December 2020 is when they start to realise the economy is in serious trouble. By February Thai's will be asking how do you spell 'recession' in English!
I am not sure it will take as long as February, the A.R.S.E. has already fallen out f the economy.

Nurses almost none, Doctors pretty good, and the words they don't have they type into Google translate.
If you're not bleeding or in obvious pain, 2-4 hours.
Emergency situations, either immediately or sometimes a 5-10 minute wait.
My biggest emergency bill was around 3,000bht, but that included 3 nights (1 in a ward, 2 in a private room).
Long story I will try and make short, some 13 years ago my son was born early in Thailand, prior to his birth I was advised, being a farang to use a private hospital, so I booked my wife into one in Nang Rong, wife went into labour very early was rushed to the private hospital, baby born 1.2kg, PH had no incubator baby sent to government hospital, PH kept my wife there at 2,400 per night while the 30bht hospital looked after my son extremely well in ICU and an incubator for 6 weeks. My son is now a fit and healthy 13 year old. I WOULD NEVER USE A PRIVATE HOSPITAL IN THAILAND again, and yes I always have enough insurance cover for my travels.
I visit the government hospital baby unit in Nang Rong almost every year and donate 5 big tins of Nescafe, powdered milk, sugar and biscuits. the Nurses really appreciate the gift, it makes you feel so humble.

When they said they would look into the 2 price system I never expected a 3 price system to replace it.
The price of those Lobsters is intriguing.
Top price = Falang price
Mid price = Bar girl with Falang price
Bottom price = Thai from BKK who still have a job.

Rather than quoting all of OP will just lift this one short paragraph. Now if you are a Brit under our National Health System there is absolutely no way whatsover you will achieve their requirements in the 72 hours prior to wheels up (in reality the 2 days before the flight)
Simply impossible.....you simply will not be able to arrange tests, results and fit to fly certificates (which you'll certainly get charged for after the medical) all in the two days available
Day of travel
Travellers are required to carry a certificate of entry, health insurance, certificate of a Covid-19 test taken within a 72-hour period with a negative result and a fit-to-fly certificate.
Out of interest I got requoted for annual insurance to include covid and my annual coverage which was £48 last year for unlimited trips has risen by £549
I am a Brit who has a family travel insurance policy which is included via a small charge through my bank each month, which covers a period of 90 days per trip, I recently received a Q&A update from them and it said "along with all other cover, if you contract CV19 during your holiday all related cost would be covered including repatriation if needed" up to the tune of 5mil GBP. However as has already been pointed out, that it is nigh on impossible to get the other things needed to enter Thailand it doesn't matter how much insurance you have, What u not understand! NO FALANG WECLOME!! ???? ????

Applications must include travel details, health insurance with a coverage of at least US$100,000, booking at an alternative state quarantine site and any other documents that the CCSA may require.
This only says Health insurance coverage of US$100,000 it is not COVID specific. ( But the wind can change ) or it may not have been proof read correctly.

They have omitted any other hoops we want you to jump through. Just don't spend one (1) penny going until they remove the stupid restrictions. ????

The headline say's it all! 1 tonne pickup, 2 tonne iron, high speed, cornflake license, no safety concerns and brake failure. Who would have guessed that?

I am sure he meant to add, that people had to be a little patient because some embassies especially Hong Kong was overwhelmed by applications from the 50+ people how have shown an interest in the elite visa and it is taking some time to process these applications. ????
You can't make this up, ( or maybe you can)
-
Please lets keep this in prospective.
A surge of Hong kongers applying for Elite Visa's = 50+. What a surge

My wife paid 200,000 for a rai on the outskirts of Non Din Daeng some 13 years ago to build a house on, the village now is quite a big town with a 4 lane road going through it so there will be nothing around there for that sort of price although, there maybe a little further out towards Lam Nan Rong.

Not to be cynical, but there might be a suspicion that the government was behind the non violent demonstrations at the weekend so as to have an excuse to extend the E.D.

Funny thing about that. Came back from a trip down to Phuket. Upon exiting Suvarnabhumi airport, I went out to get a cab. First two in the que refused my fare for whatever reason, only going to Lumpini Park. Next one the girlfriend took the ticket up to the Taxiand told him where to go, as soon as I got inside the driver started asking 20 questions. Where you from? You finish quarantine? Why you come as tourist to visit now with Covid. Had to show the stupid git my pink id card before he would believe I had not just come into the country. Truth be told it made me feel like he was scared I was infected......not a good sign.
I bet the driver had a sticker in the window saying " WE LOVE FARNG" ❤️ We speak Ingrish!!!

A little off subject maybe, but last night while watching U.K. tv, I was shocked to see an advert for "Visit Amazing Thailand".
This is the first I have seen since the breakout of CV19.
There maybe a little light flickering at the end of the tourist tunnel. ????️

They tried it in a ballot, but the greedy generals fixed the vote so as to remain in power and keep filling their pockets.

So the editor did his job and got the reaction from all the commentators on TV.
The heading got everyone going by only mentioning the Chinese, however it clearly states in the first sentence " Foreign tourists"
