Do you flaunt your wealth in Thailand?
You do not flaunt your wealth here but it is very important (chiefly for Thais) to signal their social status. The two can easily be confused as one implies the other but not necessarily. E.g. the choice of an E-class Mercedes Benz may appear to be a show of wealth but is more likely to be an indicator of status. The graduation picture and degree from a government university displayed in a prominent position is all about status. Status has a large bearing on how you are treated (again chiefly for Thais). Wealth with zero status may potentially attract the wrong sort of friends.

Insurance cover
So, I have a new motorbike and I decided I would get some extra insurance along with the พ.ร.บ. My chief aim was theft cover. Anything else was a bonus. I found a policy with Viriyah Insurance. In addition to the theft cover was another line of cover I read this as insurance cover covering damage from an accident which results in damage to the motorcycle equivalent to at least 60% of the covered amount. (The covered amount is clearly stated on the policy). However this seems rather generous. What if the accident is my fault? And the bike is at least 60% written off. Surely they won't pay for that. But the insurance cover seems to suggest I am covered. Any experts?

60-day visa exemptions are now unlimited at land borders
I am afraid I cannot understand what you are trying to say. Did you breach the border and just enter on your own terms?

What's a just OK not great not horrible holiday tip amount for condo doorman, etc.
Chonburi minimum wage = 361/day. Parcel guy 1 day rounded up to the next 10 Baht = 370 Baht. Doorman 0.5 day rounded up to the next 10 Baht = 190 Baht + 1 bottle of Lipovitan. With a clear explanation that it is for Sawatdee Pee Mai

Requirements For Obtaining And Renewing A 2 Year Driving Licence
2 2-year licences obtained from Sri Racha DLT (which is in the district of Sri Racha but actually in Ao Udom near Laem Chabang). The tests were perfunctory. Only colour blindness and peripheral vision were tested. A lot of sitting and waiting around. Total time around 2.5 hours. When the 2 years is up, I will go back there to convert to 5 year licences, if I am still residing in Chonburi province.

Requirements For Obtaining And Renewing A 2 Year Driving Licence
From where I live Bang Lamung DLT 14.8 km. Sri Racha DLT 20.4 km. (It is actually in Laem Chabang and really easy to get to.) I am not sure if you are referring to a brand new 2-year licence from scratch application. Where did you get the 14-day wait at Bang Lamung from? Are you possibly referring to a 5-year renewal which is a different process. So, yep, Sri Racha definitely worked for me.

5 year multiple entry DTV visa (Destination Thailand) from 2024-xx-xx
If by "bad entry point" @Rob Browder means that entry may be denied and the announced rules ignored, then, yes, that possibility exists at Suwannaphum. It denies on your history of stays and what you used to obtain permission to stay.

The crime reporters will only print stories that the police have given them approval to print. The police generally don't provide updates. (It might lead to criticism! You can't please all parties!) Thus we very rarely get updates.
