  1. Point out those 'crazy comments'. In the one trial he could not delay---because he didn't appoint the judge, it is not under the purview of the Supreme Court (where he appointed 3 judges and where a 4th evidenced support for the "Stop the Steal" fallacy), and where he doesn't have a Repub Governor, he was found guilty by a jury of his peers. That is how the American Justice System works. The convicted felon doesn't seem to like it when he cannot get undeserved favorable treatment. I wonder how many people---even those who have a Security Clearance, which he never had (Presidents are not given a security clearance, and certainly do not have one after being defeated or leaving office)---would not already be in jail awaiting trial for such a massive theft of highly classified documents? You cannot argue the facts, so can only resort to a silly comment. You should take your condoms off.
  2. I see you're a real Law and Order type. If you read the indictment, now conviction, all will be clear. He engaged in fraud in service of another crime. In NY State that is a felony. A jury of his peers found the evidence compelling, so he is now a convicted felon. As for paying for the services of a lady...that did not happen. He paid to keep her quiet about services rendered. What he did with her is up to his 3rd wife to decaide if that is okay; the court was only concerned with the fraud involved in covering it up. Do you have an opinion on whether any of us have stolen thousands of highly classified documents? Is that something anyone would do, and then lie about returning what he had no right to possess? How about how many of us have called the SecState of Georgia and pressured him to engage in voter fraud? How many of us fomented an insurrection by first calling our supporters to DC for 6 Jan 21, and then telling them to march to the Capitol and fight like hell? I cannot speak for other members, but I have never done that, nor did I ever engage in a fake elector scheme to subvert the wishes of the American people.
  3. I think both the cultists and rational people can agree on one thing....kind of like that proverbial Chinese Curse of 'May you live in interesting times': He is a man of conviction.
  4. Wow, you're adding such value to the Forum! Why did you wait so long to join and deprive the members of your 'wisdom'? Obviously you have no actual point to make, just attacks. One might reasonably infer from your comments that you hate the American system, rule of law, and democracy.
  5. The uber entitled white male is barking about 'unfair' justice system. Frankly, he's as guilty as an innocent Black man (many who served decades for crimes they did not commit).. The typical defendant cannot delay delay delay. The typical defendant did not appoint the judge who will handle his case. The typical defendant didn't appoint 3 Supreme Court Justices who have helped hold up accountability. The convicted felon both indicted (figuratively) and declared guilty, plus sentenced his 2016 opponent ("Lock Her Up!"), but when the system follows all the rules and finds him guilty, suddenly it's all UNFAIR! He has called the current President a criminal, despite there being no charges. In the past he demanded the Central Park Five be convicted and executed, despite DNA evidence they were innocent (but they were Black). Now the system treated him as equal under the law and found him guilty, and his lifelong sense of entitlement says that is somehow unfair. Too bad. Guilty. Convicted Felon.
  6. If the cult didn't exist, the Repubs could have a cakewalk to the White House by choosing a non-convicted felon candidate. The cult runs too deep, however. Own goal. GUARANTEED the convicted felon will become even more deranged, violent and bizarre as we move forward. That is going to alienate more swing voters than the conviction itself. The cult is going to stay with him no matter what, just as members of his cult here are doing. Swing voters, however, are key. Had the convicted felon not installed his daughter-in-law as head of the RNC, rationality and pragmatism might have entered and Repubs would have dropped him and chosen Haley or DeSantis of someone who could beat Biden.
  7. Whataboutism! Nice try. Please explain how the convicted felon is actually innocent. LOL
  8. Yes, he will become even more unhinged, which likely appeals to the brain addled. The cult thinks a bloated, whiny crybaby is somehow an Alpha Male, when in reality he is a weak, insecure little child who finally had his lifelong cocoon pierced. No daddy to co-sign his loans nor bail him out. Cults gonna cult. No difference between the convicted felon's cult and Jim Jones cult. He's already led somewhere on the order of 1200 of his cult members to jail for the 6 Jan 2021 insurrection, which is the equivalent of the original 'drinking of the Koolaid'.
  9. Then he became a convicted felon for nothing. Somehow, it seems karmic.
  10. Regarding sentencing and any possible prison term, a few things might have impact on the judge's decision: ---10 Gag Order violations ---Is the convicted felon remorseful or not? ---Has any underling accused in the same criminal activity been sentenced to jail? Tonight via social media (TS) we will see if the convicted felon shows any remorse. Also, an underling in this criminal incident---Michael Cohen---was jailed for his part. Thus, the leader of the criminal activity is more likely to get similar treatment.
  11. Another bit of fallout from the conviction: A convicted felon is not allowed to receive classified briefings. Low level classified briefings are usually part of the pricess for the two Party candidates. By law, the convicted felon is now not able to receive them.
  12. Got your talking points, eh? No surprise it comes from a network filled with admitted Performance Artists and which was fined $787 million for lying about Dominion Voting Machines, and still faces a $1.2 billion lawsuit for lying about Smartmatic Voting Systems. Get this: a jury of his peers found him guilty. How ironic that the convicted felon demanded the Central park Five be executed, even after DNA evidence found them innocent. He took out a full page ad in the NYT's to demand conviction and execution. He expects special treatment because of who he thinks he is, yet remember when he told cops to "don't be so gentle" putting suspects in the police cruiser. Obviously he doesn't believe in 'innocent until proven guilty' for typical suspects, but cries about the system when it finds him a convicted felon.
