  1. One reason for Trump's reversal may be that Pence has now been subpoenaed by Jack Smith, the Special Counsel investigating Trump. Trump's conduct here follows the same pattern as the case of the prosecution of The Trump Organization in which Trump had nothing but kind words for Wesselberg, his CGO despite the fact that Wesselberg repeatedly violated the law and got the Trump organization into lots of legal hot water and convicted on all 17 counts against it. It's pretty obvious why Trump wouldn't want to antagonize Wesselberg. Why not the same motivation when it comes to Pence?
  2. Trump is nothing if not consistent: From Taunts and Lies to an Angry Mob: Jan. 6 Panel Details Trump's Pressure Campaign Against Pence https://time.com/6188551/pence-pressure-jan-6-trump/ Kidding.
  3. Maybe because he boasted about it? And maybe because he was President?
  4. If it would make no difference to the integrity of the payload if it landed on earth or water then you have a point.
  5. Also, as has been made clear. the Pentagon took the opportunity to study the capabilities of the previous balloon's payload.
  6. If you're saying that's the case for Biden, what does that say about the mental agility of the Republicans whom he trapped into publicly and loudly denying that they planned to cut Medicare and Social Security. Even though the record is clear that's a plan that Republicans had been pursuing.
  7. You think stating the obvious is unintelligent? What's downright stupid is denying the obvious. It's now settled science that burning fossil fuels is the cause of rapid climate change the drastic consequences of which are already being felt. And it's going to get much worse. Yet the Republicans seem to find that laughable as well. As for your repeating the "crime family" nonsense, how many allegations by the right have to be shot down before its adherents accept that such accusations are going nowhere. Not long ago, the right was salivating at the prospect of uncovering DEEP STATE machinations against the Trump administration. How did that turn out?
  8. Well, when you sign a disastrous deal, as the Trump administration did with the Taliban, a deal that postpones the disaster into a different administration, I don't think that a cliché gets you off the hook.
  9. You think fossil fuels are comparatively benevolent to avian life?
  10. It's the same thing with the former Austrian Foreign Minister. She was part of the extreme rightist Kurz govt. They adored Putin. Even sent a delegation to take a tour of Crimea. By the way, she's living in Lebanon now. She says because she's in fear of her life if she stays in Austria. So Lebanon? Or maybe it's because Lebanon has no extradition treaty with the EU.
  11. Well, there are some small signs of improvement in the way you are reporting various views. At least you are acknowledging some sort of relationship between them and the Russian govt. That said, don't you think characterizing the Global Times as being associated with the Chinese govt is a rather tepid way of putting it? How about this instead? The Global Times (simplified Chinese: 环球时报; traditional Chinese: 環球時報; pinyin: Huánqiú Shíbào) is a daily tabloid newspaper under the auspices of the Chinese Communist Party's flagship newspaper, the People's Daily, commenting on international issues from a Chinese ultra-nationalistic perspective.[1][2][3][4][5]... The newspaper has been the source of various incidents, including fabrications, conspiracy theories, and disinformation.[note 1] It is part of a broader set of Chinese state media outlets that constitute the Chinese government's propaganda apparatus.[18][19] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Global_Times
  12. It was the Trump admnistration that negotiated a May 31, 2021 pullout of all U.S. troops. It was the Trump administration that reduced US troop levels by 44%. It was the Trump administration that agreed to release of 5000 Talibani prisoners.
  13. They did invest in 2 new coal powered plants but they're having lots of problems. South Africa's geographical situation is apparently ideal for solar and wind. A solar plant takes a lot less time to construct than an equivalent coal powered plant and is a lot cheaper, as well.
  14. There's enough wrong with Musk without linking his family to claims of being diamond miners of any sort. There was a report that his father may have been an owner of an emerald mine in Zambia. https://www.snopes.com/news/2022/11/17/elon-musk-emerald-mine/
  15. Actually, the former Austrian foreign minister. Here's a little bit more about this person Karin Kneissl (born 18 January 1965) is an Austrian diplomat, journalist and independent politician, having served as Minister of Foreign Affairs between 2017 and 2019. She is an expert on the Middle East and was a lecturer before assuming the government position she was offered by Chancellor Sebastian Kurz. Since 2020 she has been working as a blogger for Russia Today, between June 2021 and May 2022 she was a member of the supervisory board of Rosneft. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karin_Kneissl Not surprising that this is your idea of a reliable analyst. One other detail. This is what "he" looks like: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karin_Kneissl And you know what Russian head of state danced with her at her 2018 wedding? https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/jun/02/former-austrian-minister-given-seat-on-board-of-russias-rosneft
  16. An opinion that you fail to support with reasoning or facts.
  17. You explicitly agreed with sunnyinbangrak's statement that he couldn't think of any conspiracy theories in the past few years that hadn't been proved true. That includes the lizard theory.
  18. They could have been sending Norway a message that any pipeline is easily sabotaged. And given how reckless Putin has been, why wouldn't he send Norway a message?
  19. Accused of: Inciting war and hatred, distorting facts, thereby contributing to the killing of civilians and violation of the territorial integrity of Ukraine. Prior to the conflict in Ukraine, Igor Korotchenko had called for the murder of Mikheil Saakashvili, a former Georgian president and Ukrainian politician. Korotchenko receives multimillion-ruble state orders from enterprises subordinate to the Ministry of Defense for his propaganda activities. https://www.spisok-putina.org/en/personas/korotchenko-2/
  20. Well, whatever you may think of those bills, their existence certainly refutes your claim of a "do nothing" administration. And Biden & co.did raise taxes, although, the 2 DINOs managed to slash them. Not one Republican voted in favor of raising taxes. The same people who enthusiastically supported the Trump era tax cuts. And I have to respect the effort it must have taken you to come up with this nonsensical sentence: "Biden if he was in charge which he's not is trying to destroying America." This begs the question: do you read the stuff you write before you post it?
