  1. BPC157 is a naturally occurring peptide, but production diminishes with age. The increased blood flow brought about by certain exercises, however, is the item that caught my attention in the research. The BPC157 injections are just an enhancement. The exercise might provide the benefit. As for 'enhancements' coming out of China, I guess I'm a bit hesitant. I'm sure there are wonderful and safe products coming out of China, but since I know about bad dog food and bad baby formula, I tend toward caution. I also know that the fitness and longevity space is now peppered with charlatans, conmen, and paid influencers. While I do take a few supplements, I have refined my belief to engaging in regular strenuous exercise, getting good sleep, and being thankful for the genes I inherited
  2. I'll try to find it, but I read some recent research that says tendons can be strengthened even as one ages. It has to do with blood flow to the area and how the cells that make up tendons respond to certain peptides. There is a trend now for athletes to get BPC157 and other peptide injections to promote healing.
  3. Setting physical challenges is best, because it pays dividends, even if one fails. As a yout (My Cousin Vinny) I could easily dunk a basketball. Fast twitch muscle fibers are the first to go. I've set myself a challenge of doing it again, and apparently one can re-introduce/re-awaken fast twitch fibers with the right exercise program. A second challenge, given by Dr Peter Attia, is a 2 minute dead hang. I'm almost there. Attia also says a two minute Farmer's Walk carrying your weight (easy) and bench pressing 1.5x your body weight (also not too hard) is a sign of good fitness. The dead hang is quite tough. Also, it seems baskets are a bit higher now, though I know they are not. Or maybe gravity has picked up a notch, as I'm the same weight I was at 18. Anyway, life is all about setting challenges.
  4. Many many pages and opinions into this incident, perhaps it's time to let it breathe (myself included), and let all the facts come out. I'll admit to being led to a conclusion---which could well be dead wrong---watching the spliced video that includes CCTV camera footage from inside the Helicopter Bar.
  5. The spliced video, which includes CCTV from the bar, does seem to suggest who threw the first punches, as it begins with the genesis of the seeming disagreement and the sudden appearance of the guards, all the way to the first punch. I responded to that fellow not necessarily with proven facts, but an alternative to his apparent beliefs that the guys deserved the beating. The video evidence does not point to them deserving any sort of beating. Unlike the poster to whom I responded, I'm neither condemning the guards nor the customers, but questioning his assertion that the Brits deserved it. Perhaps you will ask him why they deserved it.
  6. Then maybe a '59 Chateaux Margaux? Personally, I'd prefer an '86 Biondi Santi Brunello. Anyway, I'm going to add my suite to the bill, too. It's only 543,000 baht per night.
  7. I meant in the reputational sense. If Pattaya's reputation is already lower than whale puke, then you are right. I do think the authorities will be compelled to engage in some sort of damage control, as UK tabloids and other media probably cover it in detail. A Prefect Renault response is not going to be enough.
  8. Why are you glad? Because the guy in the white t-shirt refused to pay another customer's bill, and did not---as has been claimed---break any bargirl's nose? I'm going to High Tea at the Oriental today. I might even sit and linger, ordering a bottle or two of '61 Petrus. I'll let the cashier know you are going to cover it for me.
  9. As I noted on the other (now closed) thread, this video will go viral internationally, and the reputation of the "Family Resort", where prostitution does not exist, is going to take a hit. I am waiting to see what sort of damage control the authorities will pursue. The women in the video are not dressed as coyish and demure office workers or 7-11 checkout clerks, so viewers will draw their own conclusions as to the type of work they do. Thailand likes to pretend what draws tourists to it, but it does not seem that it's only temples and spicy food. Even so-called quality tourists often go have a look-see on Walking Street, Soi Cowboy, Nana Plaza and perhaps also Soi 6. I would guess the reason the 'entertainment' industry has not been totally eradicated is both because the authorities know full well it draws tourists, and also because so many Thais make a living owning or working in such venues. In the major tourist areas of Pattaya and Bangkok, Thailand is largely bars, agogos, massage shops, weed shops....and Indian tailors. Expat retirees living in the countryside and visiting the local temple every day might argue that agogos, etc. are not the 'real' Thailand, but the fact is that is the reputation Thailand has around the world.