  13. No surprise, House Repubs have asked the Governor of NY to pardon the convicted felon. Unlikely she will do as they wish.
  14. Obviously you hate, or at minimum do not understand, the American system. You don't understand Rule of Law, a jury of one's peers, innocent until PROVEN guilty. You do not like democracy. In the US, NOBODY is above the law. Deal with it.
  15. Sad, but undeniably true. He will foment violence. In his campaign he will bark about the 'rigged and corrupt' Justice system and promise to destroy 250 years of the American Experiment. Equally sadly, there is a subset of voters who hate the American system, hate democracy, and hate equality of all under the law. I worry for the jurors, should their identities become known.
  16. Your post is both irrational and absurdly accusative. What makes those who support DEMOCRACY and RULE OF LAW "leftist fascists"? The guy committed crimes, and per the US system of justice, he was found guilty by a jury of his peers. He has abused the system with his attempts to delay delay delay, but in the one instance where he could not force a delay, he was found guilty. As I regularly ask---regarding his other indictments: -Why did he steal thousands of highly classified documents? Why did he lie about returning them? ---Why did he pressure the GA SecState to "just find me...11,780 votes" ---Why did he call his goobers to DC for 6 Jan 2021 Tweeting, "It'll be WILD!" ---Why did he encourage his goobers to "march to the Capitol" and "fight like hell", when the VP was doing his duty of accepting the election result certifications from all the States and territories? It is now fact that he engaged in fraud to try to unfairly influence the election. Guilty. Convicted felon.
  17. Don't like Rule of Law, eh? Non-fascists and those who believe in democracy and the American Experiment also support the Rule of Law. In a Third World s-hole, he would have gotten off. In a nation where ALL ARE EQUAL under the law, and NO ONE is above the law, he was found guilty by a jury of his peers.
  18. Let's use some of the convicted felon's own words about migrants to describe what the Republicans---so far---plan to send to the voters in November: "They're sending us their felons!" Not sure if the guy can still win, as swing voters might be affected. Also, the Convicted Felon is likely to rant about how he will take down 'the corrupt and rigged US system', and that will hurt him with the same swing voters. Perhaps---just perhaps---Republicans will do the right and smart thing and choose someone else as their candidate. Might be their only chance.
  19. The sentencing is the 11th. Perhaps---if, indeed, jail is imposed---he will be given time for a Victory Loser Lap at the Convention. I do hope the jury members are put in some kind of protection program, because the Convicted Felon's cult is both crazy and violent.
  20. The CAPS function is going to be worn out on Truth Social tonight. The Convicted Felon is going to play petulant child all night. Somehow I have the sneaking suspicion one more person is smiling: his 3rd wife.
  21. "Don the Con" To paraphrase from the OJ trial: If the name fits, you cannot acquit.
  22. How ironic that the Republican National Convention is July 15th.
  23. Add it to the resume: Convicted Felon What was his famous chanr back in 2016, based on NO conviction of his then-opponent? Well, now it could be him: Lock Him Up! He is no longer allowed the privilege of voting in the State he chose to reside in, Florida. Neither is he allowed the 2nd Amendment right of gun ownership anywhere. Since it was a State trial, he cannot even pardon himself, nor can an (R) President, should any of the two win in November. It is now up to a judge. the defendant has repeatedly attacked. to award him a sentence, which could be jail. Orange jumpsuit. It was likely the defendant's idea to deny the affairs with Stormy and McDougal. It is likely that lessened any credibility he might have had. Question: Who in this world thinks the defendant's 3rd wife believes he didn't schtupp the two women? In any event, Convicted Felon. Somewhere E Jean Carroll and Stormy are smiling, along with perhaps hundreds of stiffed subcontractors. Schadenfreude..
  24. Since the jury is in the deliberation stage, now is the time for idle speculation. Yesterday the jury sent two notes out to the judge. The first asked for more information and details of the Pecker testimony as well as the ‘catch and kill’ scheme to prevent negative info affecting the defendant’s election chances. That suggests they have moved well past Michael Cohen and how the defense tried to make the case all about Cohen’s credibility. Not good for the defendant. The second note asked the judge to reiterate the jury instructions. The idea of ‘beyond a reasonable doubt’ is often misinterpreted as ‘no doubt whatsoever’, when in reality it means what seems absent of doubt to a reasonable extent. For example, I have no reasonable doubt that Elvis is dead, but since I never saw the body and there are still people saying Elvis is in the house, I cannot say 100% Elvis is dead. Of course he is, just like the defendant schtupped Stormy and McDougal and paid to keep it out of the news so as not to affect his chances in the wake of the Access Hollywood tape. Zero 'reasonable doubt', despite their being no horrific video of their trysts...thankfully. I would guess there is currently zero chance of an acquittal, so the only hope the defendant has of not being declared a convicted felon is a hung jury. Incidentally, becoming a convicted felon has consequences. The felon will no longer be able to own a firearm in the US, and if he has any in his country club or anywhere else, he will have to turn them over to law enforcement. Additionally, he will no longer be allowed to vote in the State where he lives, Florida. The maximum sentence, if I read the news correctly, is 4 years in prison. Now there’s a silver lining there for the consummate grifter: he can begin to sell all sorts of merchandise carrying his name and "2028".
