  1. Yes, some do. Mind you, not everyone needs to live in central London. Others live on the dole as their parents did and their parents did. As usual, a small number of abusers bleed the system and hurt those it was intended for.
  2. Their space vehicles have not exploded as the Musk machine did today. It shut down air traffic in Florida.
  3. What changed? Blackrock does not operate ports. It has partnered with TiL, the multinational terminal operator, and they are not a US company. Blackrock has a stake in them, but so does MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company (owned by the Aponte family) and the Singapore government. Hutchison was the Hong Kong based owner and is controlled by Canadian Chinese dual national Li Ka-shing, one of the the most powerful businessmen in Asia. He will still hold 20% of the assets. The same workers who were working at the port when there was Hong kong investment will still be there with the new owners. All that changed is that the cards were rearranged. There will still be foreign control and it still won't necessarily be pro-USA. It will be pro profit. And if someone wants to sabotage the ports it can still be done. Congratulations to the USA for alienating Latin America with one idiotic threat. Congratulations too for making an enemy with Li Ka shing.
  4. Please note that PM Starmer took a bold decision. Overseas development aid will fall from 0.5% of the UK’s gross national income to 0.3% – a cut of about £6bn – in order to pay for increased defence spending. UK has no choice as its survival is on the line now.
  5. How is it a disgrace? Musk's claim is unfounded. You do know that the astronauts and the engineers at NASA responsible for safety told him to clean up his deficiencies. His dragon ship wasn't used because of safety issues. And you do know that his spaceships have had multiple failures in the past year. Musk's claims seem like an attempt to deflect from his problems.
  6. The Greenlandic Inuit people are descendants of the Canadian Inuit and have more in common with their Inuit Canadian people than they do with Denmark. They have nothing in common with the USA and its creeping colonialism. The USA is seeking to steal the mineral wealth of Greenland, a wealth that the Greenlanders have sought to develop together with Canada. Denmark and the EU don't want to lose a mineral wealth payday. The USA wants to snatch one. The USA's attempt to coerce Greenland is disgusting.
  7. The Chinese vehicles are not sold in USA or Canada. Even with growth of Chinese sales in the EU market, they only account for 3.7% of market share and are subject to high tariffs. Chinese vehicles dominate the Chinese domestic market, and rightly so. The reality is that the horror stories of Tesla products are steamrolling now. It is notorious for its poor customer service and harsh application of sale conditions and warranty support.
  8. Then there is nothing to criticize. She did her job. You don't like the fact that she transitioned and have a bias. However, no one asked you to be intimate with her, although you would probably be lucky to meet an employed well regarded physician, even an elderly one like Dr. Levine.
  9. You are obviously not aware of what the problem is. Large numbers of financially stable, young and healthy people are abusing the social benefits programs. There are young people who live at home, who refuse to work, collecting benefits. Other people exploit the sick leave system to claim for bogus illnesses. Because of these people, the groups you champion are most at risk of not be able to collect benefits because some are abusing the system.
  10. No it is not. Daily Mail was pushing this story, but it is nonsensical. The astronaut is depressed and wants off the ISS. Understandable. Wilmore says; he acknowledged that he was not fully informed about the political discussions surrounding his extended stay, I don’t know all those details. In case you missed it the experts in space travel tore a strip off of Musk last November because of his disregard for safety. https://spacenews.com/nasa-panel-calls-on-spacex-to-maintain-focus-on-dragon-safety-after-recent-anomalies/ SpaceX uses the dragon craft to fly the rout, but Dragon has some safety issues. WASHINGTON — A recent series of anomalies by SpaceX prompted a warning by a NASA safety panel to stay focused on safety for crewed flights. At an Oct. 31 meeting of the Aerospace Safety Advisory Panel (ASAP), Kent Rominger, a former astronaut who serves on the committee, went through a list of “recent issues” with SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket and Dragon spacecraft that he said served as a reminder to remain vigilant as the company increases its pace of missions. Musk is looking for cover for his problems at SpaceX. . In case you also forgot; the SpaceX Starship has only been been launched 7 times, of which 3 were failures. Biden does not make the launch decisions. The experts at NASA do. Musk is not an aeronautical engineer, nor an astronaut.
  11. All business failures were owned and operated by Trump. The Trump Tampa building was originated and promoted by Trump. All business bankruptcies were Trump operations.
