  1. I thought if you use an agent like key visa, they posted it back to you. By Trendy he does not mean an agent called Trendy, but the HMPO office in the Trendy Building. HMPO require you to collect it from them so they can cancel your old passport. At least that was my experience from a couple of years ago.

  3. If you use the update machine it often overwrites previous entries, and I presume that it is possible for a consolidated entry to zero out and therefore not show that the account could have gone under during the period.
  4. In Thailand they're liable to sneak up behind you especially if you're in a pedestrian only area.

Most bank branches have update machines like ATM's, some are multi-function machines, that is they can do deposits and book updates as well as ATM withdrawals, some are single purpose, at least where I am that is what is available. Of course updates in the book can also be done by tellers inside the bank.

What the kids get up to in the meantime they have no knowledge, and nobody will tell the parents as it may cause problems for interfering in their families lives.
  14. It's comes under the heading of population control.
  15. I've said it before it's too dangerous for the police to be out at night, so they'll be asleep somewhere, also they can't see infractions in daylight so how can you expect the police to see them during the dark.
