Of course it would be 300 Baht whichever way you count it. 9.40am Sunday to 11,00pm Monday is well over 24 hours, so 2 X 24 hour periods or most of Sunday and nearly all Monday, so 2 days at 150/day

1 year extension TM7 query
foreverlomsak replied to Toolong's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
As @ubonjoe has stated different offices different needs. Phitsanulok was fine with the computer copy but my nearest office is Phetchabun and immediately said no must be hand written, also they will not accept the downloaded forms as they have preprinted their own forms which have all the various coloured stamps included, that is from my direct experience, others have not had the same "guidance" from them like the "must use blue ink". -
Work Permit holders are required (and have been for years) to report to Immigration every 90 Days, the report has to contain a number of Employer documents. Maybe that has been changed with the advent of the on-line reporting system, i.e. use Immigration on-line report need to report to WP Office as well.

Not at my local "ttb" branch they aren't. Last year went to deposit cash into my children's accounts, offered Pink Card as ID, not acceptable doesn't show passport no, offered Thai Driving License it does show passport number, not acceptable must be passport, crazy but OK it's their country. This year must have account owners with me (my children aged 16 and 18) luckily still during school holidays.

the banks have always been good at that they apply charges to the accounts for the slightest thing and don't give interest on the balance.

Man Crossing Road in the Dark Hit and Killed in Pattaya
foreverlomsak replied to snoop1130's topic in Pattaya News

I had to go home to do the on-line test on my PC as the-room machines were fully booked on the appointment system for Thai's. Hardest part of the entire process was a 30 km round trip during the office lunchbreak. Arrived at about 10:30 initially (no appointment made just turned up) and left with new license about 2:30.

New Road Enforcement Takes Effect January 9
foreverlomsak replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Easy tattoo forehead with amounts of points left, change number every time person is caught. Never happen of course, but just in case, my forehead is so high it reaches my collar at the back. -
Wise transfer
foreverlomsak replied to bradiston's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
Possibly because it's going an Indian account which presumably is not in your name. -
Yes and no. 1 friend has been told he needs submit one every year along with an annual self-assessment tax return. A 2nd friend who has been here for many years and has a number of pensions says he's never been asked for one. As far as I can work out it's somewhere between, the official line appears to be if they want one they will contact you, if you have the payments going into a UK bank and have a UK address very unlikely that they will ask.

3 Month Bank statement for Immigration
foreverlomsak replied to MJCM's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
True, it's a savings account, have had 3 FD accounts in the past and it was always a problem with IO as the banks concerned (2 different) would not allow me to add to the balance to show a transaction on the day. -
3 Month Bank statement for Immigration
foreverlomsak replied to MJCM's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Lucky you, mine asked me for a 12 month statement. Reasoning, the passbook may have consolidated entries and the ATM book update machine sometimes overprints the previous entry. I use an SCB account so have no need to order it in advance (unlike Bangkok Bank) they can do it there and then. -
Neither Phitsanulok (the extension issuer) or Phetchabun (new local office) Immigration would allow me to change from a retirement extension (non-O) to a working extension, both said I needed to leave country to obtain a B-Visa. Changing from working to retirement was easy, normal submission papers for retirement plus a letter stating why I wanted to remain in Thailand plus confirmation of WP cancellation from local WP office.
