  1. For me, my 90-day report "next report date" has ALWAYS been beyond the permission to stay date (at CW). Maybe now they realize it should be like the re-entry permit; tied to your PtS date? The mysteries of thai imm.
  2. Bang Sue Walk ins Walk-ins at gate 1 only Pfizer 2x can get 3rd shot at 180 days. Every day from 9am - 4pm From 2 March 2022 onwards Bangsu Center. Will be open until April 6th Closed during Songkran from 7-17 April Re-open for service on April 18
  3. Brittney Griner detained in Russia: American basketball star found with hashish oil at airport, per reports Seven-time WNBA All-Star center Brittney Griner, 31, has been detained by the Russian Federal Customs Service after it claims to have found hashish oil in her luggage, according to the New York Times and Russian news agency TASS. She currently plays for UMMC Ekaterinburg, a women's basketball team that competes in the Russian Premier League. https://www.cbssports.com/wnba/news/brittney-griner-detained-in-russia-american-basketball-star-found-with-hashish-oil-at-airport-per-reports/
  4. I'm surprised. Unless your account is somehow restricted you should be able to send an international SMS. same-same as *137 The best solution just block the number from whence the annoying SMSes are delivered from. Easy too. And the provider's app likely offers the option to decline notifications. This doesn't help with 3rd party Spam SMS. DTAC Notification Settings:
  5. Web interface: myaisfibre.com Change Internet Speed https://www.ais.th/fibre/en/package_byodbroadband.html click on Terms and Conditions. Meh. And no leverage. No portability. Huge mistake IMO.
  6. You can apply for it from within the Mor Prom app. Self-pick up or delivery. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z8nQEK2UPyk Or here:
  7. DTAC Sim Go Inter https://www.dtac.co.th/en/gointer/ https://truemoveh.truecorp.co.th/international_service/travelling_abroad/travelsim?ln=en DTAC has an awesome WiFi Calling app.
  8. Do they have a Thai SIM/number/account now? Prepaid or postpaid? Which provider? The main requirements? local calls within Germany? calls to/from Thailand? mobile data? How much? budget? You can get a travel SIM or add on a package to an existing SIM. Enable international roaming. Consider using WiFi calling, if available. A local SIM is often the best solution. But a SIM from thailand offers service on touchdown.
  9. Seen a few, not too many, of this recently with the new system. Maybe it's an office policy thing? I was encouraged to do a 90-day report a good 40 days ahead of my next report date during my most recent ext stay/ret at CW in September 2021.
  10. Of course it was, don't have to be a genius to come to that conclusion. Who said it wasn't?
  11. You can go into Task Manager, Performance, Ethernet to see real-time speeds. I just chose a random, highly seeded (latest Liam Neeson actioner) 2 GB. Assumes you have a GbE interface.
  12. Easy, if there are enough seeders. Believe it's 1 Gbps down.
  13. Good one. As if they possess the ability to experience guilt. tucker apologized, laura is a putin fan boi, two of her children were adopted from russia, her calling sen. graham "stupid" for suggesting someone assassinate putin was probably down more to her serving as his beard ~ 20 years ago. But this chap left fox 11 years ago so, meh.
  14. From the article: A representative for Fox News told Insider that Hanick worked as a director across daytime programming and left the network in 2011. Both hannick and his russian handler, malofeyev, look like russian intelligence assets. SDNY on the job as usual. https://www.justice.gov/usao-sdny/pr/tv-producer-russian-oligarch-charged-violating-crimea-related-sanctions
  15. Russian sanctions prompt tech to stop sales, curb services At the urging of Ukraine's Vice Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov and economic sanctions, companies including Apple, Google and Microsoft have limited business operations in Russia. "In response to the war in Ukraine, we are pausing Google monetization of Russian state-funded media across our platforms," Google said in a statement to CNN Business on Sunday. "We're actively monitoring new developments and will take further steps if necessary." https://edition.cnn.com/2022/02/28/tech/google-russia-media-cut-off-ad-revenue-intl-hnk/index.html
  16. Charter? The major ticket distribution systems, like SABRE and Amadeus, have stopped processing agreements with AEROFLOT. I assume immigration will grant these folks Invasion Extensions? But if they can't pay - credit cards not being processed - not sure what will happen? And those on legitimate extensions may face income/money-in-bank challenges.
  17. Has the OP mentioned their reporting office? Personally I'd talk with other aliens in the same locale and see what they've been told. Interesting that this matter did not come up during the initial granting of the extension of stay (under consideration?). Or if it will during the final granting? I might ask about the local requirements re: Sections 37 and 38 at that point.
  18. It is for those vaccinated here in thailand. It is a yellow book replacement/substitute, a digital certificate in EU format, accepted in some 60 countries. Personally I'd carry copies of everything: hospital certificate, government certificates and Mor Prom, The one thing I would not carry is some yellow booklet. Even the government recognizes the uselessness of this relic from the 1960s.
  19. This is a relatively new option, but does have some unique terms and conditions. Make sure you review those first.
  20. We have a lot of customers with 3BB and AIS. Some have both. Both ISPs provide good internet service, and tech support and service. Both have similar service outages, Personally I would raise a service ticket with 3BB, and request a new free latest router. I would not pay in advance. I'd also talk to neighbors to see what service they have, and if they are satisfied. AIS has a Broadband 24 package which can be user-adjusted, UL/DL, to 1,000/300 for 599/ month. They may have other deals. Contact them, tell them you'd like to switch, and that you want a promotion. Are you an AIS mobile customer? Long-time customer report AIS will make decent deals these days.
  21. Do you currently have broadband internet service? Service provider? Most three year old or newer ISP-provided router supports (among other things) USB. Can you share your router make and model? You may need to configure this application within the router's management UI (FTP Server Configuration). What is it that you really want to do, in real life applications? Maybe give an example or three. Simply, occasionally share a few files? Locally? Via the internet? Back-up data? Stream media, over WiFi? There may be other solutions. Almost any device with storage could be made to be a networked file server. Or you could add a new device, like the mentioned NAS. Or you could add a secondary router. You could share data over wired ethernet, WiFi, Bluetooth.
