My Android mobile phone , running Android 6.0.1 ( cannot update any more ) is generally running very slow . I have tried all the recommended options to get the phone back to its once quick state , but to no avail. So now I want to do a factory reset and see what difference that may make .

So I’m looking for the best and most reliable option to do a full backup of the phone before I do a factory reset . Once the factory reset has been completed I then want to reinstall all the previously backed up items to the now factory reset phone .

Can any one please recommend a way to achieve the above .

But 3BB are spot on, around 950Mbps.

 

I’m sure if I pinged my work server and my personal servers in Europe I would get  acceptable results. There have been occasions when I have experienced disruption to service or slow transfer speeds, and I have contacted the ISP team at 3BB who noticed a routing issue.  
 

Apart from the actual speeds, are you experiencing any issues? 

Thanks, well my 3BB internet connection completely went off ( currently using a SIM card to connect ) this is the message I now get on my mobile phone using the 3BB app.

Waiting to see what happens next ????

Just did testmy.net to Singapore. Download gives 351. I have a 1000/500 package with 3BB.

I won't complain. No chance.

 

I monitor actual download/upload speeds with a tool in the taskbar (NetSpeedMonitor).

The highest speeds that I achieve are tool based youtube video downloads (1080p, FullHD) at about 400 MBit/s.

The actual speed needed to stream such videos is below 10 Mbit/s.

I'm a bit confused , if I signed up for 3BB GIGA Fiber  Download speed – 1000 Mbps / Upload speed – 300 Mbps and no one in the 3BB office or the 3BB  installation guys mentioned about '' Only  '' getting the advertised speeds ''  if the content supplier is based in Thailand . Any where outside of Thailand then the advertised speeds do '' NOT '' apply . Have I got this right ?

3BB and all the others only guarantee speed in Thailand. Your speed to Japan looks about right.

So what you are saying is when I signed up for 3BB GIGA Fiber  Download speed – 1000 Mbps / Upload speed – 300 Mbps. I was really signing up for a service that will only give me accesses to the speeds advertised , but only for content based in Thailand ? 

Have I got that right .

I have recently had a 3BB fibre internet connection installed in my house and originally it seemed to be working well . The 3BB package I signed up for is the The 3BB GIGA Fiber  Download speed – 1000 Mbps / Upload speed – 300 Mbps.

My computer has a direct wired connection to the 3BB router via an ethernet cable. The 3BB installation people originally first tested the connection speed by using my computer and going to this web page …. https://speedtest.3bb.co.th/

The results from that very first internet speed test are shown on screen shot – A

Ive now noticed that the download speed seems to be getting slower , so I went to this internet speed test web page …..   https://testmy.net/ . And the current results from that web site are shown on screen shot - B 

As you can see there is a big difference between the speed test results as shown on screen shot A and screen shot B.

 I have replaced the original ethernet cable and I have also done a speed test on a second computer I own , which was also connected to the 3BB router via ethernet cable. The speed test results on that second computer were the same as shown in screen shot B.

So I was wondering before I contact 3BB and ask them to come and check things out , if there’s any thing else I should personally check or can do .

I have had installed a new Samsung air conditioner unit in my bedroom. This is the first ever air conditioner unit I have owned.

The air conditioner compressor unit has been installed high up on an outside house wall well away from my bedroom window . When I’m laying in bed while the air conditioner unit is running I can just about hear the fan and feel the cold air flow and a digital display shows the bedroom temperature . But also while laying in bed I don't know if the outside compressor unit is running or not , ( and I don't really want to hear it ) It would be interesting to be able to know if and when the outside compressor unit is actually running , may be via the digital display . Is there a way to see  / know when the outside compressor unit is actually running .

I have looked through the operating booklet that came with the  Samsung air conditioner and cannot find any option to be able to see when the outside compressor unit is actually running. 

Any suggestions / advice / most welcome ????

I hope I’m not breaking any forum rules by providing a web site link. 

This get married online web site was brought up in a recent conversation by a friend here in Thailand , when we were taking about travel restrictions during the current Covid situation. So if some one wants to legally marry a Thai national but cannot travel to Thailand to carry out an official marriage ceremony  The friend is saying that if some one who is not a Thai national but a foreigner and is living outside of Thailand wants to marry a Thai national who permanently resides in Thailand  , then this web site is offering a legal service that will produce the necessary paperwork that will be recognized and approve by Thai immigration .

I had a lot of problems with rats attacking my car's electrical wiring , in the end I found an electronic rat killer on lazada . after putting this electronic rat killer   ( which is mains voltage or battery operated)  in my cars engine bay , its killed a lot of rats and the rats attacking the cars electrical wiring has gone away. I would recommend only using dry type rat poison pellets as the bait , if normal human food is used it quickly deteriorates and the moisture from the deteriorated food can seep into the electronic components . Also any any rats killed should be removed as soon as possible , again to stop any moisture from the dead rat's body from  getting into the electronic circuitry.

Well I had a go using the Lazada chat option , I went through all the problems I am having ( including screen shots ) I then received this email ...

Only time will tell if these annoying issues ever get fixed. ☹️

Well today I logged into my lazada account without a problem ( using the same computer that I always use ) and on my first search for a product I got this come up on screen

Email Verification 

I followed the verify the code , and then I was allowed to continue .  5 minuets later ( still logged in ) the same Email Verification warning reappeared on screen.

This is getting well beyond irritating ????

 This whole ongoing saga with Lazada is getting out of hand. I noticed these comment about the same Lazada issue on reddit.

I agree with the comments about it trying to make users use their app. I have logged onto Lazada using VPNs from several countries/areas, and still get the same message - so it is a fake message. I would like to drop Lazada but have noticed many sellers on Shopee are now getting greedy. Many times the same item is cheaper on Lazada and the shipping is also cheaper. So, even though it's a pita - I still buy stuff from Lazada.

This problem hasn't been fixed in ages. Apparently, as soon as you browse more than ONE product on Lazada, the site deems it too suspicious that you're still on the website or that your a bot. That either says something about what Lazada thinks of their customers or the simply the failure of the website dev team to come up with proper solution

Many of my Thailand based friends are also experiencing the same annoying warning using different internet browsers and operating systems.

I received the above email back from lazada a month ago but nothing has changed . 

I would suggest that any one experiencing this same annoying issue , send lazada your comments using the above email address.

This will get very expensive fast at a private hospital if scans etc are required.

 

If the govt hospital where your  friend is registered under the 30 baht scheme doesn't have an endocrinologist they can refer to a higher level hospital that does. in which case still covered under the "30 baht" scheme.

My Thai friend had the blood test No. 2 done and was not asked by any one to take a pill or have an injection before the actual blood test . 

My personal reaction to not being impressed by the local Government hospital was based on the hospitals overall poor appearance , paint peeling from walls, cramped and over crowded open wards and general what seemed to be a lack of maintenance . May be as your say I’m getting confused by the hospitals physical appearance Vs the hospitals actual facility's and medical quality . The saying never judge a book by its cover now springs to mind ????.
