The above screenshot is based on 1 overnight charge only I suspect it may vary a little after a few charges It's pretty much in line with what I thought... 68% of original power I can cope with this battery for another few months then it's a choice between a new battery or a new poco x5 Pro!

Not seeing that on this device settings/battery Anyone have an app that can tell me it..... TIA
-
Totally agree As regards this fast charging fast draining I think it's a sign that my battery needs replacing. What would be the point of fast charging if it just fast drained too?! It's 2.5 yrs old after all. Just need a decent replacement, not easy on Lazada

That is well put, thanks In my OP i said "Can I use a 6A 120 watt cable on a phone which came with a 3.1A 33w cable?" In fact what i meant it was a 33w charger(box). The phone and charger will support fast charging at up to 33watts So if my understanding is correct now, is that i can get a cable that supports faster charging than that, but it will only go as fast as the device/charger(33w) its connected to. As long as it functions like that im happy I might add the correct speed (or higher )USB C cables permit the phone to tell you the exact charging rate eg 67.75% and you can then see it rising very rapidly Other generic USB C cables just say eg 68% and do not charge at the correct speed even with same device/charger box Im wondering what exactly it is about the cable that allows my phone to display this 'reassuring' fast charging info That said, on another matter, whenever i 'fast' charge my phone(with original cable) the battery seems to drain quicker than when i 'slow' charge it

yes thanks, thats what is was inferring in my OP I just didnt want it blowing my box(so to speak!) as they are expensive i shall now invest in a faster cable but accept original speed which is fast enough for me ( 1 hour a full charge) thanks again

Can I use a 6A 120 watt cable on a phone which came with a 3.1A 33w cable? I know using less power(2.4a) doesn't work. But wondering if you use a more powerful cable it will just charge the phone at a max of 33w as that all the charger box can handle?? This is for a Poco x3 nfc(xiaomi). The later models had even faster charging hence the higher specification cables. Wondering if I could use one albeit not benefit from the full speed. They are more readily and cheaply available than the ones that came with mine originally Thanks in advance

Ssliw(a second opinion)?? Also actual cost is 115, 000 not 125 as I originally thought Isn't Siriraj the place that's almost impossible to get seen at as a non Thai speaking farang ? I've have a feeling that I tried them the last time(fusion biopsy) and just couldn't get them to respond. And if memory serves me rightly that was a private patient. But I like you're thinking, just wondering if practically possible Clearly something makes you think it might be cheaper....

Yes my pay day comment was a little misleading. I know it's high tech equip and has to come from Bkk too(to HH) about once per month. After the last Fusion biopsy the conclusion was PIRADS 3. Then after the MRI scan last week he concluded PIRADS 4. So my gut reaction was 'do we still need the biopsy then?' Anyways, further reading suggests it's wise Thanks again and for UK GP comment PS to all.... how do I get these godforsaken video adverts off my feed(mobile)?? ????????

Fair comment. Good news re MPMRI and good luck Boomer -
yes but how long does it take to see your GP who can then refer you to the specialist at the local Hospital? so total time from phoning GP surgery to getting surgery apologies if this answered later im still reading the thread
-
still wading through this excellent thread as re reregister with GP i have been out of UK for 3.5 yrs at what point does my GP surgery say im no longer registered with them? i still own my house so no probs there thanks
-
slowly reading this entire thread.... what cost this treatment please ? thanks
-
to be clear im due to have my third if not fourth biopsy next week since diagnosis in 2016 it will be my second MRI Fusion TRUS biopsy in 20 months where they use the MRI scan to pinpoint exactly where to take samples this is to check the progress of the cancer
-
i completely agree with you both( i once had a hernia op in UK privately and im utterly convinced i never needed it!) to be fair no Thai doc has suggested surgery yet and if they did i would get at least one other opinion but as per my OP i would be most interested to receive any intel on best places to go for PC surgery/treatment (other than UK where im from) as and when i need to do that thanks for all replies to date

Sheryl PSA 8 rising to 11.2 over 4 yrs MRI fusion TRUS biopsy may '21 showed gleason 3+3 in 60% of cores of one specific area. Assessed as PIRADS 3 Doc wants it repeating as part of active surveillance. Have to do MRI scan before MRI fusion TRUS biopsy. Mri scan assessed PIRADS 4 Biopsy next week
-
PSAs slowly increasing now 11.2 Im overdue timewise apparently. Should be annually(now he tells me, didnt state that at last biopsy!) For various reasons it will end up being 20 months so he recently told me repeat biopsy asap the MRI scan showed adenocarcinoma same size but "abnormalities" increased from PIRADS 3 to 4 im definitely not against another biopsy i was just wondering how necessary it was IF treatment/surgery is now required. Just wondered if others had got treatement/surgery when entering PIRADS 4 ie at what stage do they take action ? But im probably jumping the gun and will probably require another biopsy for more detailed analysis of growth and gleason score Sheryl, is the gleason score the be all and end all and ultimate point of the biopsy? Thanks

Hey Boomer, i hope youre doing ok did you do any more research on surgery out of Thailand? would appreciate any intel TIA -
Yes! youre a star!

Very sorry to hear that Sir Of course, its the lesser of two evils, but its still an evil all the same, well it is at this stage of my condition. Please understand ive had low grase PC for 6.5 years so in that time i do worry about the side effects of the treatemnt/ surgery as my condition was not regarded as dangerous But its now moving that way Its sounds like you never had the time to even worry about that I assume you had a Prostatectomy. Open or robot?
-
See above, sorry my bad i definitely ahve Prostate Cancer The biopsy will probably reveal more but the last one concluded i was PIRADS 3 So after the MRI a few days ago he said i was PIRADS 4, i thought well now we know that is there any point in the biopsy? Hence asking others of their experiences there probably is(a reason) so im awaiting his(Urologist) reply
-
My bad. Yes diagnosed prostate cancer 2016(Gleason 3+3) Had several MRIs and at least 2 biopsies under the active surveillance programme

Sixty Becoming impotent and/or incontinent scares the living **** out of me!

Sorry for being thick how do I find that thread? Thanks

Completely agree! You make an excellent point But I need to establish at what point am I 'red-lining'?! But like you suggest I'll need convincing that it actually needs removing/radiation etc.
