Really, you rejoice in someone becoming ill?
Not just someone, the biggest someone since Abraham Lincoln. If he survives, no doubt he will claim that he is the only president in history to have survived Covid-19.

No you really don't get it. They're allowed as much leniency as Trump and his supporters.

If he tests positive, will he deny it and continue on sans mask/distancing?
Positive or negative, he is now required to isolate for 14 days. For him, every cloud has a silver lining. He is now debarred from taking part in the next presidential debate.

I presume that you are aiming this at a particular TVF poster as it has absolutely no bearing on this thread.
Is the "Brit Man" in the title confusing you with a certain poster?

I noticed Antifa played a huge part in the unrest, from setting up the disastrous CHAZ, to their constant presence at the scenes of violence, looting and burning that have been a hallmark of democrat run states in the last 3 months or so.
Worth mentioning the ProudBoys are led by a Latino and have no ideology of white supremacy, not exactly ticking the "white supremacist" box.
Not according to the FBI or any other official sources. No discernible presence of Antifa.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proud_Boys
"The Proud Boys are a far-right, neo-fascist male-only organization with ties to white supremacists that promotes and engages in political violence"

I like the idea. Pattaya and Thailand both need more people thinking outside the box. I'd love to see the powers that be try new ideas like yours. It doesn't need to stop there. I'd like to see Pattaya and the government do far greater outreach to attract many more foreign retirees, as well. Pattaya has many of the elements retirees seek in place already--good healthcare, good climate, good shopping, good movie theaters, good golf and other recreation, good restaurants, good location near a major city and major airport, a very wide variety of housing choices both in rentals and property for sale, good international base of expats already living here, and a lower cost of living than many places. Some condo projects on the drawing boards could consider converting to assisted living centers instead and offer a needed service at a cheaper cost than in the West. Much easier visas with relaxed requirements and just once a year reporting should be the first start.
Yes, they should focus on retirees, Bournemouth and Eastbourne have been very successful at this.
More brothels, younger, cheaper girls and cheap beer. Gets my vote.

Kayleigh McEnany, the current White House spokeswoman, addressed this very issue in a recent press conference and pointed out several instances in the past by date where Donald Trump had condemned so-called "white supremacy". After that the press continued to press her about it. It was a disgusting display of PTSD by the press, like many on this thread have displayed. I have personally heard a montage of sound bites where he had condemned "white supremacy" many times and long before the debate. Wallace's question was disgustingly out of place and some kind of stupid, partisan transparent attempt to manipulate the debate.
Pity that I wasn't there. I could have quoted several instances where he both condoned white supremacists and failed to condemn them when given the opportunity.
Even in the debate he was given the opportunity to condemn both David Duke and the KKK and refused to do so.
However the one condemning phrase he used was "Proud Boys stand down and stand by" followed by "Somebody has to do something about Antifa". A clear call for Proud Boys to attack Antifa when the time is right. The most disgraceful statement any president has ever made.
How can his supporters condone that, particularly in the light of the fact that Antifa have played little or no part in the current unrest. Antifa, Trumps dog whistle of the moment. Clearly the PTSD is suffered by his supporters. La La land has now become Trump land.
Good luck to you and your fellow Trump supporters in your world of alternative facts.

My wife does the same with chicken mixed with rice. She puts it outside her friends house 1/4 mile away. I'm saying nothing.

Yes I did make a mistake writing Antifa in large type but with regard to acronyms, concerned 'other groups' having the same acronym. Although I do admit to the ambiguity in proximity.
Its not an acronym, its an abbreviation.
An acronym is made up of the first letter of several words and is usually written in block capitals. eg NATO, North Atlantic Treaty Organisation. An abbreviation is the shortening of one or more words.
If you think that its an acronym, please tell me what the letters ANTIFA stand for.

The other point is that groups with similar ideals have different names but end up with the same acronym ANTIFA.
Antifa is not an acronym and shouldn't be written in block capitals. Its simply an abbreviation of "Anti fascist"

We all love a bit of car crash TV and the debate was certainly that. Democrats are loving it too as trump crashes in the polls.

"The FBI has found no evidence that the American militant anti-fascist movement Antifa was involved in violence that erupted during national protests over the death of George Floyd."
"U.S. Attorney General William Barr has repeatedly blamed anti-fascist activists for the violence that has erupted during demonstrations over George Floyd's death, but federal court records show no sign of so-called antifa links so far in cases brought by the Justice Department.
NPR has reviewed court documents of 51 individuals facing federal charges in connection with the unrest. As of Tuesday morning, none is alleged to have links to the antifa movement."
"The single instance in which an extremist group is mentioned in court documents is a case against three Nevada men. Federal prosecutors allege the trio belong to the right-wing Boogaloo movement that wants to bring about a civil war. The men have been charged with plotting violence during Las Vegas protests."
"Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, without providing specifics, said Saturday he believes 80% of the people now taking part in the overnight rioting are from outside Minnesota.
However, arrest data shows otherwise. The overwhelming majority of people who posted on social media from the precinct fire and those arrested Friday night at the protests in the Twin Cities live in the area, according to USA TODAY's review of police jail records and almost 100,000 tweets."
