Can’t say for certain in Bangkok - but in Kanchanaburi many people are carried around on the back of utes and trucks - as many as a dozen in the back of a Revo!. I regularly carry children (my extended family, not randoms!!) on the back of my ranger. A few weeks ago I had 4 family members on the back for a day trip from Kanchanaburi to HuaHin. See many police - but never had an issue. Where the BIB will hassle you is if you carry people on the back on toll roads or ‘freeways’.

I am a car tragic, with an unhealthy passion for performance vehicles and have had way too many V8s! (mainly unhealthy for my bank balance)
I have little knowledge of EVs, and have looked scornfully at offerings such as the Mini Electric - with its ridiculous short range.
I looked at the BYD seal a few weeks ago - and I can honestly say that if I was in the market for a new car now, I would snap one of these up!
Cars are ridiculously expensive in Thailand - so the apparent quality of the Seal, with its decent range and high level of spec make it a decent option here in LOS.
It's a resounding Yes from me...

In Australia the aim of Road Safety personnel & decision makers is Zero Fatalities.
Here , the aim is to try to reduce the death rate to 12 per 100,000 population.
I wonder if Anutin, or the police/ traffic police are happy for themselves or members of their families to be part of the 12/100,000 that they are prepared to lose?

They are NOT 6 month old puppies. The female has mammary development and large teats, so she has most likely had a litter.
The male has <deleted> nearly as big as mine!!- so again , he is not 6 months!

If tourists (from any country) based their decisions on where to holiday from information from drama films and series - nobody would travel anywhere!
It is ridiculous to assume that this film is solely responsible for keeping the Chinese hordes at bay.
How dumb are these people? (rhetorical question).
In case I am incorrect I suggest 'No More Bets' be screened at least once a month on the Chinese National Broadcaster to maintain the status quo

Actually some of the street dogs get rabies which is very much still endemic on Thailand (cats too but less frequent).
Parvo is also quite common here on dogs.
I have seen epidemics of feline panleukopenia virus sweep through vilaages and wipe out the cat population (stray, quasi-stray and other, since many rural Thais do not immunize their pets). One year it was only my (vaccinated) cats out of several villages that did not get sick and die.
Over the years I have taken in many strays. 2 of the cats had Feline leukemia (vaccine preventable) and one of the dogs had Parvo (ditto).
There are many vaccine preventable diseases among street dogs and cats here. The ones one tends to see are the hardier ones that survived nonetheless.
Interesting to read this information.
I think that I have just become very cynical (as opposed to clinical!)
In Australia, I vaccinated animals every day for over 35 years. All dogs were vaccinated against Distemper, despite the fact that the only case I ever saw was a dog with Old Dog Encepalitis in the UK in 1986! My justification for vaccine recommendation was more to emphasise the need for annual health checks moreso than the health benefits of the vaccine itself. I was running a business - and needed bums on seats!
Edit: I have never seen a case of Feline Panleukopaenia! Australia/US/UK or here

A temporary vaccine can be given after 6 weeks. 'Permanent' shot at 12 weeks or more. Annual boosters are suggested.
Most vets will give a combine FEV & cat flu shot , which will require a flu booster 4 weeks after the initial shot.
As a retired vet, I have become a bit slack here in Thailand. (Maybe because I am paying for it now 555)
My cat had primary vaccinations as a kitten - nothing since.
My dogs had primary Distemper, hepatitis,Parvo & Canine Cough shots, as well as Rabies vaccines. They have had nothing since. (2 years now). There are so many street dogs and cats around here, which would have had no vaccinations - and none of them get sick!!! External parasites - ticks & fleas are the main issue here.

I would suggest that if she has time for the ticket to be reissued with the correct spelling - do it now.
I had some dramas in Seoul recently when my name was misspelt on my boarding pass - definitely not worth the hassle!
It is their mistake - get them to fix it.

I have become a real Apple Fanboy!
I have a 14" M2 Pro. (Also an M1 Mac Mini, a 2 year old 11" iPad Pro, & as of yesterday an iPhone 15ProMax, to replace my 12PM)
I am happy with my Mac Book. It is very fast, and has plenty of oomph to perform any photography or video editing tasks I need to do.
It is quite hefty, compared with the iPad. It can get a little warm with extended use - but has never crashed on me.
I tell a lie - it did crash once. My bloody cat knocked it off my desk - it landed on its corner & cracked the screen , which eventually went black after a few days. 20K Baht later - new screen - all good again.
I am not sure what the improvements of the 24 Mac will be, but I am happy with this one.
When I need to replace/update - I might just stick with iPad and smart keyboard.

I had a period where I loved to listen to Ladysmith Black Mambazo
I travelled to Morocco in late 80s - a different part of Africa I know- but I hated it - never want to return.
Explored the Kenyan game parks and Nairobi in 88 . Absolutely loved it! Would I go back? Yes. Would I live there? Never!!

110 volts = Won't kill you
220 volts = Might kill you

It is not the voltage that kills you - it is the amperage.
Standard Electric fence units have very high voltage, but low amps. - often up to 8000V , but only about 120 mAmps.
This guy obviously used mains electricity - a big no-no!

I found mine on the ThaiFriendly website. She's a very pretty 20-year-old university student, from a somewhat poor family of food vendors in an outer Bangkok suburb.
I'm 64 (but I l don't look a day over 63.) I'm not especially handsome, so to compensate, I pay her handsomely. (I pay her by the visit, by the way - which helps to keep her motivated. I think it would be crazy to pay for such a service once a month in advance. And we don't go out on "dates". All of our time together is spent in my apartment, where she is comfortable enough to stay all night every time.)
I've been seeing her once a week for about a year now. SHE always calls ME to see if I'm available when she has a day off, and the sex is great - at least for me, and apparently for her as well - since, as I said, she's always calling me to see if I'm available for her to visit. Or maybe she just likes the good money for the not terribly unpleasant sex. Because she's new at this (I am her first sugar daddy/first farang), she still does it like she enjoys it. I keep expecting her to slack off, but she hasn't yet.
Since I've been taking care of her, I have noticed that her lifestyle has improved considerably (new iPhone, nice new clothes, etc.), which is the whole point of the relationship for her. I am happy to see her life getting better, and she certainly makes my life better.
She has another year left with her studies, and I get the feeling that she would like to continue our arrangement at least until she graduates. From my perspective, I'm satisfied enough with the arrangement that I'm in no hurry to end it.
Michael Hunt (AKA Mike). Are you serious?
Rumour has it you are distantly related to Richard Cranium.
