  1. My friend has successfully uploaded all papers to the online application but he doesn't know what type of ticket out of thailand to buy. Do you think it is too expensive to buy a flexible ticket around 65 USD? At least he could cancel it later and take money back. He doesn't really trust on buying dummy ticket even is much cheaper
  2. I mean the biodata page of the passport, not the photo. When the system scans his passport info tells him that is unable to read data on middle name but my friend doesn't have any middle name
  3. My friend uploaded a photo of the passport but the system tells him that is unable to read data on middle name but he doesn't have a middle name on his passport. Can he ignore it and just complete the application? He is afraid that the embassy could reject his paid visa
  4. A friend of mine has booked a flight to Thailand for June and he is submitting an online visa application on the thai e-visa website. They are asking him an onward flight out of Thailand within 60 days, a photo not older than 6 months and a proof of accomodation. Can he just buy an onward ticket that is valid for 48 hours and upload the booking reservation to the online application? About the photo how can he upload it? It's fine to take a selfie with the phone? And about the proof of accomodation can he book an hotel for a week and after they approve his visa application just cancel the booking free of charge? Let me know thanks They also ask him about the job but he prefers not to mention his company. Can he just choose any job that he doesn't do?
  5. Does it works fine to upload an onward flight that is available only for 48 hours on the thai e-visa website to get a 60 days tourist visa? Can someone let me know? If yes how to do if also the airline could ask for this onward flight out of thailand when arrive at the airport? Because the onward ticket would not be valid anymore at that time
  6. I forgot to ask: there is need to show an onward flight out of Thailand within 60 days at the immigration arrival at the airport or to the airline If you got a 60 days tourist visa in your home country?
  7. I am already in Thailand. Just looking for an advice on how to stay here for 6 months. Then go back to my country and come back again every year
  8. It's possible to come to Thailand one time a year and stay for 6 months? Come with 30 days free visa exemption, then extend 30 days at immigration and start to do a few border run with extension at immigration. So 180 days total! Is there anyone who has done this often?
  9. Thank you for the information. Can someone tell me what's the process to apply for a METV online? How many papers to provide for the e-visa website? My friend is thinking to apply for a multiple tourist visa to stay longer in Thailand. He comes from England
  10. the last time he had a normal 30 days exempt with some border runs was years ago, after he married but he got divorced but now he would like to come back as a tourist after he left thailand since 6 months
  11. I am asking for a friend of mine! Does it worth to make a new passport if the current one has too many stamps but it still has many free pages? My friend would like to come back to thailand but he is afraid that immigration officer could deny him to enter because of too many stamps on his passport. By the way he is abroad right now and it's already 6 months that is out of thailand
  12. I do 2 border run. 30+30 extension at the local immigration. After that I do a few border runs. Total 4 months
  13. People here are too paranoid. Why it should be a problem if someone wants to come to Thailand every 6 months for example? It's not mandatory to get a proper visa if the intention is to stay in Thailand only for 4/6 months. Everybody could come with a 30 days exempt . I stay 4/6 months in Thailand and the rest in my country. After come back to Thailand, no issues at all
  14. The issue you could have is if immigration officer at the airport will check that you have too many exempt stamps in your passport, he could complain or not, is up to him. I come back to Thailand with a 30 days visa exempt but I don't leave the country every month, I am just doing a few border runs and after that I will exit. I like to come back to Thailand every 6 months or a year, I think no issues if you do like that
  15. I flew a couple of months ago and before buying a plane ticket I asked the airline live agent for information if it was necessary to buy an onward flight too! they told me that they did not interest to ask for a return ticket or onward flight. I bought it anyway, just in case, paid it just 12 USD. When I arrived at the check in counter(I checked in online too) the staff didn't ask me for it, also the immigration officer at the airport in Bangkok didn't ask for it
  16. You can do border run or apply for a 60 days tourist visa at the Thai embassy in Laos
  17. Why use e-visas when you can just go to Thailand with a free 30 days visa at the airport? You could just extend your stay at your local immigration, very easy and you can save money. Or maybe people from new Zealand can't get a visa exempt, I don't know
  18. Just buy an onward flight within 30 days of the 30 days visa exempt. Very easy
  19. Can someone suggest me an onward flight that always works? For what country for example
  20. Calm down guys, don't bite too much lol. I've already booked a one way ticket and I will buy an onward flight at the airport, very easy 😝
