Just arrived across the border from Laos was required to fill out a TM30. On initial arrival at BKK from UK a couple of months ago no requirement of TM30.
Multi entry Tourist Visa 60 day on entry+ 30 days extension at local immigration. Then border run or small break in neighbouring country 60 days on re entry. Can be extended again if required, simple a 5yr old could work it out
This is Thailand, very few have insurance even less have a driving license. Ever tried to get a 8yr old kid and 4 of his mates insured to travel around on 1 motorbike it ain't happening. Police as usual do nothing
It will never happen, think of all the money lost to immigration outrageous that they even keep the application money when refusing a visa. And as for the fiddling b*st*rds at immigration offices well that's another story
They're so cheap because they're poor quality and definitely can't stand a decent water pressure. Fitted the Chinese crap in the UK, didn't last a month. Now had a top quality one for years.
3 days at Jomtien seriously, they want everyone to use agents. No bung for them in people doing it themselves. Immigration and whole country rotten to the core.
