There are 2 levels of healing on extracted teeth... Level one is 7-10 days later...The hole has almost fully closed and you can chew soft food somewhat with the gums but the gums are still kind of sore and not fully healed. Level two, about 6 weeks later, the gums are almost fully healed...And your soft food chewing ability with gums is very much improved with almost no pain as long as you don't chew anything hard... So I think 6 weeks minimum for dentures....
