source of great shame for many Australians. Widely condemned by human rights groups and the United Nations, the policies contravene various human rights charters, including the 1951 Refugee Convention and even the Convention Against Torture. A U.N. report called on Australia to close the offshore centers, finding “inadequate mental health services, serious safety concerns and instances of assault, sexual abuse, self-harm and suspicious deaths; and about reports that harsh conditions compelled some asylum seekers to return to their country of origin despite the risks that they face there.” Just last week, a former detainee who spent six years on Manus Island begged the U.N. Human Rights Council to hold Australia to account, calling the centers—not just the circumstances they were fleeing—a humanitarian crisis."

Talk about messed up human abuses against immigrants.

No, it's a free service but BBC blocks streaming it outside the UK due to "rights issues"

It may be accessible to you right now via VPN but the issue at hand is they regularly block IP addresses that they reckon are VPN providers.

Just checked my email: no other contact beyond their autoresponder.

    Oh, ok, I see. Thanks.

I am using a "dedicated residential" London vpn server location. If it gets detected & blocked a new residential IP address is assigned to me as a guarantee from the provider.

Been using the same residential IP's both in UK & USA for a few years now and have yet to be blocked by any streaming service.

(FYI-in case anyone is in need of such a service).

  9. This BBC iplayer is accessible from TH with a UK vpn but it requires a subscription or a "tv license". Don't see any free channels.

BUT....if I click on "I have a TV License. Watch Now." it works.

Is this not a paid service?

  10. Found some details (proposed by the Thailand's Minister of Tourism Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn) for a phuket tourist "holiday" plan slated for October: 14 day quarantine and then free to roam the resort ONLY.

Additional 7 day quarantine and additional covid tests to leave the resort!

    https://tinyurl.com/phuket-quarantine

So, for a glorious 4 week holiday experience in Phuket, stay, 3 weeks are spent in a quarantine facility.

    SNL was never this hilarious.

Huawei may not be the proprietary designer but it holds the most 5G related patents and therefore holds the trump card. Interesting that you say that.

I think we all know that VP to be elected Harris is capable of being more electrifying and charismatic than potus to be elected Biden.

But I think she intentionally played a very smart game to let Biden have the spotlight in that rollout event.

She will be electrifying in the campaign but at the end of the day the VP is not supposed to upstage the potus.

To add, personally I think this was the smartest political and also safe choice for Biden.

I think once elected Rice would be a better governing partner than Harris, but that means nothing if you don't win.

Evicting 45 is job one, for Biden, the democrats, and all decent Americans that want to preserve American democracy.

wait and see how this works out for sleepie slow joe and this phoney conniven harris.

Remember how kamala believed bidens accusers until she didn't!

She is gonna get lit up like a firecracker on Cn new years! She's DONE///like toast, guaran-azz-teed!

A friend worked at a top notch private school in Bangkok, the filippinos taught everything and a few were paid more than many of the other teachers due to being at the school for many years. Reading the commets here people do not know a thing about what teachers can make at a private school in Thailand. My friend started at 120,000b a month this was base salary more was paid for extra work. He could make 30,000 more a month for extra classes also they were paid 40,000 a month housing allowance. This was 10 years ago. Get your facts straight before posting non-sense.

    120K THB/month for a filipino teacher,,,in Thailand?

Back on topic. This link deserves a reposting no matter how hurtful it must be for the ever-trumpers:

'Judge Andrew Napolitano: In Portland, actions of federal agents are unlawful, unconstitutional and harmful'

"Under federal law, the feds may not deploy police or military domestically unless the state Legislature or the state governor requests it. Neither has done so for Portland."

    Game, set, match.

you are TOTALLY wrong and so confused and so is napolitano. Do some research and try to understand state & federal rules and laws.
