  17. Picture: Siam Rath Pak Kret police were called to a second hand motorcycle dealership and repair shop called Chang Nott in Bang Phoot sub-dsitrict of Nonthaburi. They found one .38 casing. Beer, 17, a mechanic said that 6-7 burly men had arrived in a black Fortuner and another car. They talked to his mate Fluke, 16, a fellow mechanic. He understood they were chatting for 5-10 minutes after Fluke advertised a Kawasaki Serpico for sale on Facebook. Picture: Siam Rath But he told Pak Kret police that suddenly one man put a gun into Fluke's back as he was abducted and put in one of the vehicles. It was not clear from the Siam Rath story if 25 year old Surachai from Bangkok was still at the scene after the shooting. The gang escaped with Fluke. A close friend of Fluke, Por, also 16, said that he didn't believe this was about the bike for sale. That was all legal and above board. He told police that hundreds of thousands of baht had appeared in his friend's account. He said he had opened an account for a gang to use. It appears that the young man helped himself to money that was not his resulting in a visit from some "people of influence". Police are looking at CCTV to get a lead in the case as investigations continue into the abduction. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2022-09-17 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m.
