    He enjoys it here so much he's on 3 years overstay ? When he does leave he may see a stamp in his PP whether new or old he hands over..........'no entry before 2029' terrible error on his part.

    Slightly off topic, I've just returned here Nov. 4 ( home country 2 months ), I'm on Non O extensions with re-entry permit, my 90 day was due Nov. 4 from prior to leaving. I know the 90 day clock re-starts on entry again. Is it a good idea to head to immigration and get 'squared' away in their computers again ( same address ) or send a report online late January and see what may happen ? Arrived without the TM6 this time. cheers....

    Other than the odd thoughts if watching their news at night on occasion and hearing about the occasional foreigner arrested on overstay and their passport that expired 6 years ago.............😉

    Think its a safe bet if you are behaving in THEIR country, most locals will give you a 'genuine' Thai smile and not have any particular thoughts at all about you........

    Agreed, I would also guess to say many folks living abroad have worked abroad as well, making an international transition much easier and not a massive 'get up and leave Uproot'.............

    Training the Thai Navy to detect submarines using sonar from surface ships. Hope there is subsea sonar training available somewhere for their submariner ambitions, can't see it happening for many years, boosting confidence doesn't cut it...........

    If you are talking about 'legitimacy' you will pay an agent 35k for the 1 year extension on your Non O without 800k in a Thai bank, not legit........

    Yeah I see that now, 35k a little steep then I reckon even without the funds in Thailand, thats where the 'catch cost' is when not keeping a chunk of change in a Thai bank.......

    Sounds about right for Bangkok, 35k for the Non O plus the 12 months retirement ( 15 months ) without having the 800k in Thailand. Get your money over here for the next time and do it yourself for 1900 baht.

    Correct, I had 2 small hiccups last week during the paperwork process, 1900 baht all good see u next year........

    Unfortunately the IO's prefer the illegal route..........????, and quite often the legal route can be trying at times........money in their wallet or money in your Thai bank !!

    Russian man at Phuket Immigration a few days ago with 5 passports in his hand trying to get things done in the long stay office area, stressy times.....
