  1. The issue you raised is about power not the alleged plights of various citizens. Russia's economy and its military (apart from its nuclear force) are clearly far too weak to support any claim that Russia is once again a superpower. Unless your sole criterion is the possession of a large number of nuclear weapons.
  2. I'm so delighted that you brought that up. What does Obama's threat to the UK tell you about his attitude towards the EU? Anything? Because what it would tell any rational observer is that Obama was very pro-EU. And, of course, Obama was very popular in the EU. Whereas Trump threatened the EU over Nato,, slammed the EU for protectionism, and cheered on Britain's withdrawal from the EU. You don't think this was present to the minds of Trump's audience in 2018? What's more less than 3 months after this speech, Trump imposed a tariff on steel from the EU. Supposedly for the sake of national security!
  3. The first took place in France where conditions are very different. And the second incident in Texas had nothing to do with universities. It was about a politically charged event
  4. Images of Mohammed have been part and parcel of courses at other Universities. No violence has ensued.
  5. Such nonsense. Trump was clearly referring to Russia's previous denial of gas to the EU over the EU's stance on Ukraine. What is coercive about Obama's statement? You think Obama was holding up the possibility of delaying a trade agreement with Europe over natural gas? It's been the EU that was traditionally more reluctant to make trade freer with America. And it was Trump who was obviously far less receptive to free trade with Europe than Obama ever was.
  6. Not just the humanities departments. Scientists, too. Trends in American scientists’ political donations and implications for trust in science https://www.nature.com/articles/s41599-022-01382-3 As Stephen Colbert once remarked i, it's a fact that reality has a liberal bias.
  7. Well, you've got me there...oh wait a minute... Trump pitches US natural gas to European leaders, suggests Russian gas holds them hostage https://www.cnbc.com/2017/07/06/trump-natural-gas-europe-leaders.html
  8. False. The Secret Service is not responsible for the "general security" of premises of private citizens. Their job is to protect the people they are assigned to protect. Even if it was the case that the secret service would be responsible for protecting sensitive documents of ex-Presidents, since Trump denied having any such documents, why would the Secret Service even consider protecting documents which according to Trump were non-existent?
  9. I'm sure you think what you wrote actually means something.
  10. What took Trump so long? Obama and Biden were way ahead of him Obama to EU: Cut reliance on Russian gas https://www.cnbc.com/2014/03/26/eu-to-press-obama-at-summit-for-aid-in-cutting-russian-gas-imports.html Biden warns EU against Russian gas dependency https://www.dw.com/en/biden-warns-europe-against-dependency-on-russia-for-heating-oil-and-natural-gas/a-19503334
  11. I want to commend you on your humility. You actually confessed that you had no idea that reducing revenues would effect indebtedness. But don't worry about that. I'll be here to set you straight next time you stray.
  12. I'd give odds of 3-2 that your comment made sense to you.
  13. I'm not saying it. The official report from the Greta Thunberg Foundation said it. In a legally required annual report.
  14. Actually, that honor goes to Finland. But even if it were Norway, why would the Breivick incident, which occurred over ten years ago, disqualify it? Apart from some postage stamp sized countries like Monaco, Andorra, Luxembourg, and San Marino, Norway has the lowest homicide rate in all of Europe. https://www.indexmundi.com/facts/indicators/VC.IHR.PSRC.P5/rankings
  15. So it's always a disgrace to desert an army no matter how brutal it is and no matter how severely it violates human rights? Another report from OppositeWorld.
  16. It's incumbent upon the person making the allegation of malfeasance to prove that funds have been misused. It's obviously ridiculous to ask someone to prove a negative. And given that Thunberg is Target A for the climate change denialist movement, if she had misappropriated those funds, somebody most likely would have cottoned on to it by now.
  17. The case you make is remarkably compelling. How did you come up with it? Coin flip? Crystal ball? Ouija board?
  18. What does it matter where she put the money? What matters is how she spent it. You have any evidence that it was misspent? If so, can you share a link to that info?
  19. You clearly are having a problem with pronouns. In this case the pronoun in question is "it". "It" is so cold now because of variations in weather. On the other hand, on average "It" is getting warmer. The warm days are increasingly outweighing the cold days. In the United States for example: Daily Heat Records Rising In the 2010s, 96% of 247 locations set more heat records than cold records. A century prior, during the 1910s, 54% of locations set more heat records than cold records. From January 2020 through November 2022, 91% of 245 locations had more record heat than record cold. Over the same period, 25 locations across the U.S. only set records for heat (none for cold). Tampa, Fla. had the greatest imbalance (setting 76 heat records and no cold records)—followed by Miami, Fla. (52 heat records), Phoenix, Ariz. (47), Reno, Nev. (45), and San Francisco, Calif. (36). https://www.climatecentral.org/climate-matters/daily-heat-records-rising-2022
  20. I hope it isn't because you sincerely didn't know that spending doesn't necessarily result in net indebtedness. I had assumed you were feigning ignorance and calling you out on it. Was I wrong?
  21. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qEF9-nZyETMR9Ew8fES4F66lk0NTtI7s/view Ya got any other nasty questions?
  22. Here's the link again that will show you where it all went: https://thegretathunbergfoundation.org/where-the-money-goes/
  23. Nonsense. Stop making things up. Or provide some proof: From the landing page of the World News Forum "Any alleged factual claims must be supported by a valid link to an approved credible source."
