  1. So this is a case only for education and work extensions? No problem if you want to apply for marriage extension or retirement extensions?
  2. But if the education extension is expired he can apply for other type of visa and extensions. Like in the case of marriage visas or retirement visa. When it's expired is automatically invalid anyway Or maybe it is a different case for education visa/extensions? It must be cancelled before applying for other type of visas or extensions?
  3. Not true. A friend of mine was married to a Thai but he got divorced and he remained in Thailand without cancel the extension based upon marriage. He left the country before the expiration of the extension and months later he got other type of visa and extension with no issues at all
  4. but if you pay more money it might last forever
  5. Just exit the country and then come back again. Many foreigners are paying visa agencies just to get a DTV to stay long term
  6. A friend of mine told me that you should add the last country that bring you to thailand on the country where you boarded. Immigration don't care if you have started to fly from your country of origin. So if you have a layover to another airport, just add the connecting flight that will bring you to thailand
  7. I always knew that is better to avoid extending DTV at immigration office. The best thing is to do a border bounce or just fly to another asian country and then come back. Easy easy! No stress
  8. So if for example you start to fly from UK, you should add UK on the country where you boarded, while you should add the connecting flight to Thailand as flight number, does it look fine like that?
  9. It's possible to add 2 flights number on the tdac flight number info? If the flight to Thailand has also one connecting flight before the arrival into the country. Just to avoid possible issues at the immigration
  10. it's just a free exemption stamp, not a tourist visa. And obtaining a tourist visa in your country is a proper visa by the way. I don't understand why you should be denied entry if you come back with a tourist visa every 6 months for example
  11. I said many times, just avoid female officers. They are bipolar and always moody
  12. Then just use the safe entry or try to stay out of Thailand for some months and then come back again
  13. Just use the safe entry at Bangkok airport and problem solved. You can come back as many times as you want with the safe entry It's just about pay more, make them happy and no issues
  14. Always these female officers make trouble, nothing new. Just use safe entry and problem solved. Easy Better avoid to come back to Thailand after just a few days out of the country, but no issues with the safe entry service
  15. If your flight start from UK but you have another flight from China (connecting flight) and then you arrive to Thailand, what's the country that you have to fill on the country where you boarded? UK or China? As is the connecting flight that will bring you to Thailand And what flight number you must fill in? The flight number from UK or the flight number from China to Thailand?
  16. there are agencies that help. No problem anyway
  17. And could it be a problem if I might not want to add a departure flight? I see isn't mandatory anyway
  18. Do you recommend to also add the e-visa number on the tdac online form or it could be skipped? You will have to show the e-visa document to the officer anyway
  19. Could immigration invalidate your tourist e-visa number once you added it on the online tdac form 3 days in advance you come to Thailand? Or it would be impossible? I know it's a silly question but am just a bit paranoid 😂. Maybe the visa number is only for people that have a re-entry permit and are coming back to Thailand? Or the visa number on the tdac is also for people that are coming to Thailand with a tourist e-visa?
  20. let's say you got a tourist e-visa from your embassy in your country. Should you also write your visa number on the TDAC registration or you could just leave it blank? It looks like isn't mandatory to fill the visa number
  21. Understood. However, I was thinking that when you are nearly to finish your 180 days and you need to leave the country and come back to get a new stamp of 180 days, maybe immigration officer at the airport or even at the border could ask you to show financial requirements, as immigration office use to do for marriage or retirement extension for example. Maybe requirements are asked only if someone wants to extend the DTV inside the country to the immigration office, without having to exit the country
  22. I mean, he came back to thailand to extend 180 days of DTV?
  23. it was an entry for another 180 days? I mean, it was an extension? If so, didn't they want you to show financial requirements on your bank account and more documents, like immigration office use to do?
  24. My friend will stay to his friend's house and they will go to report his stay at his local immigration when it will open again, after songkran. It's not his fault if immigration is closed on weekends and on songkran. I don't think they would fine him for reporting late as they are closed
