  1. I am wondering if the board of Lawyers in Thailand can find out if this is legal to do. In my opinion there can't be  a law that force you to get vaccinated. And if there is not such a law than the people who are behind this stupid rule must go to court for fake news, conspiracy, and other things.. They do it with protestors in section 112 and using loudspeakers so a lot of other thins can be found for them too

Agreed but its about time Thailand's prison system was reformed. People commit crimes and its right that they are punished for that crime. Its not right however that those people are put in danger by their incarceration.  By default, if you take away someone's liberty, thereby removing their ability to protect themselves, you have a duty of care to provide a safe and secure environment - you take on the protective role.

I've heard of 20 to 30 people packed into one room, that may be the extreme - no idea but multiple people in close proximity is never a good idea but in a Pandemic, its just madness.

Do they have isloation units for new inmates for example?  It seems not yet that should have been a basic requirement since the start of the Pandemic.

INdeed some people need to be punished by lock up in prison, but in Thailand the only thing they shout all the time is a fine or so long in prison. I am wondering how many people there are in prison for only little offenses. The whole lese majestic law is an example of unnecessary lock up and so more, while some drugsdealers are walking free time after time because they pay the police and there are more examples of people who should not have been locked up

Attention everyone. We are in the company of a genius. Seems like >2000 a day or around 60,000+ a month is fine so now is not the time to be concerned.

Congratulations you are passed for math.......But it is very curious that there is always around 2000 cases a day. exception  for 4835 yesterday..... In Bangkok 600  chonburi, Chiang Mai Samut Prakan have a lot more so there would be only a few in every province each day.... If you believe that.. In my province yesterday 2 today 8 to days ago 4.. never the same amount..

No they are not, but you still don't get it. Now it is known it was a risk before but an outbreak in a prison multiplies like crazy and has the potential to infect far more people then in areas where you can isolate. Have you seen the overcrowding in Thai prisons.

So you got a hot spot with people moving in and out and unless they get it under control more and more of these people will infect people outside the prison system.

So stop acting like the people in the prison system are on some deserted island with no contact or way to infect others.

The more people are infected there the larger the chance of it being spread from there then it is now. So unless these prison numbers go down its a risk and a problem.

Now than we agree... there will be a lot more infections in the coming week to come....because they wanted to keep silent that there were 2835 cases already but because it came in the media they had count them and now there will more and more and more just as you said.. and overcrowded prisons will not bring the numbers down easily.. This is only Bangkok whta we here, but what about the other prisons in all provinces??

So it does not look so bad, so the Thai government looks less like a fool then they are. That is not hard to explain.

Prison cases are a big risk unless nobody moves in or out (but people do guards and even prisoners that are released). So these people come from a high risk area into the normal population. You think that is not a risk ?

I don't talk about the risk. In my opinion the situation in Thailand is worse than the Government says.. but because the cases are rising they don't want create panic, so they have now a kind of scapegoat to split the numbers of prisons.. But there are a lot of prisons and Bangkok will not be only ones

    Same crazy remark as yesterday.

People who work in prisons are not immune to covid. They are easy to infect and will spread it on. Unless you think they really take precautions like PPE suits and so on (i doubt it). People are also being released from prisons on a dayly base so they add to the population too. Just imagine a few untested infected prisoners going home.

So keep your blinders up and ignore it if it makes you feel better. But logical it is not.

or are they only this week released??? I don't have blinkers but some other people have... look further than your nose