  12. Tesla stock is facing a nightmare that it's not waking up from Sales in a key market are trending down due to external factors. https://www.thestreet.com/automotive/tesla-stock-is-facing-a-nightmare-that-its-not-waking-up-from Tesla shares have dropped more than 30% over the past four weeks and have dropped from a high above $303 this week to as low as $261 during Tuesday's session Maybe Musk can give the company back to the originators. Tesla was incorporated in July 2003 by Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning as Tesla Motors. Tesla owes its existence to the President Obama administration and a Democrat Congress. In June 2009, was given access to $465 million in loans from the United States Department of Energy. The funding, part of the $8 billion Advanced Technology Vehicles Manufacturing Loan Program, supported the engineering and production of the Model S sedan, as well as the development of commercial powertrain technology. Tesla repaid the loan in May 2013 This is the type of loan program Musk is attacking and calls wasteful. If it had not been for the loans there would be no Tesla.
  13. If you are unable to deal with documented facts, don't bother us. You are like a fly that won't go away. The bankruptcies are documented. The business failures are documented.
  14. Trump has made 7 individual bankruptcy filings : Trump Taj Mahal in 1991 Trump Plaza Hotel (New Jersey) in 1992 Plaza Hotel (New York) in 1992 Trump Castle Hotel and Casino 1992 Trump Hotels and Casinos Resorts in 2004 (his largest at $1.8 billion) 2X -Trump Entertainment Resorts Inc. 15. All nice on paper. Not so nice in reality. You are asking a solitary person who is being attacked to "restrain". Thing is, if you watch the video, the assailant was coming at him with intent to do physical harm. The victim was both legally and morally allowed to defend himself. These events are unpredictable and the safest course of action is to incapacitate the violent assailant. The security personnel are not there to be the target of abuse of customers. The reality is that normal rational people do not attack people. I doubt this is the first time that the assailant has done this. I also expect that he has a history of violence. The thug was the assailant, and yes he got what he was due. Not the victim's fault if the assailant was injured. Yours is an argument for not taking responsibility for inappropriate conduct. It is always someone else's fault.
  16. Ar you denying that there was a contract awarded to a Turkish manufacturer? Yes, I did read the ABC news article. What part of my statement did you miss? I will put it in bold to help you follow along. Yes, some hats started to be manufactured in the USA. It provided cover to allow for Trump to say he manufactured his merch in the USA to avoid embarrassments like this from 2020 when almost all the merch at rallies were foreign sourced. https://abcnews4.com/news/local/where-is-maga-merchandise-made
  17. Ask a moderator, not me. Weren't you one of the people who was fond of using terms such as sleepy joe?
  18. You were not elected to public office. President Zelenskyy still retains the confidence of the national legislature. Ukrainians would have chewed him up had he not stood his ground. Yes, he is imperfect, but he too is educated. Perhaps you forget that he was educated as a lawyer, but like many lawyers went into business and became a tv producer as well as a public personality. Mr. Trump owes much of his fame to his appearance on the Apprentice, so they have something in common. President Zelenskyy was ambushed and then bullied by the USA. In particular, VP Vance tried to ingratiate himself with Trump by attacking President Zelenskyy and backing him into a corner. Yes, Zelenskyy could have handled it better, but who would have expected an ally to pull out a dagger and stick it in the back of Ukraine? It reminds me of Vietnam when the USA abandoned its operatives when the USA pulled out. Some national characters never change.
  19. No they do not. Please provide an example of who and how these people "shilled for big pharma". Which pharma companies did the public health professionals go to? They typically take on teaching positions at universities or fully retire. Some take up community health practice assisting in communities which do not have adequate health facilities. Do you even know what they do?
  20. OK. And what's your point? How did her physical condition impact her job performance? She was neither treating patients, nor even in the public eye, remaining focused upon the delivery of professional services to the public.
  21. She transitioned and is legally a female. You are judging the physician based upon physical characteristics and not professional skills. I remind you that she was considered to be excellent in her job and that there were no substantiated professional criticisms made during her tenure.
  22. Nope. It means that when I am exercising or taking a walk, I do not like to have to go through clouds of smoke. It doesn't matter whether it is diesel or cannabis or burning garbage. Cannabis smoke is an organic and its oily characteristic makes it a moderately heavy clinging residue. It doesn't dissipate quickly and hangs in the air.
  23. Ahh, so it is demand that had them send orders to foreign countries. Gotchya. 🤥 https://www.dailysabah.com/world/trump-camp-buys-100000-maga-hats-from-se-turkiyes-adiyaman/news Yes, some hats started to be manufactured in the USA. It provided cover to allow for Trump to say he manufactured his merch in the USA to avoid embarrassments like this from 2020 when almost all the merch at rallies were foreign sourced. https://abcnews4.com/news/local/where-is-maga-merchandise-made The Trump collective mantra is spin baby spin.
  24. It is a nickname for US President Donald J. Trump. It is a reference to his use of a facial cosmetic foundation that gives him an orange glow.
  25. The physician you ridicule, did not embarrass herself with nonsensical deluded conspiracy claims. Nor was she ever criticized for her job performance.