  10. The spliced video is on YouTube, including the CCTV inside Helicopter Bar. There is zero evidence in the video of any cashier or bargirl being struck, and no cashier or bargirl broken nose. There does appear to be a dispute over a bill, which must have been in raised voices, as something drew the 'security' to rush in. Someone in a black shirt (CCTV image not clear, so could be foreigner or a Thai) enters the scene and tries to explain things to the guards. There's a little pushing and shoving as the guards get aggressive and the customers take exception to that. A possibly unrelated customer enters the scene and the black shirt guy pushes him outside. Though the sound is unavailable, there might be some verbal insults shared. One of the security guys goes after the guy in the white t-shirt (after white t-shirt walks out into the street) and throws the first punches (as the two move beyond the CCTV camera's reach). Another video splice clearly shows the guard initiating the punches. The Brits might have been vocal, but the physical violence looks to be initiated solely by the guards, not the Brits. As a couple of the guards were kicking the guy in the white shirt, the guy in the gray shirt comes to his defense. The guards then set upon him, including a kick to the face when he is down. The guard who threw the first punch, but apparently took one in retaliation/self-defense, gathered his breath and then went full on to the white shirt guy, who was flat on his back, and delivered a kick to the side of the head, seemingly rendering the white shirt guy unconscious. Lots of posters in these threads have said the Brits deserved it for 'breaking the bargirl's nose'. That does not seem to have happened, so people really jumped to bad conclusions. The entire thing looks to be little more than a bill dispute that got wildly out of hand. In a civilized world, if such a thing exists, there must be better ways to settle such disputes.

    Soi 6 beatdown

I don't know the facts, but I do know the reality. First, odd that some posters here who always proclaim "innocent until proven guilty" (about a politician in a Western nation) have already justified what the guards did over 'allegations', not video, that a Thai woman's nose was broken. There should be a video from CCTV, at which time the allegation would be corroborated or not. Stories are often embellished; video is a capture of reality, albeit without a full backstory. The 'reality' is that these videos will go viral, not only in the UK, but likely anywhere where media loves sensationalism. The video will show: ---non-Thais being beaten senseless by Thai security guards, plus a seemingly unconscious guy being violently kicked in the head ---dozens of scantily clad Thai women looking on ---a backdrop of an establishment named The Pussy Club Few are going to assume The Pussy Club is a venue where people bring their pet cats to enjoy a meal together. Also, in a city where law enforcement is famous for having declared 'prostitution does not exist in Pattaya', the scantily clad women sure do a good impression of actual prostitutes. A city that has been trying to rebrand itself as a "Family Destination" is going to be seen around the world as a modern day Sodom and Gomorrah, with extreme violence to boot. I don't think one would be out of line to assume this is being discussed at the PM-level in Bangkok right now, with a plan for damage control being drawn up, and perhaps even plans for a very public crackdown on the entire Pattaya 'entertainment' scene. Maybe any crackdown would be temporary, but with the loss of face the videos will cause, authorities will need to do something. I do expect a kind of Inspector Renault 'shock' by authorities that such activities take place in Pattaya and maybe a mayor removed for allowing what 'nobody could possibly have imagined' existed in the seaside family resort.
  12. I'm not sure all foreigners are just below Soi dogs, even among the elite. Several years ago I was invited to a reception for Tiger Woods at the PM's residence. Tiger was chased around the entire night by hi-so women bedecked in Chanel and Armani, dripping with jewels, desperately trying to introduce their daughters to Tiger (who was single at that time). He's less Thai than Chinese (his Dad had a little Chinese blood) and he's not exactly fair skinned. He is, however, very rich and very famous. To the extent Thais believe one has wealth and evidences some sort of status (in the Thais' minds), one moves up the social scale, leaving barking Soi dogs in their wake.
  13. Conspiracy theories are for society’s bottom dwellers who need to feel special because they “know” things due to their “research”. Whether it’s QAnon, Pizzagate, 9-11 Truthers, Chemtrailers, Deep State, Lunartics, Bilderbergers, Skull&Bones, 33rd Degree Freemasons, JFK, or 10' Shape-Shifting Lizard People from the rogue planet Nibiru, it gives them so much joy to be ‘in the know’ that they ignore any and all contrary evidence and facts. Believers can knock themselves silly believing whatever gives them pleasure. It’s a good cottage industry for everyone from Alex Jones to makers of Hollywood B-fare, as the market for such drivel is big enough for a few people to make a good living feeding the forlorn.
