All I can tell you is mine is 30 years younger than me, she cleans the house, cooks the food, washes and irons my clothes, takes out the rubbish, washes my car, puts my socks and shoes on, and takes them off every time I go out. She dresses up for me every night before I come home, she makes herself up, does her hair, puts on her heels, so when I come in the door she looks amazing. And she never has a headache no matter when I'm in the mood. . She gets up 1hr before me no matter what time I get up and has breakfast waiting on the table when I get up and has dinner on the table when I get home. I never have to lift a finger. She even comes in to the front room to pass me the remote from the table in front of me. It's like having a Stepford wife that bonks like crazy, but I'm not complaining. She was also a real good girl and waited for the right man. She told me she had a boyfriend before for 2 years I thought that's Ok, we all sow our oats, but turns out all they did was hold hands. I was pretty shocked to find out on the wedding night she was actually totally intact as I wasn't expecting it. When she told me they just held hands I thought she was making it up. Shame on me. So say what you like about Isaan girls, there's a lot of diamonds out there that you won't find anywhere else in the World. I think she knows that It's impossible to leave her. I've even forgotten how to tie my own shoes laces now.

You cannot compare Flu to COVID. Flu has been around for hundreds of years if not more. It has wiped all the millions of people without a natural immunisation. It's sad that so many have to die but we have been through this before with the Spanish flu in 1918. You cannot hold back nature. The only way to beat it is to catch it early and isolate it before it can spread. We were warned about this happening by many people as early as 2012 who advised us to set up a global task force to be ready the moment it appears. No country listened and the World did nothing to prepare. That's why we are in this mess now. People run from it like they do from fire and air travel has created the perfect global spreader mechanism. If you want to protect humanity you just need to immunise, take of the masks and if it kills you, it kills you, but you die knowing that by taking you out your weakness is being removed from the global Gene pool. The only things immunisation and face masks do is delay the inevitable to be dealt with by the next generations. That just means it will be around longer than flu, people have a better chance of a longer life but once it has peaked it will disappear quicker. These are all the logics of COVID but on a personal level each death bring heartbreak. You have to weight up the personal human effect against the global logic. On a political level I think it will be a balancing act between one and the other so the hospitals will not be overwhelmed. This is the approach the UK are taking, allowing it to run free, However the chances of mutation in the unvaccinated populations of the world means it will come back again and again and again.

Should have done it 2 years ago like I did. Nothing left in Thailand worth staying for now. It was obvious to me what was coming. COVID is going nowhere and how you live now is how you will always live going forwards. This IS the new normal and Thailand is not the normality I need.
