ONLY TRANSFER $U.S, DOLLARS you will lose money if you wire Baht. It is an on shore off shore thing. I lost several hundred $$$ on a transfer last year I have learned my lesson the hard way. My U.S. banker thought that he was giving good advise to first change to baht. DON"T do it.
Good luck

Thanks for this post as I love Mexican food, I come from So California.
Here in Thailand I make ----
Beef enchiladas, and my own refried beans, and pork tamales (I did have to bring masa flour back from the states) I would like to add to this post my recipe for red sauce.
1 Gallon Red sauce
1 med. onion diced
4 garlic cloves
1/3cup red powdered chile. We use New Mexico chile, its not too hot just flavorful.
1 qt. tomato sauce
1qt tomato puree
Salt and pepper to taste (about 2 tlbs)Not too much as you keep it a few days it gets stronger.
Mix all ingredients together and bring to boil and simmer about 20 minutes
In another pan fix a rue of about 1cup oil, and 1/2 cup flour.
At a simmer ,not fast boil, mix in flour and oil mixture
simmer until thickened. Then cool a bit and strain , to remove onion & garlic pieces.
Your sauce will be smooth and thin . When cool it will be thick.

Yesterday the wife and I were shopping at the Big C in Sa Kaeo. Were looking at the washing machines ,12,000 baht Panasonic. Upon close inspection I noticed that the machine I was interested in had been USED, I don't meann tested. The lint filter was full of debris and all manor of waste,
I now know for sure that they cannot be trusted.

First I want to say, I am a cat lover and would never kill a cat.
In the best tradition of old Chicago, I would take the mean cat for a “ride” and leave him at a Wat far from your house. He will not be killed there and will have another chance to live.

You don’t need that stuff for really good gravy...
1 or 2 tablespoons of butter in a frying pan and add a little bit of the steak drippings
Add 1 tablespoon of flour and stir until it gets brown
Then start to add a little water at a time and stir more until you get the consistency you like
Add salt and pepper to taste

WOW ! That looks really steep. I think ( know) I would die trying that'
But the down hill part looks great

I am very happy that you have made the decision to enter the hospital for treatment. My sister took me to the hospital 30 years ago for detox. I then was lucky enough to have a live in home for people from my industry who were also afflicted .
The first 30 days is VERY important. Read the Big Book and stay very close to the A.A. people. You need to attend many many many mettings. I used to go to 3 and sometimes 4 meetings a day. You will also do well to find a “sponsor”, someone who you can talk to. I would guess that you also smoke but don’t try to stop smoking at this time. Detox is just the first step ( but very important) on the road to recovery.
With the help of your “Higher Power” you will get your first chip (30 days) and then on towards your first year. I can tell you that it is NOT easy at times. When you feel that you need a drink, you need to hit a meeting pronto
Please feel free to email me at anytime