  14. What the heck does that even mean? Do you think classified documents are like the Hope Diamond, and there's only one? The docs are in various computer systems, printed out if need be. What the wedding planner stole were copies, which he has no right to possess. Of course the USG has copies of all of them. That doesn't change the facts of his crime. Another employee in the IC couldn't take a stack of docs home and use as an excuse: you have copies, so no harm done. The importance of retrieving the stolen property from the Thief-in-Chief was two fold: -to make sure no such documents were publicly available in a club anyone willing to pony up $200K can join -to do a damage assessment to see what and who might have been compromised
  15. If there is a second term for the convicted fraudster, I think it will be a Golden Age......for organized crime and terrorism. The guy will certainly gut the FBI, DoJ and CIA, so whether it's the traditional Cosa Nostra, the Russian Mafia, Chinese or Vietnamese mafia, or SA druglords, the landscape will be wide open to them, as all competent and semi competent people will either be fired or quit. The same will happen in the foreign-related intel community. Those who know how to go after hostile nations or terrorists will likely leave. Of particular concern to me is that the various jihadi terror groups have spent years sending their best and brightest to US universities, where they studied biochemistry and other fields where their goal is to make extinction-level pathogens. They learned from Covid how quickly things can be spread. Years ago they tested ways to weaponize Smallpox, but were unsuccessful. Now, with the human genome fully understood, plus with the advantage of AI, an extinction-level pathogen is within reach. The jihadis don't care if it kills them, either, as they are convinced they are doing their deity's work and will be rewarded with 72 virgins in paradise. I don't think the clowns who would work in the guy's 2nd Administration will be up to the task. The boat with 'the best people' has long since sailed. The inmates will be running the asylum.
  16. Not a very good attempt at Whataboutism. I believe your messiah has remedial classes at his defunct scam university. Biden, like Reagan and Pence, brought home notes that did have information that was considered classified. It was first investigated under Reagan, and a precedent was established that said such personal notes could be returned and redacted, and then returned to the ex-President or VP for his library. All three of those men fully cooperated with authorities. The country club owner specifically stole not personal notes, but classified documents rated TS, SCI, SAP, SITK, Codeword, HCS and RD. He should not have even seen the HCS docs when he was POTUS, as he had no 'need to know'. No way DCI Gina Haspel gave them to him, nor his first DNI Coats. Certainly not Sue Gordon. It had to have been the two clowns he appointed to ODNI, Grenell and Ratcliffe. HCS is 'human clandestine sources' and may well be deep penetrations of hostile nation governments or terrorist organizations. A damage assessment would have had to be done when it was discovered he had those in non-secure locations. It is possible some clandestine assets would have had to be ex-filled, along with their families. It's also possible other existing clandestine sources would have quit, realizing that an idiotic, self-serving, reckless bozo like 45 could get them exposed, even sell their names to people like Putin and Xi. With the other material, it has to be assumed that, too, was exposed. The US now has to assume such things as advanced weapons technology, the NATO Order of Battle, even the nuclear codes (which are not so much codes as targets and weapons to be used in any counterstrike, such as Trident missiles to Russian ICMB sites). At his country club, anybody willing to pay $200K can join, including MSS case officers. He stole the docs, none were declassified (even a POTUS cannot declassify RD docs), lied about returning them, and had his goobers move the docs around to hide them from FBI and other authorities. ANYBODY else with even one of those highly classified docs would be in jail awaiting trial. An NSA analyst took a few TS docs home to work on over a weekend (not to monetize them as the country club owner likely wanted to do). The NSA analyst is doing 9 years in jail.
