  1. Enoch Powell is up there with Jordan B Peterson. They both have an insight which is spot on, but unless you listen and actually hear what they are actually saying they can be taken as being prejudiced. They simply are showing the reality of how things are and how they will progress. There is no bias or prejudice in their thinking, Just a natural progression of the order of things if the policies in place are allowed to progress. Powell was absolutely not a racist. He talks about uncontrolled immigration. How it generates fear and that fear will manifest itself as resentment against those who settled. It was the same fear that British people have of uncontrolled immigration that lead to Brexit. Before you throw racist or misogynistic rhetoric around listen closely to what people are saying. You may not like what they say about the consequences but they are stating facts not using prejudice in their arguments. Had journalism been to the standard it is today then I'm sure Enoch would have been questioned harder and deeper and then you would be able to see his thinking did not come from a prejudicial viewpoint. And listen to Jordan B Peterson when others try to twist his words into a prejudicial model. How he corrects them to make sure he is simply stating facts that are the conclusion of empirical evidence. It is a pity Enoch is not here to correct the overview people have that his words were racist.
  2. So do most farts but I don't necessarily want to breathe them in......
  3. Never knew burgers came that big. I think is a euphemism for a Ladyboy special.
  4. "Or Else you can ignore this and carry on as normal. Love Big Pom PS don't forget my Christmas box"
  5. Yes, they have enough of their own running the Thai government and police forces. Who needs the competition.
  6. Do it like America. Add some questions to the immigration form to tick to be presented on arrival. Here are some examples. Are you a member of a drugs cartel or any form of mafia or crime syndicate? Are you or have you ever been a drug abuser or addict? If not, do you plan to become one while you are here? Did you earn your money legally and pay taxes? Are you coming to the Thailand to engage with prostitution or unlawful commercialized vice? Does your wife know you are here? Do you seek to engage in espionage, sabotage, export control violations or any other illegal activity in Thailand? Are you involved in corruption? If so what is the level of your average bribery payment at the moment? Are you a member of a terrorist organization? Have you ever participated in genocide? Have you ever been directly involved in the coercive transplantation of human organs or bodily tissue? Have you ever committed torture (other than on a willing sexual partner)? Have you ever engaged in the recruitment or the use of child soldiers? Are you coming to the Thailand to practice polygamy? Are you a member of the Communist party? Are you a criminal seeking to hide from justice? Do you promise to tell the truth whenever we ask you a question? Are you Russian? Answer any incorrectly then you refuse entry. Simple
  7. I Know. Let's try to bring in more tourists. Thailand's infection rate is only running at about a million new cases a month. Let's waste loads more money by throwing it into the money pit of increasing tourism. Here's an idea, why not use it to help lower the infection rate figures. Trying to increase tourism is like trying to wipe your ass when the diarrhea is still flowing. Cork up the flow first before telling the world you smell sweet again.
  8. There is a degree of arrogance in TAT. Thailand is no longer the go to nation for those entering God's waiting room or wanting to flirt with beautiful girls.. It's heyday came and went but yet the Thai government act as if they are still top dog. They continue creating hoops and hurdles then moving them around making long term or short term stay really sticky and messy. I am not sure what they are trying to protect themselves from? Tourists and Wrinklies are their cash cows and should be given a red carpet not a bureaucratic minefield. If they just did the same as other countries where they want tourists. Allow entry for 60 days with a stamp on arrival as you go through passport control. Then a quick renewal system that allows up to 12 months stay with restricted reentry for 3 months afterwards. After that you need to apply for a long stay visa based on income, or permanent residency if you are married to a national. Simple and easy. Make the process simpler then people would want to stay here. Now the Philippines is the number one choice in most peoples books. Easy,Easy,Easy...
