Just out of curiosity and following on from this, after having done a 60 day visa exempt and a 30 day extension at immigration, then doing a border run ( land or air) and obtaining a new 60 day visa exempt, can that then be extended by 30 days again at immigration? TBH it seems a rather large loophole if you can just carry on doing it!

Forgive my ignorance, but is a digital card on your phone, like (for example) google pay? Also can you pay by Google pay etc these days, I think there's more and more people using it in UK rather than a card. Thank you.

TBH the Swiss guy has been a complete and utter 🔔end and deserves to be thoroughly castigated, on the other hand the Dr (if the account is true) has been wronged and deserves justice. I'd be grateful if someone could clarify this for me please. Is Wise just a method of transferring money from one account to another, or can you set up an account into which, for example, pension is paid and direct debits etc can be paid from. And then draw upon those funds in the normal way? I'm just thinking what if my UK bank account were to be closed, as seem's to be happening more frequently, what would my alternative be? Many thanks for any clarification!

I used to use EvilBay quite a bit a few years ago, mostly for buying and selling guitars and amps, and found it ok, mostly very good experiences. PayPal I found to work well once I'd managed to set it up. In Thailand I wouldn't really bother with eBay at all, there's other avenues open.

I pay for YouTube Premium cos I watch a lot of different stuff on it from concerts to documentaries and a load of other stuff and it's worth it to get rid of the annoying ads. For example in this world of no instructions being included in, say, a new printer, there'll be a YouTube vid on it, like most other things. Plus, as has been mentioned elsewhere, you get YouTube music, which I also use a lot, so to me it's well worth the money.

So the deal is a Chinese Sub in exchange for a pile of <deleted>..... I'd say the Chinese got the better end of the deal there.????????

I brought 2 guitars in (Levinson Blade and a Gibson Les Paul) and noone was bothered. I don't know if there'd be questions asked if you brought in, say, 5 or 6, where it could be construed as bringing in to sell?