  17. I suspect he will win in November, unless his poor lifestyle catches up to him by then. He certainly looks the worse for wear right now, and kicking the bucket any day is a distinct possibility. I would say 'heaven forbid', but since I don't hold superstitions like deities, I will just let the random Universe do its thing. He has enough sheeple in his cult to take the Electoral College, though he is likely to lose the popular vote for the 3rd time. His sheeple live vicariously through him, as they are largely unsuccessful losers. It doesn't matter that he tried to overthrow the 2020 election, engaged in insurrection, stole classified documents, and was intimately involved in the fake elector scheme. It doesn't matter that before Covid his economic record was mediocre at best, and abysmal after Covid took hold. It doesn't matter that he's a whiny crybaby. He can call Neo Nazis who march and chant "Jews will not replace us" fine people. He can post about a Unified Reich. He can admit he will be a dictator. SO long as his campaign slogan is "I am your retribution", his sheeple feel like they can 'get back' at successful people who have made them feel bad for being such losers. While the guy has some some absolutely absurd things in his life, and been a business failure (save for his inheritance, allowance, daddy co-signer of all his loans, and finally his silly Game Show), these are some things that I know will lead to economic collapse: ---He said he will do another tax cut (which NEVER results in trickle down, just trickle on) and which will additionally decimate the budget, like his last one ---He has said HE, not the Fed, will set interest rate policy. Expect that to be ZIRP again, which will cause inflation and hammer the dollar ---He said on CNBC a few years ago that he would consider defaulting on foreign-owned USTs. Since foreigners and foreign govts still fund a good portion of the US deficit, such talk will send them running and drive up rates (or collapse the dollar if he tries to set i policy) His sheeple will get what they want, and also get what they deserve. I expect the US will see 20% unemployment (exacerbated by AI), Stagflation (negative GDP and maybe 15-25%+ inflation), and a US dollar total collapse. Of course he will blame Obama or Clinton or Mother Teresa or anyone other than the guy solely responsible: him. I will experience schadenfreude watching his sheeple suffer. They will deserve whatever pain life throws at them. They were stupid enough to think a conman clown actually both knew anything and cared they exist (other than to get their vote or sell them some Golden Sneakers). Those of you with brains (sorry, trumpers) have about 6 months to immunize yourself against the coming disaster. Once you do, get your popcorn and watch the cult flail. Darwin will be busy churning out awards.
  18. I might have thought you just troll, but I realize now it is willful ignorance on your part. Many times you asked for the specific statute for which he is charged, and every time it was provided. You still kept asking. @Danderman123 has noted a TS report the defendant made about "Unified Reich". That's the same guy claiming he would be a dictator on Day One, and whose campaign slogan is "I am your retribution". It may be tough for cult members to see through his total transparency, his endless lies, his childish whining, his life of corruption going back decades, and his utter failure as President, as a husband and as a human being, but give it a shot.
  19. Penal Law §175.10 Did you see that? Penal Law §175.10 In case you missed it.... Penal Law §175.10 And just to make it clear.... P e n a l L a w (squiggly thing) One Seven Five dot One Zero And for the next 30 times you ask the same thing: Penal Law §175.10 Penal Law §175.10 Penal Law §175.10 Penal Law §175.10 Penal Law §175.10 Penal Law §175.10 Penal Law §175.10 Penal Law §175.10 Penal Law §175.10 Penal Law §175.10 Penal Law §175.10 Penal Law §175.10 Penal Law §175.10 Penal Law §175.10 Penal Law §175.10 Penal Law §175.10 Penal Law §175.10 Penal Law §175.10 Penal Law §175.10 Penal Law §175.10 Penal Law §175.10 Penal Law §175.10 Penal Law §175.10 Penal Law §175.10 Penal Law §175.10 Penal Law §175.10 Penal Law §175.10 Penal Law §175.10 Penal Law §175.10 Penal Law §175.10
  20. The guy is not in touch with reality. As a cultist, he is of the view that his messiah is infallible (or "totally immune"), so that any indictment is---to him---are not only proof of weaponization of the justice system, but also defines anyone, who supports any of the charges, as a Stalinist or a "Death to America" chanter. The subtlety of having different views on different issues is alien to people who run to Fever Swamp media for all of their talking points. To make such a silly leap---to "Stalinists, etc."---is evidence of cult behavior and, in my opinion, an addled brain. It is what drove the goober terrorists to attack the Capitol on 6 Jan 21, injure 140 cops, and set up a gallows to "hang Mike Pence". If guys like that were of a certain faith that prohibits imaging of their founder, I have no doubt he would accept the challenge of a fatwa and go after Danish cartoonists. He "thanks" the 2nd Amendment, which is, I think, his way of saying death to infidels (ie, those who do not accept the cult leader's infallibility nor immunity).
