  1. But Wise uses a kind of decentralized network of banks so the funds you receive from overseas seem to come from a local bank in Thailand that is on their network of banks, to reduce their costs. That's what I see on my KBank international money in transfers from Europe, they appear as local transfers on the bank statement no matter what description I put on Wise web site when initiating the tx.
  2. So Wise paperwork with a (Kbank) bank book that shows only domestic wires are accepted by immigration?
  3. Maybe its a special case for BBL? With KBank the Wise transfers all show up as domestic transfers, which is in line with my previous description on how they keep prices down and transfer from their local in country bank networks? I.e. You give Wise the money in the foreign country and they just tell the Wise already in Thailand to give you the money?
  4. How can this be true if the funds are already in Thailand for your international transfers? I thought Wise does not actually transfer the funds internationally, but instead uses a network of local bank accounts in different countries. When you send money using Wise, they will use their network of local accounts to transfer the funds from a bank account in your country to a corresponding account in the recipient's country. This way, they can avoid the costly international wire transfer fees that banks usually charge.
  5. That is plain nonsense. Foreigners are driving and having accidents daily and the fault lies with the person who caused the accident. Its often foreigners who have not had any cross-cultural driving training at fault, but those that have acclimatized to local driving standards understand the rights and wrongs like a Thai.
  6. Surely you have to be in the same province the Thai house is registered to fix that and then get an extension?
  7. They laugh more at people who think this.
  8. No one I imagine. What on earth did you pay 800k for?
  9. What are the upsides for a wanted war criminal answering questions real journalists would ask? Besides the smirk the autocrat would give as he locks them up, it seems like a loose-loose for both sides does it not? So only chumps like Tucker can sell this farce to his blind followers.
  10. Stuck in the same routine daily can be boring. Sounds like you need some stimulation both in the brain with learning something nteresting and in the sub-navel region if you are that way inclined.
  11. The clue is in the title thread mate. No one has heard or cares about Rachel Maddow. This thread is about a failed US journalist turned Putin puppet.
  12. Putin has been declared a war criminal by the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, Netherlands. On March 17, 2023, the ICC issued an arrest warrant for Putin for the war crime of unlawfully deporting children from Ukraine to Russia. Do you think the ICC is brainwashed by MSM propaganda?
  13. The 'dumb' expression on Carlson's face as he sits and listens to the autocrats bizarre monologues is there for a reason.
  14. Doing? Getting much better value for money since before the foreign mafias started sticking their noses in I imagine.
  15. Your either I guess. Nunez wasn't even born 43 years ago 🙂
  16. Bizarre thought process to lock it down to just three nationalities only? Anyway the Budgy Smuggler Instagram pandemic is an Australian phenomenon. Who was it said humor doesn't travel well?
  17. The news link says the "The matter could proceed to Thai court, notes TPN media, if the different parties involved continue to have opposite allegations and statements." so its possibly not the open and shut case many armchair Sherlock's perceive perhaps? Could be a double bluff of course.
  18. Funniest post I read on this forum in ages.... thanks, spitting coffee all over the screen in hysterics.
  19. If you see the video of it brave doesn't come into it. Both cameraman and jumper come across as clowns. If you do the math of this, the building is only about 100m high, so about half the minimum height for a parachute to open on time. Thoughts and prayers to the unfortunate witnesses on the ground who would have been needlessly traumatized by the acts of the reckless.
  20. Gender/identity is important if funerals are being done. If you look up and study context, pass the exam on it and come back here, it will make you a better person, and save us some bandwidth. A win win all around I say.
  21. What is the point of selecting a single office in Pattaya for your argument other than characterizing yourself?
  22. How on earth can one get that impression from a news item that has no mention of getting new injections? Isn't it more a preconceived built in reaction of the self obsessed individualists who perceive their own personal rights being tested as others die, whilst at same time suffering vaccine fatigue and social media misinformation?
  23. Everything is propaganda from Russia. Factual based news will get you locked up.