  9. SO MUCH SPIN!!! Just because people arrive doesn't mean they stay. Many like me use Bangkok as a transit point. Also people arrive by crossing the border to sell vegetables or to see family. Easing restrictions mean more cross the border. International arrivals in this case could include a fish seller and his family from Laos pulling a cart. And increasing by 200% can be going from 1 flight to 3. This also doesn't tell you where these international flights are going, but by putting it in this article they are inferring by association that these flights are coming to Thailand. It's manipulation of statistics and misinformation. You can't call it lying but it is dishonest. At least they are using real figures to make up this fake spin rather than the fictional COVID figures of the last 2 years.
  10. Looks like the next generation of dimwits is rolling in. "I've known her for 2 days so she is definitely not a wrongun. " Lucky she's a 2 day heartbreaker and not a 2-10 year job with Buffalo's dropping dead on her Dads farm 2-3 times a year. At least they left him his underpants.
  11. High End Tourists don't want to sit in a bar full of weed smoking back packers. Stop training elephants to play football and put them back in the Jungle. Get rid of the floating markets that are man made for tourists and clamp down on scammers.
  12. I assume something has been lost in translation as that looks like a pathway to take us back to a pandemic.
  13. Why do people think it's Ok to break the law so they can selfishly stay in somebody else's country. It's no different from someone making a sham marriage or submitted false qualifications so they can stay in Europe or the US. It hardly surprising this agent ran of with the money. Firstly because he is from Pattaya, and secondly because he is a criminal by the nature of his business. For those who were genuine I am sure they will get cut a break. But when they catch the agent he is likely to spill the beans for a lesser punishment so anyone involved in dodgy dealings may find there is no rock to crawl under this time. The feds will be coming for you.
  14. They've been watching too much Aquaman. That's how they take down rogue mermen or mermaids in Atlantis. I suppose they would work for spaced out, drunk tourists that were lying on the beach and not moving. Not sure how they would work in real life when the guy is standing up. Not really difficult to escape these clothes props.
  15. You're missing the point. It's not about the Ganja poison, but the susceptibility of people with certain health conditions to it's affect plus the affect of your mind. I used to know my safe level but I once had a Brownie at a friends house that I found out had 10 times the normal amount I would normally take. I went on a Psychotic trip I will never forget. Almost jumped to my death from a bridge. There needs to be some education on how much is too much. Don't touch it anymore myself.
  16. Education is key here. Yep you can eat it, and you can smoke it. The problem Marijuana dependency creeps up on you. 9% of users have a dependency disorder. People who begin using marijuana before the age of 18 are four to seven times more likely to develop a marijuana use disorder than adults* For alcohol dependency the figures are 6% ** But that means that over 90 of us use and enjoy booze and/or MJ without the problems. So there needs to be a focus on keeping the kids off it same a ciggies and booze. Once you're old enough to make a choice then what you shove into your body is your personal choice. I'm not against using it. Just want to make sure the benefits and dangers are part of the educational road map going forwards. * https://nida.nih.gov/publications/research-reports/marijuana/marijuana-addictive ** https://www.caron.org/blog/the-american-alcohol-problem
  17. Load probably, and now the Weeds going to increase that. Put too much Ganja in a cake or Som Tam and you can kill someone. There needs to be education as to how much is too much and the different types of Mary Jane. Personally I'd never touch the stuff, but everyone should have the Freedom to choose, same with ciggies or booze.
  18. Nope, just making jobs for the boys. Pointless jobs that they can sell off to someone for a piece of the salary. Free trips to the Netherlands to find out how people bake with pot so they can recognize a Weed Cake. Redeploying the idiots at TAT is suppose. If they didn't think of it before, they will now. Coming soon. The McDonalds very very very "Happy" meal with mini Ganjas bag and Collectable Bong toy.
  19. Mostly with a fan but I always give them an autograph afterwards. But we do turn the air con on if we get hot.
  20. Needing a permit scheme to sell to certain groups is. They will just grow it at home or get it from a friend. As I said, a total waste of time and money
  21. Google?..... All that means is it's no longer pointing down towards the toilet. You've been flushed away and now you're looking up from the bottom of the drain hole. Climbing back up is going to be a real tough job.
