My gf went recently in Samitivej women's health center for a routine examination, they did a test, here it is:

Cytopathology Report

Specimen: Cervical & endocervical smear (ThinPrep Pap Test)

Adequacy: Satisfactory for evaluation

Diagnosis: Epithelial cell abnormalities (Atypical squamous cells of undetermined signifiance, ASC-US)

Note: Few intermediate cells show enlarged and hyperchromatic nuclei. A few non-classical koilocytes are noted. LSIL and/or HPV cannot be excluded.

Associated findings: mild inflammation with bacilli

Suggestion: please repeat smear within 4-6 months.

(HPV DNA TESTING can be performed from remaining cells.)

Doctor explained to my gf but she did not understand well enough or has not the vocabulary to explain me exactly. Only knows that she needs to go back for this test and another kind of test in 4-6 months, and (of course) not to worry.

First, about the test itself: is it a standard test (for a 30 yrs old woman), what is it exactly?

About the results: from what I found on internet it seems that it's not serious, but needs monitoring as it could be/become a cancer. What are LSIL and HPV?

HPV is a virus and it is true that all these test are to make a proper diagnosis to exclude cervical cancer. Cancer can either be malignt or benign.

Thursday night I had 2 Heinekens and then ate McDs. I puked all of it up but felt OK in the morning.

I agree, you got the teaching skills already, maybe you teach English already otherwise you can take the TEFL course. I have seen loads ads under classifieds. Check the major newpapers webpages. It might give you an idea.

I can only answer on the basis of observation as a long time member in one of the "quality gyms",

and as far as I know its only one International recognized certified Personal Trainer where I `m a member but all together I think its 5 instructors in the gym.

It looks like it is foreigners which use personal training mostly and then again women, but also some better of Thais. However, it not looks like any Instructor in the gym are to busy with Personal

training.

Why not contact the gyms! They can probably give you the answers you need.

If you however want to do a survey with the intention to find out if its marked for a high scale Personal Training business here then my opinion is that its a bit to early. But that can change the next 5-10 years time.

Well thanks, if you by any chance come across reading material on the subject drop me a line. I would appreciate all info especially in regards to companies that conduct serious surveys.

Unless I have overlooked it, I am amazed that within this topic I have come across only of "thai-lovelinks" as a recomended and respectable site. For sure there must be other ones that qualify as "serious, non rip-off " sites.

Whenever I google a little bit concernig this subject, whatever comes up, I can identify as a bogus "scam" site, that is mainly interested in getting your credit-card number.

So then, any input as far as "serious, non rip-off" sites, that you may have dealt with before with regard of having actually been connected with genuinely interested (non Beer Bar) Thai-Ladies?

How long are you willing to wait until you meet the right one? I am not completely sure but I think that Thai women are pretty much the same as anywhere else. There are women that would go with the first man and rip him off, like the women that youre talking of coming from rip off organizations and bargirls.

There is also women that you would have to wait a long time before you are accepted by their families, relatives etc (standard procedures) Women that just wanna be sure of the fact that they end up with the right man... Judging of what they can see for themselves from tourist or expats misbehaving you cant really blame them. They just let us work a little bit harder for them. With the time you are willing to wait for her you decide cher value in their cceyes so to speak. It can actually take years before youre "confirmed". Are you willing to wait?

Steer clear of McDonalds, KFC and Pizza Hut and you should be fine...

Even though these options are extremely boring especially when you are in Thailand with its diversity in cooking. I would say that unfortunately these are your safest options. Skip the ice in the drinks, it could be made of water from the tab. Who knows??