  21. Oh my! Besides the guy who claimed "I want to testify; I tell the truth" (who did not testify, as his lawyers are smart enough not to allow it), this is the last thing the jury heard before recessing for the holiday weekend: The defense called attorney Robert Costello, but they seem to have forgotten that prosecution gets to cross examine AND there were already Costello emails in evidence. First, Costello sent Cohen an email telling him to hang tough and don't worry (about criminality), "because you are loved.....you have friends in very high places" (the implication being a pardon). Prosecution asked "Is the 'friend in high places the President?" Costello: "Yes" A second email read into evidence had Costello writing: “Our issue is to get Michael Cohen on the right page without giving the appearance that we are following instructions from Rudy Giuliani and the President”. Again, this is the last thing the jury heard before their holiday break. Of course they can weigh the testimony of all witnesses however they want, but Costello---according to reports as well as court transcripts---does not seem to come across as a Boy Scout, but rather more as a mob consigliere. That the defense called Costello as their only narrative witness, in spite of knowing what evidence the prosecution had about his emails (and his manner), would be grounds for me to agree with the defendant to refuse to pay his own legal team. Really poor decision...almost as poor as if they had allowed the defendant to testify.
  22. Hard to believe as it might seem, some people do not adjust to jet lag during the flight itself, and their bodies are still locked in the time of the place of departure. Thus, breakfast near the end of a 10 hour flight, which was a red eye from the perspective of the passengers. Another point about the altitude drop...while the articles are still somewhat confusing, it seems the turbulence resulted in an upward move of about 100 feet, and then a downward move of 300 feet. Once the pilot regained control, he began a decent at the normal Boeing 777 FPM rate over several minutes, down to FL310 in preparation for the emergency landing at BKK. That area south of Yangon is prone to turbulence, and a tropical storm in the area likely added to it. A few weeks ago the flight I was on experienced severe turbulence in the same area---and also as breakfast was being served. Dishes flew around the cabin breaking as they hit the ceiling, and a flight attendant serving my food fell on top of me. No injuries, but lots of faster heartbeats, including on the crew.
  23. LOL! Here's some facts: Even before Covid, his 'economic performance' (per GDP change) was in the bottom 30% of all Quarters since the end of WWII. Hardly 'breaking records'. He inherited 4.8% unemployment and a growing economy; he left 6.8% UE, a Recession---and he achieved that disaster by increasing total National Debt by 41% over the first 44 Presidents. Just like his businesses, he was a failure economically. At least in his businesses he had inherited so much money, got so much in allowance from daddy since he was 3, and had his daddy co-sign all his loans, that he could created the appearance of being a success. His leaked tax returns tell an entirely different story. He imposed sanctions on Chinese imports, claiming "China will pay". No, the US Consumer paid. Because China retaliated by changing sourcing on agricultural products to South American nations, he had to hand out $28 billion in relief to US farmers. That's called "Socialism". As for 'wars', he did not end US presence in the Middle East, and the Afghanistan War lasted his entire term. Shortly before he lost the 2020 election, he ordered the release of 5000 Taliban jihadis in Afghanistan. They resumed their takeover of the country and some of those former prisoners now rule the country. He abrogated the JCPOA (only because Obama had achieved it), which immediately put Iran back in the nuke game. Oh, and he ordered the assassination of Qasem Solemani, an Iranian general. Hardly a peacenik was 45. The clown who now whines daily about "UNFAIR" and WEAPONIZATION of justice regularly led chants of "Lock Her Up". Guilty until proven innocent seems to have not been part of his thinking. Biden started no wars, although goobers and the Cult like to attribute Israel-Gaza and Ukraine to Biden, despite the fact Netanyahu tacitly approved Hamas funding (because like Netanyahu, Hamas is against a Two State Solution), and the invasion of Ukraine is purely a result of 45's friend Putin. Biden started no wars and finally accepted reality and got the US out of Afghanistan. Oh, the who is the first President since Herbert Hoover to leave office with fewer Americans employed than when he took office? 