Visa Exempt entry at land borders
MrMilk replied to sadmoneysnow's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
They were not able to help me when I went to Ban Pakkard and redirected me to the Ban Laem border instead. I found the 2000 thb price for everything more than fair and did not haggle. Maybe its room for negotiations, I dont know -
Visa Exempt entry at land borders
MrMilk replied to sadmoneysnow's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
You confusing Ban Pakkard border with the Ban Laem border. At Ban Laem border you will be allowed to do a same day border jump. Tell the IO that you want to go back and forth same day just to get a new stamp. He will call over a agent to take you through the process. Price 2000 thb (includes the Cambodian Visa). Takes 10 min to a hour for the entire process depending on how busy the day is -
You can take the 4-5 hours trip to the Ban Laem border tomorrow. Go by motorbike or van. There you will get a new 45 day Visa exempt stamp for around +/- 2000 thb. Plus 500 thb for one day overstay. No-one going to ask any questions and you start over with a clean slate. Another option is to pay a agent to do the visa extension for you. Expect to pay premium since you already on overstay. Or you check into a hotel for a couple of nights just to get the TM30 from them and deal with the immigration yourself afterwards. I would just take the trip to Ban Laem, it takes quite some hours but its stress-free and you also get 15 days extra. Forget about lawyers, threats, and conflicts with the house owner. Its a losing game and far from worth it. Just let it go. Continue renting from him if you feel like it or just cancel the booking through AirBnB if you feel like moving on.

Yellow armpits stains - what to buy to get rid of them?
MrMilk replied to Baron Samedi's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Try the 3 hour soak program on your washing machine. A cup of washing powder+ 1/2 cup of "bleach"+ a small squeeze of vinegar to remove any odor -
Thai massage.... I want to change the lady
MrMilk replied to wn78's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
I would just wait it out (or even make a excuse and leave if I had enough) and go to a different place next time. Its simply not worth raising your voice with a issue in a setting like this. -
Your budget is not going to be a problem, but you are likely to be set straight by some drunk Thai guys unless you leave your attitude at home

Thanks but non of them deliver to Thailand I was hoping to find a (temporary) option down here until I get back to Europe. Already talked to a few of the big Exchanges and they can only send to your verified address in the EU as you say.

Can anyone recommend a site where you can order a Crypto Visa/Mastercard and have it delivered to your address in Thailand? I would prefer a non-Thai company if possible

Great detailed report. Thanks for sharing

Are you sure its a good idea to go alone on a trip like that? You are more or less dead if you catch a snakebite alone out in the wild. Then you have the other dangers like centipedes, scorpions, stray dogs. I would consider bringing a Thai with me on the first trip. Get a local to guide you for a few hundred baht until you are familiar with the area.

Djokovic lost many fans during the last couple of weeks. Tennis is after all considered a "gentlemen sport" and the last weeks circus will/have take a big hit on his reputation and legacy. It was two-sided who people supported up until his statment were he clearly lied and blamed his team for stupid mistakes.

- Stay home. - Tell no one. - Talk to your GF and make sure she doesn't tell anyone - Get food delivered outside your door and pay with transfer/Truemoney. LineMan, Grab, Tesco, all accept transfer and hang food on door without psychical contact (or questions asked) At least that`s my plan if I the Covid down here.

Covid extension under consideration
MrMilk replied to Zyte's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Up until now the only documents that been requested from me when applying/extending the "Covid visa" has been the application, affidavit, and 1900 thb. This time however they said that you need to show a outbound flight to get another extension. And they also claimed this was the final Covid-extension they would grant. Two people in front of me in line got the same message. Book a flight there and then or come back when you have booked the flight. I decided to leave and come back a couple of days later to see if the IO officer was in a better mood, but No, same requirement. Had to book a ticket to Cambodia (1700 thb) to get my application "approved" (under consideration stamp) -

Renting advice
MrMilk replied to Thai Visa Member 999999's topic in Real Estate, Housing, House and Land Ownership
You should check out Airbnb.com. Its loads to choose from and the prices are lower than ever. So many apartments stand empty due to the lack of tourists. You can rent for as long as you want. The longer the cheaper. No depositum either -
I too had plans about a trip to KC and aware of the "official" requirements but after reading the tread I linked you I got second thoughts. I am doubled jabbed but I choose to avoid any place that might involve testing because I am terrified about the consequences of a positive test. Sad but true

You have to do a ATK test before entering the ferry and hotel at Koh Chang. Just so you have that in the back of your mind before deciding where to go

I have not left Thailand since early 2020. Fully vaccinated with two shots of Pfizer. I like to rent a condo through AirBnB for a month or two now to get a change of scenery. Considering between Hua Hin, Pattaya, and Bangkok. In that order. I will be travelling from the Chantaburi district with a taxi. Can I go as I wish or does any of these places have requirements? I will be doing a TM30 on the place I stay.

Desperate Situation During Pandemic
MrMilk replied to JaydenL's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I wouldn't worry to much about the Covid extension. As Jack says its very likely going to continue for several more months. Even if you get denied at your current immigration office you can always travel to another office and try again. As long the government continue issuing them you will be able to stay legally in Thailand (even if it involves some extra travel/hassle). What you need to focus your time and energy on is making money. Or finding a way that can make you more money. Finding a extra income online is more than possible. Without money its just a matter of time before you either have to leave or end up in trouble. Be creative (but stay within the law of course). Your mental state sounds tiring. Maybe its a idea to do some searching online and see if you can find (free) support or just someone to talk to. There is helplines where you can reach out and have a chat for free. Maybe a suitable forum or similar can be an idea. Sometimes it helps just to vent a bit. Workout or simply having a long walk can give short-term relief. Write down a plan so you have it all in front of you. What to do on a day to day basis to get in a better position by early 2022. Good luck in turning things around!
