Very timely topic for me. I now have an Iphone 5 so I gave my old Iphone 3gs to my wife. She has been having the EXACT same problems She had an AIS sim card and she also would have all the funds drain from her phone over night. She only uses it for phone calls and not internet.I had turned off everything I could think of . The only thing I can think of is that it must have something to do with incoming messages. She has the habit of deleting those.
she has now changed sim card to True and now has no problems.

Drop her like a dead donkey.....
Now....if there is property involved and what not....you have to deal with it differently.
The passport thingie sounds VERY fishy to me..
..and if she is prepared to do 'fishy' things to you, she is unsuitable in my books.
"Drop her like a dead donkey..." Ha Ha Ha Ha

Don't know if this will help but I understand that the American cowboys would circle their bed with a horse hair rope.
Me, I don't go tent camping here in Thailand, too many critters

You are very lucky to have the cat come to live at your house. People don't have cats, cats have people. This one seems to have picked you, so I think you are indeed very lucky.

Friend called from England complaining he had just got 6 points for going 36 in a 30MPH zone, thus racking up 12 points to get a 6 month ban, his other 6 points were for driving a clients VW camper when only having car insurance.
Then to contract 5 minutes after this conversation i see a Thai women putting her 18 month old toddler who can just about stand up between her legs put so he is standing on the footing section of her motorbike and then riding off.
Now both are wrong in my mind but <deleted> Thai people lets just have a little common sense, women like that should be sterlilised.
There wouldn`t be any fertile women around here then ...................

I hate those kind of plugs BUT they will plug into most Thai outlets otherwise most Big C and Tesco have the adapter and cost very little

Be very sure to not cook with salt until after they are soft OR they never will get soft

I think you are a very good son taking care of your mother. She will do just fine here. you must of course have a list of all needed medicines she will need and know where to find them. Will she be able to adjust to the weather here? Can she eat the foods available here?
Most important, she will have you for assistance and support. Her S.S. income is sufficient. She will probably need your help in filling out visa form and transportation.
You are a good person to take care of your mother. I think it would be way better for her to be here with you than some dreary old age rest home.
Hmmmm ! as stated above her income will fall short by 16,200 baht or about $500 per month. I am sure someone here on this forum can advise you how you can still make this work.

While on a recent visit to the U.S.A. I rented a Nisson Maxama. It had keyless entry and push button start and stop.
I was just wondering just what I would do IF THE BATTERY went dead in the key fob??????