45. If you want to blame it on Covid, remind me who said "It's 15 people now, but soon will be 1". Oh, and despite his claim of "like, a really stable genius", it turns out injecting Lysol and sticking a UV light where the sun doesn't shine is not a cure for Covid. Recently, there has been 27 straight months of UE under 4%. That is the first time since the 1960s. Growth as measured by GDP has been the best under Biden since the 1990s under Clinton. The inflation caused by 45 running up $8,400,000,000,000 in new debt, or $25,000 for every man, woman and child in the US, had to be handled by jacking up interest rates. Just 45's debt added another $trillion to the National Debt since 2020, because of the 380 pip raise in rates. And of the few policies 45 actually has should he win again is that he will set interest rate policy, not the Fed, and he will do new tax cuts (as if 'trickle down' actually works). If a 2nd term happens, be ready for a total economic collapse. The guy who declared 6 bankruptcies will do the same to the US. He has floated the idea of refusing to pay foreign holders of USTs. Since the US still needs hundreds of $billions to fund its deficit, reneging on debt service will have foreign money run from USTs, which either sends rates soaring, or else results in a dollar collapse. Tax cuts now will just worsen the deficit situation. Who will be hurt the most by his plans? The very people who support him, which is to say the people who are being obviated by lack of marketable skills, poor education, technological advancement, and the coming AI layoffs. Serves them right. I expect that in a 2nd term for 45, the US will see 20% UE, a collapse of the dollar, Stagflation, and quite possibly a kind of soft Secession of States like California (a State which the US needs far more than CA needs the US), the States of New England, and other States that are net contributors to the Federal budget and who fund the parasitic Red States. I will enjoy some schadenfreude as I watch the Cult suffer. They will get what they wished for in their abject ignorance and easy gullibility....the dumb people's idea of a smart guy, and unsuccessful people's idea of a business genius. There will be some sadness, however, that a country long on the path to greatness was eventually destroyed by a willfully ignorant, vindictive, totally self-serving, pathologically lying, corrupt, conman. It will have proven H. L. Mencken right: "As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.”
  24. Some of it is 'creative accounting' as a result of the SPAC merger...you know, like grossing up hush money payoffs and recording it as a business expense. One thing I failed to mention is that even the meager $770K revenue is down from $1.1 million in the previous quarter, so the hype of the merger did not exactly light the business on fire.
  25. LOL! Here's the numbers from the first Quarter: Revenues: $770,500 Profit or loss: -$327,600,000 With those stellar numbers, I bet Devin Nunes is in for another huge bonus. Obviously it's a meme stock, or maybe also a way to 'contribute' to a campaign without directly violating FEC laws. Yes, one can make money playing it by either being lucky or not being greedy, but it does look as if the long term target for the stock price is $0. As the stock ages and more becomes available to borrow, shorts will increase and suckers will be left holding the empty bag. No doubt they will scream "RIGGED" or "UNFAIR!", but it will be their own damn fault. Their messiah will have long ago cashed out. The primary shareholder took decades to find his calling in life, which is fooling those easily fooled. I think he might have looked at the IQ Bell Curve, moved far left of the mean, and said to himself "Those are my people". The guy was a disaster in all of his businesses, living off of inheritance, allowance, daddy co-signed loans, and hyperbole, but only when his goober demographic was identified and isolated, did he begin to earn money on his own. First it was via his Game Show, where he pretended he was a successful businessman despite 6 bankruptcies and dozens of failed companies (but inheritance kept him afloat), and then as a "politician", where he could sell junk to his cult. His leaked tax returns indicate that he was moments away from belly-up, but was saved by Mark Burnett, who came up with the idea for the Game Show. This stock is another of his "Just how dumb and gullible is my Cult" enterprises, like fantasy NFTs, Golden Sneakers, or outright begging for cash via his PACs. In his first term playing President, he gave us a clue as to how incompetent he is, taking the 4.8% unemployment and growing economy he inherited and turning it into 6.8% UE and a Recession, but in his second term (if it happens), where he will lack anything even remotely approaching competence (no Steve Cohn or other of that ilk this time), he will reek economic havoc on a scale not even seen in the 1930s. I anticipate 20% UE, Stagflation, and a collapsing US dollar (but blame for anyone and everyone except himself). Perhaps fairly, it will be his cult who suffers the most, as they offer society the least and will be first to feel the decline.
