I have flown Thai airways on occasion however it has been awhile. I can’t remember having any problems other than their fares are kind of high. One thing I do remember is how hot their flight attendants are. They really must screen prospective female attendants for their beauty. I still remember one young woman to this day who was so strikingly beautiful you could see the passengers eyes following her as she walked up and down the aisle. I remember long ago when US carriers hired beautiful young women as flight attendants.
As a flight attendant still flying in the USA but live here in Thailand …i can tell you that discrimination laws have change that beauty concept from long ago. Unmarried childless was the norm. I can agree flying staff travel on Thai….. Beautiful and gracious.

I've always been bemused by the term 'flag carrier'.
As an American we've never had a flag carrier, although maybe PanAm back in the day was the closest we got.
Flag carriers in my mind tend to suggest State enterprises, the likes of BOAC (British Airways), Lufthansa, Iberia, Air Canada etc, all long since now firmly in the private sector.
I thought the idea when the Thai Government decided to drop their majority stake in this turd of an airline was to also drop the idea of it being the 'flag' carrier.
Exactly. Put your money where your mouth is. You virtually shut down the country…snub the ailing flag carrier and refuse to help. (Well the same goes for most its citizens)

I laugh ???? when the Thai media bangs on about the big spending Chinese bullsh..
They dont spend they by one big gift to give the family and go the free holiday route all run and operated by dodgy Thai government officials and the 1% of thai wealthy families blah blah
Fact the biggest spending tourist in Thailand is the wait for it the good old American ???????? Not the peasant mainland Chinese... That go tp 7/11 and spend 500 b maybe TAT gets their figures from CPALL ????
I agree. I never see Chinese tourists building homes in the villages or cities in rural parts of Thailand. Glad to see that flag waving crowd (along with bus traffic) go

Imagine thinking about going to Thailand for a holiday and then seeing this load of nonsense.
Thailand pass has destroyed thailand high season this year.
Guy in the video says scan your passport, is photo from your phone acceptable ?
Yes photos is accepted. It’s actually much easier to the process on a tablet than a computer as you can take required photos with the same device.

Good job with video and explanation. Having arrived 3 times using the COE process it seems alittle easier.
NOTES. Video Slanted for UK applicants, those coming from the USA. do NOT have a QR code for the CDC vaccine card (accepted each time by the Thai Embassies-COE) NO IMAGE is chosen.
Not all of us use computers. Ipads and smartphones work just fine since photos of the said docs can be taken and stored in its own album for easy uploading (screenshots are PNG files and are listed as accepted as well as JPG AND JPEG photo files)

One night quarantine isnt so bad. The jetlag will wipe you out so pretty much the first night in Thailand is useless anyhow

So if you screw up even more simplistic entry requirements sent back or 10 day quarantine?

So just to confirm. Coming from the UK do we need any kind of Visa?
Do we need flights paid for along with the SH Hotel booked prior to applying for the thai pass?
Thank you!
No mentions of flights. Paid hotel night , insurance, visa same as before.

Because that happens after they leave the airport hence not relevant to this test.
Currently you are transported one at a time by the quarantine hotel. 150 transports waiting for one flight? Bloody nightmare awaits

Tourism and Sports Minister Pipat Ratchakitprakan and all his overly smart friends at the helm of this completely failed state should have a look at the following which will explain, why nobody in his right mind choses Thailand over hundreds of easier destinations - unless there is family or work-related reasoning behind it.
The departure check-in staff is responsible for the checking of travelling documents, so that passenger(s) can get off the plane and enter the destination. Thailand just created another entry into the "Guiness Book of Records" with the following FIVE pages stipulating, under which conditions a passenger may enter Thailand - or not.
Honestly, does anyone seriously believe, that check-in staff has the time, knowledge and experience to go through this rigid checklist given the standard time allowance of 90 seconds per check-in operation? For each and every passenger bound for Thailand?
This possibly explains also, why apparently more than 80% of all airline slots into/from Thailand for the winter schedule ending 26 March 2022 were NOT taken by non-Thai carriers; nobody in his right mind can operate an airline if hundreds, if not thousands of destinations come up with a set of local instructions like this. You make it look eye popping. But for the bulk of traveling. Its a passport, THAILAND PASS. , rt pcr negative result within 72 hrs vaccinated card, one night stay in quarantine. Shall i list the long list of current COE requirements? Im in my last few days of quarantine. I have time to type.

According to the Foreign Ministry, the Thailand Pass system is web-based and designed to make the documentation process for people entering Thailand more efficient. This system collects both travel and health information and will help facilitate the filing of TM6 and T8 forms.
Your vaccine online application hasn't caused enough laughing stock? Now you want to go international?
Thailand 4.0! Susu na!
Wait until the system gets hacked…..

The vacs are no more than boosting your immune system to diminish any infection and to avoid hospital treatment. You are NOT protected from catching the infection. This is a scientific truth that both governments and big Pharma won't reveal because there's no money to be made.
As for me, I have suffered Covid infection - however, my immune system was strong enough to repel it, despite a couple of weeks being attacked.
I therefore regard natural immunity as being superior to any vaccine, because it resists the whole kit and coboodle the virus would throw at me. It is my understanding that the vaccines only block the spikes, not the complete attack.
Humm. Ok whatever. Everywhere it’s asked are you vaccinated. Not have you (been careless enough)to get covid. Non vaxxed. …then stay away from me, my family , my pool, btw. You can get covid again ….

Can die from falling coconuts on the head if fate has it. Covid can explode but if most are vaccinated it should not mean death or serious hospitalization
