Honestly I knew that there was something weird, I mean that he was very quiet in the last months, he even stopped to answer me. I am so sorry that he is dead! He was a very good person, I could feel that, even if I never meet him. REST IN PEACE JOE

People here still haven't understood that we are only farangs in this country. We have no rights here

Just got the third year final stamp based on marriage. I was on under consideration, went to the immigration today, they stamp the final extension! Didn't even ask me to see if I still have 400k in my bank account. Everything easy and fast, well done immigration ????????

You mis -read the post. His employer has to be satisfied that all is legal. Fully legal
Many are working here from home, for a company that is abroad, and they never needed that all is legal

I am too young to stay on a retirement visa, but I can say that I've never had any type of issue with an extension based on marriage. I pay only 1900 bhat a year at my local immigration office and my Thai wife pays almost everything for me

Why don't you renew your passport first and after that enter Thailand? Easy...
I would never enter thailand with less than 6 month valid passport!- 5

On the date prescribed.
You could contact immigration to see if it's ready early.
Ok thanks for the answer

Do you have to go to get the final stamp the last day of your under consideration period? Or you can also go to the immigration a few days in advance?

You have to wait for the under consideration period, after that you can. Easy!. But I've heard some people using an agent do not have to wait, they can withdraw money even while on the under consideration period

Get it at the immigration. Much better and safer. I wouldn't take any risk at the airport (maybe a long queue and bye bye flight ✈️)

If you live in Thailand you will not expect fair ????
Especially when comparing Thai men's rights to have their falang wife get Thai citizenship vs Thai women's rights to have their Falang husband get Thai citizenship
Yes, this is the Far West ????

I think isn't fare(and also ridiculous) that a falang female doesn't have to provide some requirements as a falang male must do. But good that my Thai wife pays everything for me, even if I have money

There haven't been any changes. If that happens by accident, okay, things happen. But you really shouldn't be planning to do that, especially if you want to work in Thailand again later.
The best thing is to come to Thailand as a retired and enjoy the rest of your life here. Jobs make you too tired and stressed, not so good to live here. This is just my personal opinion
