You are confused. I have never seen a moderator issue a characterization of the content of an aseannow member's posts or give advice on how to respond to them. -

You definitely have been paying no attention to this story: Elon Musk has pulled more than 50 Tesla employees into his Twitter takeover New Twitter owner Elon Musk has pulled more than 50 of his trusted Tesla employees, mostly software engineers from the Autopilot team, into his Twitter takeover, CNBC has learned. Musk, who is CEO of automaker Tesla and reusable rocket maker SpaceX, completed the $44 billion acquisition of Twitter on Oct. 28 and made his mark there immediately... According to internal records viewed by CNBC, employees from Musk’s other companies are now authorized to work at Twitter, including more than 50 from Tesla, two from the Boring Company (which is building underground tunnels) and one from Neuralink (which is developing a brain-computer interface). https://www.cnbc.com/2022/10/31/elon-musk-has-pulled-more-than-50-tesla-engineers-into-twitter.html Musk’s Shift of 50 Tesla Engineers to Twitter May Have Serious Legal Repercussions Elon Musk Revamps Twitter With Help From Tesla Staff Twitter’s new owner often reaches across his business empire to get things done Elon Musk has leveraged his diverse business empire in his first week owning Twitter Inc., blurring the line between the newly private social-media company and Tesla Inc., TSLA -6.27%decrease; red down pointing triangle the electric-car maker he also runs. You mean links that show he's using Tesla engineers at Twitter? Links that show he's been defended by fanboys on the grounds that he was just using his buyout offer to expose twitter? -

Just another in a long line of dubious explanations of Musk's conduct. I remember when his fanboys were claiming he was playing 4 dimensional chess when he made the offer to buy Twitter. And that it was really his way of exposing the bot problem there. And that he would never have to go through with it because of the false claims made by Twitter. As it turned out, despite his frantic attempts to get out of the deal, Musk had to pay the full price he offered. Twitter didn't back down one bit. Not only that, but he's actually stealing from Tesla by taking its software engineers and using them at Twitter. Tesla is a public company. Clearly he's hurting it and its other shareholders in order to bail himself out. -

As I remarked elsewhere, I slightly edited a Brazilian saying to read Fusion is the power source of the future and always will be. There's really no need. There are plenty of studies that show how smart grids powered by renewables and storage will make fossil fuels obsolete without the aid of nuclear power. -
Yes I concede that. But it was you who called her "angry". And that reflexive coupling you made is very revealing. Also, it's odd that you called her an "angry black lesbian" but didn't even mention that she was a basketball player. As though her celebrity as a professional athlete was irrelevant to the case.

You note that the case against members of the Tory government is not yet proven, but don't seem to pay attention to that consideration in the case of the EU MEPs. -

And, of course, Chappelle's comment about the booing shows it's false that 90% were cheering Musk according to himself. -
To character her relevantly, all you had to do was call her a basket player. That would have made the point. What relevance does her race or her sexual orientation have to do with any of this? And the capper is that you didn't just call her a black lesbian, but an angry black lesbian. Coupling "angry" and "black" together is a hallmark of racists. Because of her stance on a political issue she's "angry"? Really?

Making stuff up much? Renewable power’s growth is being turbocharged as countries seek to strengthen energy security The global energy crisis is driving a sharp acceleration in installations of renewable power, with total capacity growth worldwide set to almost double in the next five years, overtaking coal as the largest source of electricity generation along the way and helping keep alive the possibility of limiting global warming to 1.5 °C, the IEA says in a new report. This massive expected increase is 30% higher than the amount of growth that was forecast just a year ago, highlighting how quickly governments have thrown additional policy weight behind renewables. The report finds that renewables are set to account for over 90% of global electricity expansion over the next five years, overtaking coal to become the largest source of global electricity by early 2025. https://www.iea.org/news/renewable-power-s-growth-is-being-turbocharged-as-countries-seek-to-strengthen-energy-security

The issue isn't whether Musk should or shouldn't have appeared on the stage. The issue is censorship which is something Musk eagerly engages in when he's the target.- 128 replies
