Delta variant is spreading.
As I predicted, we are into 4K per day.
Soon will be 5K per day.
Phuket Sandbox will cause more spikes as infected "tourists" come in an spread the virus.
Reopening July 1st.
Closing on July 31st ? or before that................. ????

And there is the trouble with Vaccinated people.

They should be treated no differently to non vaccinated.
If you dont want PCR tests, dont travel. Simple as that.
Vaccinated and non-Vaccinated should all be tested by PCR the same - to stop the spread of Covid in its many variant forms.

Thats where you are wrong.
Healthy people have a solid immune system and their T Cell's kill the virus.
They dont need to develop any antibodies.
Antibodies are a second line of defence if your T cells dont kill the virus.
The immune system is multi-pronged.......it has many ways of working, but the last resort is to generate anti-bodies.
This is why only those who are very sick with Covid will actually develop antibodies.
Try reading up on this.

You will see how ineffective the Sinovac vaccine is in due course I believe. Prepare for 3000 and 4000 and 5000 cases daily before too many more weeks pass.

I have had it...so I am already over it.
I have had worse flu than Covid was............Covid is a walk in the park for healthy people.

Unlike Flu......which has a very nasty effect on healthy and unhealthy people.

They are trying hard to say that if you have the vaccine and get the Delta variant it protects you........yes it does.
But they fail to say that fully vaccinated people have died and also in hospital in ICU who have the Delta variant.
It protects........but not 100%.....and in fact......the protection is quite diminished against the Delta, and thats with Pfizer and AZ. The Sinovac is even greater reduction in efficacy.

The Sinovac vaccine is not very effective against the Delta variant.
And now the Delta variant is spreading all over Thailand. There is going to be 2 or 3 months of increasing infections now.
And the point missed by many.......... it seems clear to me a majority of Thai's do not want the vaccine. So they may not even get to 50% with the 1st jab by October.
And for all those who claim this is nonsense.......watch the vaccination figures slow right down once the vaccine hungry people are all done.
I am sure in around 6 to 8 weeks there will be many reports of "double Sinovac vaccinated people getting Delta Covid". Wait and see. More lockdowns coming imo, and all opening plans will be pushed back.

Well thats where it gets all messed up.
There are people who died OF Covid-19 and people who dies WITH Covid-19.
In the UK if you die of a heart attack but were tested positive within 28 days.....you are a Covid 19 death - regardless of whether the heart attack is related to Covid 19 or not.
This is why the figures are so high........its not only people dying OF Covid 19 but also all those WITH Covid 19 as well - all classed as Covid deaths.

I have had Covid. I know around 40 people close to me in various countries who have had Covid.
Everyone was mildly sick for a couple of days and then fine. This is age range of 22 up to 75 years old.
BUT......all fit and healthy and leading active lifestyles.
I go with the facts I see with my eyes........not any manipulated agenda by the media. Of course sick and unhealthy people die from disease....this is called Mother Nature........Gods Will.......whatever you want, but its normal.

You do realise that 4 million people represents just 0.05% of the worlds population (and thats in 18 months)
You do realise that around 60 million people die per year normally (every 12 months).
You do realise that the frail, sick, unhealhty people in the world probably runs into hundreds of millions of people. Amazing Covid only killed 4 million of them so far..........
Do those facts not fit your agenda ?
And of course, how many of those 4 million you quote, would have died anyway in the 18 month period with or without Covid ??

I think everyone knows Phuket Sandbox will be yet another disaster.
Any foreigner going there will be tested 3 times and will be locked up in a medical facility for 14 days if found positive for Covid.
Any articles on Covid will tell you vaccines are "effective" against symptoms......but you still have Covid and still can spread it.....so you can still test positive.
So going to be lots of "tourists" getting positive tests and then forced into medical isolation.
Now......how many real tourists want that threat hanging over their head...............
Phuket will become just an alternative to Bangkok ASQ. Not tourism, just an ASQ alternative. And given the high chance of rampant Covid in Phuket with social mixing ........better stick to Bangkok ASQ in my view.

Covid remains a threat to the weak and sick and unhealthy.
Covid is no problem for healthy people with good working immune systems.
That is the reality.
Sadly many people have messed up immune systems as they abuse drugs (and alcohol) and are obese and generally dont take care of their bodies. Diabetics very high chance of death from Covid as an example...messed up immune system.
That will never be fixed....which is why the vaccine business is now good business.
How many professional athletes are dead from Covid ? Baseball players ? Footballers ? Cricket players ? Basically how many fit and healthy people have died from Covid ? Pretty much zero. The media tries to find some but never reports on underlying illness, their being overweight, their abuse of drugs and alcohol etc.........
How many fit and healthy people have survived Covid..... hundreds of millions.
Covid is with us forever now............get used to it.

Should be 10 day quarantine for vaccinated and non-vaccinated.
Vaccinated people can carry the virus, spread the virus, be sick from the virus and die from the virus.
It is pure nonsense to suggest vaccinated and non-vaccinated should be treated any differently.
The realms of stupidity...............there for all to see.\
They dont care about Covid infecting or killing people really, its all about selling their vaccines for profit.
If they really cared about Covid then simply make every person, vaccinated or not, undergo mandatory 10 day quarantine.

Tested...............bloody hell.
I have had around 24 PCR tests and 10 antigen tests so far in 2020 and 2021. All negative. This is because I travel for business and am still travelling for business worldwide.
All negative as I had Covid, so it seems, early in 2020 before the tests were available. Its impossible to tell if you had it with any certainty, as healthy strong people will have a T-Cell response which kills the virus. They will not have antibodies post Covid.
Only those with weak immune systems were the T Cell system fails to work, then the 2nd line of defence comes into action and they get antibodies to try to kill the virus. In these people they can measure if they had Covid or not in the recent past by them having antibodies present.
So for me, I am travelling the world, on planes, in airports, on buses, in taxi's and all is well, not vaccinated and no need for it for me.
However, if I was in Thailand at this moment in time again, I would not get tested.........as its a sentence to 14 days being locked up.

Delta variant is now on the march.
Unless Thailand starts testing more..........with less penalty for being found positive.......then the Delta variant will overrun Thailand.
Time for mass testing now, stop trying to hide it, the Delta variant is not like others, it spreads fast and easily and unless you block it, you are in trouble before too long.
Allow people to isolate at home......encourage them to get tested.......only way now to stop a massive wave happening.

The mandatory "lock you up for 14 days" if you test positive - will help keep the numbers of people getting tested and therefore being confirmed positive low.
People hide their symptoms and lets face it, most people just get a fever and a cough and nothing more and recover quickly.
The real extent of Covid in Thailand is being hidden, and that is not a good thing with the Delta variant now spreading. It will all likely backfire.
