Do you have to go to get the final stamp the last day of your under consideration period? Or you can also go to the immigration a few days in advance?

Re-entry at immigration or airport?
Jack1988 replied to AustinRacing's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Get it at the immigration. Much better and safer. I wouldn't take any risk at the airport (maybe a long queue and bye bye flight ✈️) -
Leaving without cancelling work permit
Jack1988 replied to brewsterbudgen's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
The best thing is to come to Thailand as a retired and enjoy the rest of your life here. Jobs make you too tired and stressed, not so good to live here. This is just my personal opinion -

To be honest, I would never leave my Thai wife for over 1 year. She could be cheating on you

I would never let my visa almost expire in 2 weeks. I always renew it one month in advance or 45 days in advance. Why wait until the last 2 weeks?

I just renewed my annual marriage extension and yes I already knew that now immigration need two copies of every paper work because I went to ask one month in advance before submitting my application. They also wanted my wife and I signed all of our photos around and outside the house. We prepared all the paper work in hour house as we have a printer, the next day we went to submit it to the immigration and everything went great. Payed just 1900 BHT!
